My Charity System made me too OP-Chapter 232: Invading the Invaders
"She's still alive?" she asked calmly.
Leon gave a short nod. "Barely."
"Did you learn anything from her?" she asked, nodding slightly as Leon shook his head.
"She didn't open her mouth. I guess I can just wait and let her feel despair—maybe then she'll start talking," he said, and Luna nodded.
"Thank you," she said as Leon led her.
"I mean… thank you for getting angry—for Millie's sake," she added softly.
Leon simply nodded.

Elsewhere…
In the Daemon Continent of Demosna, a dark mirror flickered in Asmodeus's private chamber.
He watched Myria's tortured form, licking his lips in amusement.
"So she failed…" he whispered. "And now she's broken."
Behind him, a figure knelt in the shadows. "Shall we retrieve her, my lord?"
"No," Asmodeus said. "Let Leon keep her. If she breaks, she breaks. If she turns, she becomes our poison in their garden."
The Daemon Lord of Lust chuckled as he raised his glass of blood-wine.
"Either way, she's still of use… just like he said."

"I'm going back, you should rest too," Luna said, leaving Leon alone on the balcony.
As she left, Shubh appeared from the shadows.
"So, what's her purpose?" Leon asked as Shubh smiled softly, giggling slightly before answering.
"She was a spy. The other Demon Lord of Lust wanted to learn how the Demon Lord of Wrath died, so she was sent here."
"But after accidentally hearing you say you are weak now, she messaged back saying you're now weaker—and the demons should advance," she said as Leon looked at her.
"They are still creating path, so it will take three months for them to come," she added.
"Too long," Leon said, stepping closer, and Shubh looked at him.
"Just go and kill that Demon Lord of Lust, or whoever he is," he said flatly.
Shubh smiled, showing her fanged mouth again, but quickly covered it. 'Lord doesn't like it,' she thought, relieved that Leon didn't seem to notice her demonic form.
"As you wish, my Lord," she said, leaving.
Leon leaned on the railing, staring into the distance.
"Hmm, the Demon Lords are Tier V powerhouses... but the Insane Difficulty Trial starts by killing their leader, the Mad Demon King, who is a Tier VI powerhouse," Leon mumbled, wondering just how difficult the final trial of this world would be—if the starting point is already that much stronger.
Leon sighed, the wind brushing through his hair as he gazed out at the city lights below. Tier VI is just a start… The thought echoed in his mind.
"Just what kind of monster am I supposed to face?" Leon muttered.
He closed his eyes and looked up at the sky.
"Well... whatever it is, I just have to make sure I'm strong by then," he murmured, before heading back to rest.
But not before pouring another cup of wine over the bound and wounded Myria.
"Tch. A bitch like you, who can even kill a child, doesn't deserve mercy," he said coldly as he walked past her.
Myria groaned in pain, her body trembling as she tried to stifle her screams.
With that, Leon turned away and went to rest, as the night slowly fell upon Blue Wind City.

But not his Absurd follower...
Shubh Nigurath moved like a shadow of death beneath the pale moonlight, her form draped in a cloak darker than the abyss itself. Her golden eyes glowed faintly beneath her hood, casting a baleful gleam upon the cursed land known as the Dread Forest. With every step she took, the earth itself seemed to tremble, and the trees—twisted, gnarled things—shrank away from her path, as if fearing her presence.
The monsters of the forest were relentless.
Gnashing fanged beasts leapt from the brush. Skeletal hounds with burning blue eyes howled as they charged. Abominations made of flesh, rot, and shadow rose from beneath the moss-covered ground, all drawn to the unnatural energy that bled from her.
But they never got far.
Without even drawing a weapon, Shubh swept her hand through the air, and the forest screamed.
A pulse of crimson energy radiated from her, like a blooming flower of death. Trees snapped and withered. The beasts exploded into sprays of blood, torn apart by unseen claws. The very air twisted and churned with her power, warping reality itself. Where she walked, the soil turned black and smoldered. Her path through the forest became a trail of red-stained earth, marked by silence and the stink of burnt flesh.
By the time she emerged from the Dread Forest, she was covered in blood—but none of it was hers.
Ahead of her stretched the windswept plains that sloped gently toward the jagged cliffs above the Dread Sea. There, camped in a crescent formation, was a battalion of demons. Over a thousand strong, they wore armor of bone and black iron, their war banners depicting the mark of Asmodeus—the Demon Lord of Lust. Horned commanders shouted orders, weapons were sharpened, and siege beasts were being harnessed for war.
These were the demons preparing to carve a bloody road through the Dread Forest and pierce the human continent. They had not expected a visitor.
Shubh walked straight into their midst.
"Identify yourself!" barked a demon lieutenant, his body bristling with spines and dark plate mail.
She said nothing.
"Did you not hear me, worm? I said—"
He didn't finish the sentence.
His head fell to the ground, still blinking. His body remained upright for a moment, as if confused, before collapsing in a heap of gore.
Screams erupted from the ranks, but it was far too late. Shubh raised her hands, and with a whisper of an incantation, the plains were bathed in a crimson mist.

Demons turned on each other in blind frenzy, cutting down allies as their minds shattered under her illusion. Shadows extended from beneath her feet like living things, spearing through armored chests, ripping apart wings, shattering bone. Even those who managed to resist her mental onslaught fell to raw, overwhelming power—her magic not just destructive, but consuming.
By the time the blood-soaked mist cleared, not a single demon remained alive.
The banners were torn. The ground was painted red. Shubh stood alone amidst the wreckage, her cloak fluttering in the sea wind, her face calm as ever.
"My Lord said three month is too long," she whispered with a wicked smile.
With one last glance at the Dread Sea's crashing waves below, Shubh turned her eyes toward the Daemon continent.
