Mummy Evolution-Chapter 22: GRRRRR!
Chapter 22: GRRRRR!
"I just want to sleep," Zainah said while stretching, giving Sett an amazing view of her assets.
Sett subconsciously reached out with his hands and pulled Zainah into his embrace. She immediately closed her mouth by instinct. He smiled, watching the beautiful woman squirm in his hold.
"What are—" she said. "Wait." Sett pinned her hand on the bed and pushed her entire body on to it. He then loomed over her.
"What are you doing?" Zainah asked while moving her neck away from him.
Sett wrapped his fingers around her fingers and then tightly held both of her hands.
"You look beautiful," he said.
She moved away her face even more, thinking that he was going to kiss her. Sett leaned down and kissed her beautiful neck instead, completely breaking all her defenses. She couldn't help but think he was smooth.
Then, just as she was about to react, she caught sight of a pair of wide, curious eyes peeking at them from the side.
Zarah sat there, completely immersed in the unfolding scene, her hands clasped together as though watching the climax of a dramatic play.
Realization struck like a lightning bolt.
Zainah's entire face turned scarlet. Her body jerked in embarrassment, and Sett finally released her, his lips curving in amusement.
"Go bathe," he said, licking his lips.
Like a startled kitten, Zainah bolted upright and dashed toward the bathroom. Zarah remained for a moment, watching her sister disappear in a flurry. Then, she turned to Sett and gave him a slow, approving thumbs-up before following after Zainah.
She looked as if she had thoroughly enjoyed the show.
Sett chuckled, leaning back against the bed, utterly entertained.
...
By the time the girls finished their baths and dressed up—inside the bathroom itself—not even giving Sett a nice show, it was well past noon. The skies had darkened completely and Burrhen had entered its nightlife.
Sett looked at Zainah as she dried her long black hair infront of a small mirror. Zarah was also doing the same thing by the side.
Interested, he picked up the towel by the side and walked behind Zainah, making her tense up. Then, without letting her resist, he began drying her hair.
"I don't want your help," she said with a huff.
Zarah pouted from the side. "Yeah then just help me dry my hair. This thing is so annoying when it is wet."

Sett didn't get the chance to reply before Zainah pulled her little sister and began forcefully drying the girl's hair.
"I will do that for you!" She fumed.
Zarah just chuckled.
...
Soon, the trio left the house and took the camel to a place that sold camels. They let the camel rest there for some money and then, they walked into the nightlife of the city.
All sorts of beautiful lights filled the place, hawkers and merchants—even entertainers, filling the place to the brim.
Usually, Zarah and Zainah entered the city at night for a single purpose. Pickpocketing. But today, they were with Sett, so they just followed him.
Immediately enough, they were dumbfounded.
Unlike earlier, Sett wasn't dirty nor did he have too much of a stink on him. The moment he began walking amidst the lights in the city, heads began to turn. Women looked at him with open mouths while men looked at him with open jealousy.
He put his arms into his pockets, raised his head, and looked around with the grace of a Pharaoh.
That was it. He was cool.
Like a—
"Narcissistic as fuck," Zarah commented.
"It's confidence," Sett corrected, touching his hair.
Zarah ignored him and growled at the people looking towards them. She was strong and even walking left behind small cracks on the limestone, so her growls were indeed effective at scaring most.
But she understood them, to be honest.
She thought about what Sett had told them while they were drying their hair.
"By the way, don't hide your beauty with dirt and clothes. Come as your best self," he had said.
The girls both looked at each other. In the slums and in prison, being beautiful was often more a curse than a blessing. They had always hid their appearance into something that looked mediocre, but they had both always been very beautiful women.
But now, they felt as if their appearance didn't matter at all.
In retrospect, they might have been the narcissistic ones.
None of the people were even looking at them—everyone was just lost in Sett.
Was Sett even human?
Just as they were about to pass this area of the district, a woman ran out from the crowd and stood before Sett. She was beautiful, Zarah had to admit. And she also looked young!
Immediately, she became unhappy.
"What do you want?" she asked.
The woman ignored her and looked at Sett, star struck.
Sett looked back at her and winked at her before passing her by with a graceful step.
She clutched her chest and fell to her knees. "My heart!"
"Zarah," Sett said. "Tell me, what would you want to do today if you had enough money to do anything?"
She contemplated seriously. "Anything?"
"Tell me and we will see."
The girl looked at her sister but she just got a glare in return.
"I think I don't wan—"
"Don't be like your sister and tell me what you want."
He lifted Zarah up from the back and made her sit on his back. She was destroying the flooring too much.
Once on his back, Zarah was emboldened and made a funny face at Zainah. Then, she looked at Sett and said, "If I had all the money in the world, I will go to Burrhen's best restaurant and eat everything there."
"Then?"
She closed her eyes tightly, thinking. "Then I will buy clothes. A lot of clothes. Expensive clothes."
"Then?"
"I will go to the Saloon," she said. "They say there is a person with an Axiom there who will make you look very pretty. But it's very expensive."
Sett adjusted the girl's position and looked back at Zainah. "Then today's night is filled with out plans. What do you say?"
Zainah looked at the duo and felt that at some point, she had become the outsider.
"Whatever," she said but when he smiled at her, even she couldn't help but blush.
Bastard mummy! Freak! GRRRRR!
