Multiversal Friendship System-Chapter 194 - 193 – Your Sister Has My Blood in Her Veins
Chapter 194 - 193 – Your Sister Has My Blood in Her Veins
After letting go of Souta's head, Nezuko squatted next to the hotpot, eyes fixed on the steaming food inside.
Just as Urokodaki was about to ask if she wanted to eat, Nezuko had already reached into the pot and stuffed a handful of food into her mouth.
"Nezuko! Don't eat with your hands like that! That's rude—stop!"
Tanjiro rushed over to pull her back.
Behind his Tengu mask, Urokodaki's face was no doubt filled with invisible black lines.
Souta, on the other hand, couldn't help but be reminded of Kanna. He found Nezuko's behavior oddly cute.
"Tanjiro, let it go. She hasn't eaten in two years—of course she's starving."
Urokodaki stopped Tanjiro and shook his head.
"Since Souta-san has cured her, I imagine she can eat this now."
No sooner had he said that than Nezuko suddenly spit out everything she'd just chewed, her face twisted in disgust. She looked like she was about to kick the pot over.
Urokodaki: "..."
"Nezuko, please! Listen to your brother! Don't be reckless!"
Tanjiro scrambled to hold her back.
"She probably can't stomach human food," Souta said, watching her. "I only removed her craving for flesh. Her body is still that of a demon, so it probably finds normal food unpalatable."
—Also, the hotpot really wasn't that great, Souta thought privately.
He kept that part to himself, not yet close enough to Urokodaki to speak too freely.
"But if she can't eat human food... how will she recover her energy?" Urokodaki asked with concern.
"It's fine. I'll just expand her diet a bit. Besides, she should be able to recover some strength through sleep now."
Souta conjured a cup, then used his divine power to slice open his wrist, letting his blood stream quickly into the cup.
When it was full, he handed it over.
"Here. Have a drink."
Nezuko immediately broke free from Tanjiro's grasp, darted over, snatched the cup from Souta's hand, and downed it in one go. She held her cheeks and let out a pleased sigh.
"Uhh... is that really okay?" Tanjiro asked nervously. "Won't it accelerate her demon transformation?"
"It doesn't matter if it does. It'll just increase her power. The urge to eat humans is already gone."
As Souta spoke, he summoned a ball of divine energy and suspended it before him.
Though it floated in the air, it was still tethered to his divine realm—not bound to any physical object.
The glowing orb drew the attention of everyone in the room—two humans and one former demon.

Nezuko poked it out of curiosity, but her finger went straight through. Irritated, she kept poking it repeatedly like it was a game.
"What... is that?" Tanjiro asked while trying to stop her.
"It's divine power. It can grant wishes."
Souta looked at the orb.
"I'll use this one to adjust Nezuko's diet so she can eat normal food again. Think about any other 'demon traits' she should lose—we'll fix them all."
"Divine power..."
Both Tanjiro and Urokodaki were clearly intrigued. But they knew this wasn't the time to get curious about gods, and forced themselves to stay focused.
Tanjiro thought for a moment and said, "Demons fear sunlight. Can you fix that?"
"Sure." Souta summoned another orb of divine energy. "This one will get rid of her sunlight weakness. If it's not enough, I'll add more when I make the wish. What else?"
Urokodaki spoke up: "All demons are cursed by Muzan Kibutsuji. It's a risk. If we don't remove it, she could be controlled."
"Good point. Can't be that vulnerable."
Souta created a third orb. "This one will remove the curse."
"Oh! And intelligence!" Tanjiro blurted. "Nezuko's mind regressed when she turned into a demon. Can that be restored?"
"It can. Though it's probably not just intelligence—she's lost some memory too."
Souta pulled out a fourth orb.
"This one will restore both her intellect and memory."
While the three talked, Nezuko began to fidget, sensing something on her. She reached into her clothes and pulled out a phone.
Apparently annoyed, she tossed it away.
But it instantly flew back and reattached itself to her.
Frustrated, she threw it again—same result.
Now fully engaged in a one-sided battle, she forgot all about poking divine energy and focused entirely on throwing the phone.
Souta chuckled at the sight.
This silly side of her—so endearing—probably wouldn't last much longer.
Once the divine power restored her, her mind would return to that of a 12-year-old. By age, she was now 14, but since she'd been asleep for two years, her mental age hadn't changed.
With everything decided, Souta began channeling wishes into the four orbs.
But before he began, Tanjiro suddenly said:
"Souta-san, I probably can't offer much, but... please, at least let me know what kind of reward you expect. It feels wrong to accept all this help for free."
Souta looked at him and thought about his personality.
Tanjiro was the type who hated owing anyone—whether emotionally or financially.
He'd been waiting this whole time, clearly uneasy about the lack of a price.
Souta remembered what Hestia had warned him about and smiled, holding up five fingers.
"Don't worry—I never planned to do this for free. The price is 500 points. It's a fair deal."
"Five hundred... points?" Tanjiro blinked, confused.
"Once your sister's mind is back and she reads the group announcement, explain it to her. She'll get it."
Souta added thoughtfully:
"I might also take a bit of her blood. Don't worry—it won't hurt her."
With some demon blood, he could maybe develop a no-side-effect transformation serum—a pathway to immortality.
If it worked, he'd never need to risk going to the Wine of Eternal Life world again.
"Her blood? That should be fine," Tanjiro nodded after some thought.
"Alright, deal. Let's get started."
The four divine orbs before Souta began to glow.
Tanjiro and Urokodaki watched with wide, anxious eyes as the light radiated around the room.
Souta glanced at Nezuko, still throwing her phone around, and silently made his four wishes.
In that moment, Nezuko suddenly froze, mid-throw.
Golden light enveloped her. She stood bathed in the divine glow as four transformations took hold.
The process lasted ten full seconds.
At the same time, nearly half of Souta's divine energy reserves vanished from his inner realm.
The black-haired girl stood motionless at the doorway, silent.
"Nezuko..." Tanjiro called out, his voice trembling slightly.
Ahead of him, the girl's body twitched.
She slowly turned her head and looked at Tanjiro.
