My College Teacher is My Children's Mom-Chapter 660: Educational Experience
Thanks to her brother, everyone knew that Tian Tian was no academic star.
She accepted her poor grades, but when Li Kaixin mentioned getting perfect scores, her little face froze for a moment.
The show’s editors later added a bolt of lightning effect to magnify her expression.
Tian Tian just said, "Oh. That’s pretty good. My grades aren’t great, and I have a lot of homework..."
After speaking, she took out her homework and started working on it.
Xi Mi and Xing Yun both liked Tian Tian and watched over her like two great guardians, one on each side.
Li Kaixin went to find Jiao Jiao.
Jiao Jiao was also in the first grade, so he asked her, "Do you have winter break homework?"
Jiao Jiao shook her head. "Nope!"
But then she turned and added, "I have drawing homework, dance homework, Go homework..."
In any case, she had plenty of homework for her well-rounded development.
Tian Tian fidgeted a lot while doing her homework, constantly alternating between sharpening her pencil and playing with her eraser.
"My daughter is just like Tian Tian. No matter how much I teach her, she never changes. It’s so frustrating!"
"This must be the odd one out in a family of academic superstars. Everyone else in my family went to prestigious universities... sigh!"
"She reminds me of my younger brother. He always finished his homework so late..."
"Isn’t this just me slacking off at work? AHHHHH!"
Tian Tian was doing her math homework. The problems weren’t difficult, but she was prone to careless mistakes.
Lin Feng glanced over and reminded his slacking daughter, "Tian Tian, focus on your homework!"
The fathers of the two little guardians called their children over.
"Xi Mi, come here. Don’t disturb your big sister while she’s doing her homework!"
"Xing Yun, come to Daddy. Let your sister work in peace."
These days, a child’s education is a top priority.
While Jiao Jiao, Li Kaixin, and the other kids went out to play, the dads discussed their children’s education.
Lin Feng had always believed that being a good person was more important than one’s accomplishments.
The Four Treasures were exceptionally talented and had never caused him any worry when it came to their studies.
When it came to Tian Tian, her academic abilities couldn’t compare to her older siblings, and Lin Feng didn’t want to pressure her.
If he did, one could only imagine the strain she would be under, living in the shadow of her siblings’ academic superstar auras.
In Lin Feng’s view, grades and scores only reflected how well a child absorbed knowledge; they didn’t tell the whole story.
Jiao Jiao’s dad, on the other hand, valued education greatly and was fostering his daughter’s abilities in all areas.
Though only in the first grade, her schedule was already packed; she only had half a day of rest on the weekend.
He had joined the show for two reasons. First, he needed the publicity. Second, he wanted to take the opportunity to grow closer to his daughter.
Xi Mi’s dad was more relaxed. He hoped his child could just be a child while she was young, giving her a beautiful childhood so that every memory she looked back on would be filled with happiness and joy.
Xing Yun’s dad was a businessman who juggled work and caring for his daughter. His wife was an actress with a flourishing career and had little time for family. Compared to his daughter’s education, his greatest wish was simply to be by her side.
Li Kaixin’s dad had an educational approach similar to Jiao Jiao’s dad, focusing on comprehensive development. He said proudly, "Kaixin knows three languages and is a very disciplined child who takes good care of herself."
They all knew Lin Feng was very successful in educating his children and wanted to learn from his experience.
When it comes to my children’s academics, I really don’t have any experience to share! It’s all up to the kids themselves!
So, he simply shared a few stories about how the Four Treasures grew up.
As they were talking, Tian Tian came running over with a PATTER PATTER PATTER. "Dad, I’m finished!"
Lin Feng took her notebook and looked at it.
At that moment, the camera zoomed in.
"Her handwriting is a bit ugly, Tian Tian!"
"Uhh..."
"You can’t even tell it’s a girl’s handwriting!"
After checking, Lin Feng praised Tian Tian, "Not bad. Your handwriting has improved a lot. Keep up the good work!"
Tian Tian giggled, packed up her things, and went off to play.
Just then, the production team made an announcement.
They told the children to find an elderly woman who was holding a task card. The fathers could only continue with their task after the children obtained the task card, so all they had to do was wait.
The production team told the children, "The grandmother’s house has a small red flag. Once you find it, you’ll have found her home."
The children set off together.
Xing Yun’s father was a foreigner, so when she chatted with everyone, she would unconsciously speak a few words in a foreign language. Jiao Jiao and Li Kaixin could only understand a little of what she was saying, and Xi Mi didn’t understand at all.
But Tian Tian could converse directly with Xing Yun, and the two of them started chatting back and forth. When Xi Mi couldn’t understand, Tian Tian even translated for her.
While walking and picking flowers, Jiao Jiao asked Tian Tian, "What else can you do besides translating?"
Whenever Jiao Jiao spoke, she had a spoiled attitude that rubbed people the wrong way, and her tone was overly delicate.
Tian Tian led Xi Mi and Xing Yun forward, taking good care of her two younger guardians. 𝐟𝕣𝗲𝕖𝕨𝗲𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗲𝚕.𝗰𝚘𝐦
"I can do a lot! I know Korean, German, English, Italian, and many more!"
Holding Xing Yun’s hand, Tian Tian said in a foreign language, "Be careful, this step is very high."
The subtitle team later thoughtfully provided a translation.
Jiao Jiao’s eyes widened in disbelief. "You’re lying! No one can know that many languages!"
Tian Tian was surprised. "My dad, my mom, and my brothers and sisters all know lots of languages!"
Li Kaixin asked curiously, "What else do they know?"
"Russian, Spanish, Japanese... a lot, anyway!"
Li Kaixin praised her, "You’re so amazing! And they are too."
Tian Tian replied, looking as if it were nothing out of the ordinary, "It’s no big deal!"
Jiao Jiao continued picking flowers as she walked. Li Kaixin, who was playing nearby, urged her on.
"We need to hurry up and do the task!"
Jiao Jiao didn’t seem to care. "The grandmother isn’t going anywhere. There’s no rush."
Just then, the scene cut to the grandmother leaving her old house...
Tian Tian, leading the two younger children, dashed around looking everywhere, quickly leaving Jiao Jiao and Li Kaixin far behind.
Xi Mi asked, "Big Sister Tian Tian, there are so many houses. How are we going to find the right one?"
Tian Tian looked around. "The house with the cameras must be the grandmother’s house!"
That’s right! the two little friends thought.
Inspired by Tian Tian, Xi Mi and Xing Yun took the production team’s task very seriously. The contrast between them and Jiao Jiao was immediately apparent.
In the end, Li Kaixin had no choice but to search on his own.
Meanwhile, Tian Tian’s group got lucky and ran into the grandmother on the road.
Tian Tian tilted her head, and with a mischievous glint in her eyes, she approached and sweetly greeted the grandmother.
"Grandma, do you have a task card for us?"
The grandmother was surprised. "Child, how did you know?"
Tian Tian giggled. "I guessed!"
The grandmother took the task card out of her pocket. "Here you go."
All three children could read and saw the task on the card:
Within the designated time: Find three hidden patterns in the village.
PS: After finding them, go to the dam entrance to get the reward from the village head.
Having read this, the three children hurriedly went hand in hand to find their parents. They took the lower road, while Li Kaixin took the upper one. When he learned that the three had already gotten the task card, he grew anxious and rushed off to find the house.
As for Jiao Jiao, she had started chasing butterflies again.
This time around, it was clear she was truly enjoying herself.
