My Divine Diary-Chapter 4: Escape

Su Hao had experienced many ways of dying and now lacked a strong fear of death. This allowed him to look rather calm.

The threat of death was right in front of him. The way he saw it, there was an 80-90% chance of being doomed, but he didn’t plan on going down easily.

The murderer’s eyes were bloodshot, his thinking was all messed up. The machete that he was swinging around slashing wildly wasn’t hitting anything.

Run? You think you can run? A cruel light flashed through the murderer’s eyes and he began to chase.

As the plastic boards fell, Su Hao grabbed some loose sand from his pocket and tossed it at the murderer’s eyes.

The murderer subconsciously released Su Hao’s ankle and raised his hands in front of his eyes. Although he blocked most of the sand, the distance was too close. Su Hao had tossed the sand too abruptly. Some of the sand entered the murderer’s eyes.

“Ah!” The murderer screamed, frantically blinking and rubbing his eyes.

Su Hao rolled and got up. He punched the murderer’s crotch as hard as he could.

“Ow—” The murderer’s machete slipped out of his hands as he squatted down painfully covered his bits.

Su Hao immediately ran out the door.

The sand would automatically be cleaned out by the eyes and the pain from the punch would only last a few more seconds before recovering. At that time, he wouldn’t be able to run anymore. This time, if the murderer grabbed the machete again, he didn’t have a way to resist anymore.

Su Hao ran out the door without issue. Once he was out, he saw some 30-40 year old men holding batons, charging towards the classroom.

“Phew. The reinforcements finally arrived!” Su Hao breathed a sigh of relief as he kept running forwards until he was picked up by a male stranger.

The man carried him into the crowd, placed him among the protected children, then turned around and charged back into the classroom.

At this time, the group of children were loudly crying. Seeing Su Hao join them, they were stunned for a bit. Then Su Hao’s vision swept over them and the kids actually stopped crying loudly. They carefully turned their heads away and sobbed silently.

Soon, the murderer in the classroom was subdued by those men. There were also sounds of ambulances and police cars in the distance.
