My Favorite Game Followed Me!-Chapter 737
Chapter 737
Anton’s summons started tearing through the minions that the Arch Lich and the Death Knight summoned. At first, he thought that he would only be dealing with the lich’s spells and curses since the knight was supposedly focused more on physical fights, and he was flying. He thought that the knight would also focus on his summons, but Anton groaned when the Death Knight also started casting spells towards him.
Anton felt that his defenses were powerful enough to tank the spell attacks of the Arc Lich and the Death Knight, but he decided not to take a gamble and simply avoided getting hit by utilizing his Teleport spell.
He saw that some of the spells from the Arch Lich and the Death Knight had homing capabilities, but thankfully, such mechanics were usually confused by Teleportation spells.
At the very least, he knew that Enoril and Leldorin escaped safely since he sent a Raven to accompany them just to make sure, and his raven informed him that the two forest elves safely left the dungeon.
Anton’s summons were powerful due to his high level and his gear, so the moment they reached the enemy minions, they started tearing through them without any problem. Because both Arch Lich and Death Knight were focused on casting their spells towards him, they left the summons alone, and since all of his summons were able to tank the damage they were receiving, Anton kept the Fanaticism Aura instead of switching to the Prayer Aura. 𝐟𝗿𝐞𝚎𝚠𝐞𝚋𝕟𝐨𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝕔𝕠𝚖
Anton cast all of his powerful area of effect spells like the Sorceress’s Frozen Orb, Blizzard, Meteor, Chain Lightning, and several Hydras. He also cast the Druid spells Volcano, Tornado, Hurricane, and Armageddon. He also did not neglect casting the Necromancer curses to weaken the enemies.
He noticed that his spells were more impactful and powerful compared to the last time he went all out. Anton knew that his stats from his Diablo Immortal wizard leveling up and from the wizard’s gear contributed to the massive increase in power that he now had. Still, based on the enemy’s level and reaction, he could not leave the battle to his minions alone because, without him, even though it would probably take a long time, his summons would lose. With Antoin joining in the fight, soon the Arch Lich and the Death Knight fell.
The two powerful undead monsters both dropped high-level mana stones, and surprisingly, their summons also dropped several low-level mana stones. Dungeon gear also appeared, which made Anton confused a little since he had always thought that the gears that the dungeon produced came from dead adventurers who died inside, but since this dungeon was a new one, there were supposedly no adventurers who died inside.
After he stored all of the dropped items, Anton reviewed his situation. Only a couple of his summons died, so he simply summoned them again. They rested for a few minutes to make sure that they were at their peak and continued delving deeper into the dungeon.
Anton fought with powerful vampires, ghouls, liches, death knights, and all types of undead. The enemy was extremely powerful, and if an ordinary adventurer group like his father’s group entered such a dungeon, they would have perished at the hands of such powerful dungeon monsters.
He also allowed some of the enemy spells and attacks to land on him to check his defenses. Most were blocked by his powerful defensive abilities and the sheer amount of his physical stats, and those that managed to get through and caused him injury were easily healed by his Paladin Auras. After those types of experiments, he proceeded to avoid all damage by utilizing his flying and teleportation abilities so that he would not spend too much on fixing his gears through the game’s blacksmiths.
Anton completed the four floors of the newly born but powerful dungeon in three days. He earned a whopping 12 high-level mana stones, 23 medium-level mana stones, and 48 low-level mana stones, plus around 14 high-level equipment. The most valuable loot was the so-called dungeon core.
At first, Anton expected that the core would be guarded by a powerful boss, but the ones guarding it were only as powerful as the first Arc Lich and Death Knight that he encountered on the first floor. In actuality, all the dungeon monsters on all four floors were the same in power level. He was thinking that the dungeon situation, which was a little chaotic since there was no sense of organization at all, was simply because of its newness. He wondered if dungeon cores were sentient.
Anton did not even know how to use the dungeon core, but he would keep it inside the Rose Manor’s treasure room. The moment he took the core, the dungeon started to collapse, so he left immediately.
He was surprised to see that there were a lot of elves outside, and some of them had extremely powerful auras. Enoril and Leldorin reported the situation to the kingdom and had sent powerful elves to assist Anton in conquering the dungeon, but when they arrived, the most powerful elf in their company told everyone to stand down, since when that elf touched the dungeon portal, it was stable, meaning that the situation inside was stable.
They planned to allow Anton to conquer the dungeon and would just attempt the rescue after the third day. Every elf there was surprised when they saw Anton, who looked as fresh as the moment he entered the dungeon with Enoril and Leldorin. Anton reported everything that he experienced inside the dungeon, including the power level of the monsters. He then showed the dungeon core to them. Based on the elves' reaction, the dungeon core was extraordinary but not too rare since Anton did not detect any sense of greed from any of them, not that he had skills that would allow him to detect such things. It was just that, given the long history of the forest elves, Anton was sure that they were not lacking such dungeon cores.
Anton was a little delighted that most of the young elves that he usually hung out with were there. He joined them and gave a detailed description of his adventure inside the rare, powerful, newly born dungeon.
“Could Leldorin and I survive if we stayed to just see your battle with the monsters?” Enoril asked, and Anton simply shook his head.
“The monsters there were extremely powerful, and the battles were all over the place. I would not be able to focus on your safety, and that meant that once the more powerful monsters targeted you, you’re done for. My summons even died a lot, and they’re extremely powerful. If you want to test it out, I can let you battle with one of my Dire Wolves,” Anton said.
One of the high-level elves heard what Anton had said and stopped the journey. Apparently, he was curious and allowed Enoril to battle it out with one of Anton’s Dire Wolves. Since Anton told Enoril that it was okay for him to kill the Dire Wolf, he could go all out. Enoril would also be safe because he would be guarded by a couple of powerful elves.
The group formed a circle, and the battle between a Dire Wolf and Enoril started. The elf did not last for ten seconds and would have died if one of the high-level elf did not cast a barrier on him. The battle intrigued all the younger elves there, who wanted to combat the Dire Wolf as well, and all of them were defeated. Anton expected it because none of them had reached the archmage rank.
