Chapter 655

“I don’t know, sir. You will have to talk to the guide that would be assign to you regarding that,” the aquarium wizard guide said to Anton.

Anton understood that he probably made a blunder somewhere. More than likely, it was because the high-level mana stone was worth around 100 medium-level mana stones, but then again, such things did not concern Anton too much since, again, he was rich.

Even though he was only carrying just ten high-level mana stones, it was easy enough to return to the Rose Manor to get more, if he needed to, and if, for some reason, he became desperate for mana stones, he could just dive inside a dungeon to get a bunch of them. 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚

Anton just nodded at their guide. After that, they were all led out of the aquarium theme park museum thingy. Anton noticed that the old couple was now encouraging their daughter to talk to Kirk. It was understandable since they now knew that the young man was probably an apprentice of a powerful Supreme Wizard. Even if it was exaggerated, there was still a chance that Anton’s rank was high enough to be still impressive. They disregarded the fact that Anton looked the same age as his supposed apprentices because everyone knew that a powerful wizard could and usually does change their appearance.

Anton, Kirk, Mesono, Abdul, and Omar went somewhere to eat, then they headed directly back to the inn where they were staying. While they were walking, Kirk asked Anton a question.

“Won’t your squad look for you if you’re going to be absent for a long time?”

“I did inform my captain that I’ll be taking a vacation, and my contributions during the last battle were great enough that they wouldn’t mind me being gone for at least a week. I think,” Anton replied.

The good thing about the loose structure of the side of the army that he was a part of, most were volunteers and could leave if they were not in the middle of a mission. At that moment, the defenses at the Western Gate were formed by three kingdoms, so it was powerful enough that his absence would not be noticeable, and once he was ready to rejoin, Anton was sure that they would be happy enough to accept him back again, given his record.

Once they were back, Anton instructed the four guys to read the Basics of Magic book for an hour. In the meantime, he retrieved the large mirror that they purchased on the way back to the inn. He planned to create a large mana power bank so that his four “apprentices” could cast their memorized spells into the mirror, and then the tamed mana could be released inside the suite. Once the room was saturated with mana, their memorization rate would increase further. They only had a few hours a day for a week with him, and before he transported them back into the Rose Manor, he would like them to increase their rank further.

Once he was done creating the mirror mana power bank, he told Kirk and the others to stop reading and instructed them to cast their spells toward the mirror.

“What’s that for?” Mesono asked.

“To increase your wizard rank, you will need to keep memorizing spells. Normally, a wizard would just cast their spells somewhere to empty their spell slots, but it’s such a waste. This device will store the mana from your spells, and once it has enough stored mana, it will release what some wizards call “tamed” mana into the air, which would make this room suitable for spell memorization since it would increase the speed you can memorize your spells,” Anton replied.

He then taught them how to turn on the switch that would release the mana into the air. Anton cast several spells into the mirror to fill the storage halfway through. After a few minutes, he could feel that the suite was starting to be saturated with mana. He then instructed the four guys to return to memorizing their spells.

In the meantime, since Anton was on vacation, he decided to watch a movie to relax. He decided to set up a cinema room inside his suite, and he did not care that Kirk and the others were memorizing their spells in the living room. He set up the mini cinema in one of the walls by setting up a white blanket there, then he took a comfortable chair and placed it in front of the large white blanket that was nailed to the wall. He then cast his globe of browser sharing and adjusted the video and audio to his liking. After he was satisfied, he called the Kirk, Mesono, Abdul, and Omar.

“What are you doing?” Kirk asked.

“I’m going to watch a movie, and since I know that you all will not be able to concentrate once I start it, let us all just watch together.”

Kirk and the others took the sofa from and arranged it to face the white blanket and waited curiously to see what Anton was going to do next. Anton planned to watch Finding Nemo and Finding Dory since he wanted to continue the sea or ocean vibe that came from going to the aquarium.

“By the way, can one of you call the innkeeper?” Anton asked, and Omar ran outside.

After a couple of minutes, Omar returned with the fat innkeeper.

“Is there anything you need, young sir?” the fat innkeeper asked.

“We will be watching a film, and it might be noisy. Will we be disturbing any other renters?”

“No. There is a Silence Rune inscribed on the door to prevent noise from disturbing the other occupants.”

“That’s fine. Do you want to stay to watch the films with us?” Anton asked the innkeeper.

Ishmael, the fat innkeeper, looked at Kirk and the others, and they all just shrugged. Out of curiosity, the innkeeper joined them on the sofa.

Anton started the movie Finding Nemo. Once it started, Anton laughed a little when he saw the innkeeper, Kirk, and the others’ eyes wide with wonder. He then turned his attention to the movie and watched it with them.

Once Finding Nemo was done, Anton clapped and everyone followed suit.

“That was a wonderful film,” Anton said.

“How is that storytelling possible?” Ishmael, the innkeeper, asked, and Anton could see that Kirk and the others were curious as well.

Anton simply shrugged and said that it was magic. He did not want to get into explaining the complex process of movie-making.

“There’s a second part, but before we watch it, let’s eat first. Can you get us food and drinks from the kitchen?”

“Of course! You don’t need to pay me. Just allow me to watch the second movie!” the innkeeper said.

Ishmael then rushed outside, and after they waited for less than twenty minutes, he returned with food for everyone. Everyone ate hurriedly except for Anton. It was as if they could not wait to finish as soon as possible, so they could watch the second movie.

Once they were done, Ishmael called someone to take the dishes out, then Anton started the second movie of the night, which was Finding Dory.

When it was done, Anton clapped again. In his opinion, both movies were full of charm and captured the magic of the ocean. It was a good ending for the day spent immersed in the magic of the sea.
