He could sense the subtle flow of air, hear faint sounds from afar, and even predict some upcoming dangers.

"What's happening? It seems like I've become stronger," Shen Jingqi said in surprise, his eyes filled with both doubt and delight.

Li Baiyu looked at him and smiled, "Perhaps this is the change brought about by our experience in the four-dimensional consciousness matrix. In such extreme environments, our bodies and minds have both been trained and enhanced, awakening some special abilities is normal."

Hearing this, Shen Jingqi was thrilled. "Does this mean I can better help everyone break through Li Yuanshin's four-dimensional consciousness space?" His eyes revealed anticipation and confidence.

Li Baiyu nodded, "That's right, the stronger you are, the more it helps us break through the four-dimensional consciousness space. However, you must also control your power, so it doesn't backfire on you."

Shen Jingqi nodded vigorously, "Don't worry, I'll be careful."

After several days of arduous trekking, they finally arrived at the edge of the Illusion Dream Forest. Before them was a dense forest, with tall and sturdy trees whose thick branches and lush leaves blocked out the sunlight, making the forest interior appear exceptionally dark and mysterious.

"So this is the Illusion Dream Forest? It really looks mysterious," Shen Jingqi marveled, his heart filled with both anticipation and a trace of fear.

Everyone nodded, then cautiously stepped into the Illusion Dream Forest. Upon entering, they immediately felt a strange aura wash over them. The aura carried a hint of sweetness and a touch of eeriness that when inhaled, inevitably conjured up all sorts of strange images in their minds.

"Hold your breath, everyone, this aura may have a confusing effect on the mind," Uncle Li reminded them.

Everyone quickly held their breath and continued into the depth of the forest. As they ventured further, the scenery around them became increasingly bizarre. The shapes of trees began to change, some transforming into massive monsters clawing towards them; others turned into beautiful fairies dancing gracefully, attempting to entice them; and others into mountains of gold and silver, emitting alluring glows.

"These are all illusions, don't be misled by them," Uncle Li shouted loudly, his voice echoing through the forest, keeping everyone alert.

Shen Jingqi tried hard to stay calm, but the illusions were so realistic that he couldn't help but feel tempted. He saw a massive treasure mountain piled high with gold, silver, and precious gems. A powerful desire surged in his heart to rush up and claim the treasures for himself.

"No, I can't be misled by these illusions," Shen Jingqi silently admonished himself, biting his tongue for pain which instantly brought him back to clarity.

At the edge of the real world, hides the mysterious and unfathomable Illusion Dream Forest. Stepping into it is like entering a golden dream forgotten by time. The tall ginkgo trees rise from the ground, with branches thick and twisted, as if etched with marks of time. The lush foliage weaves together to form an enormous golden dome that enshrouds the forest within. Sunlight filters through the leaf gaps, forming beams of golden light, as though they are dreamlike rays, adding a mysterious and ethereal aura to the forest.

Shen Jingqi suddenly saw some information.

Li Baiyu, Li Yuanshin's daughter, had lived from a young age in a repressive and stifling family atmosphere. Her mother had never been able to come out of the grief from the loss of her son (Li Baiyu's brother). It was a sudden disaster; the brother perished in an accident and left this world forever, like a bolt from the blue, shattered the originally happy family.

From then on, the mother seemed like a different person. Her gaze became cold and hollow, rarely revealing a smile on her face. She kept a distant and indifferent attitude toward Li Baiyu and Li Yuanshin, as if they were strangers. The house was often filled with an oppressive silence that suffocated all within.

So, he decided to use this technology to plant her beloved ginkgo trees at the core of the four-dimensional consciousness space, creating a dream-like world for her.

After countless days and nights of effort, the Illusion Dream Forest was born. It was a world belonging to him and his wife alone, each ginkgo tree bearing his deep love for her. He hoped when she entered this forest, she could feel his love, forget past pains, and rediscover life's happiness.

Li Baiyu was always curious about her father's experiments. She often saw him working alone in the lab, with a mysterious and exhilarating glow in his eyes. She couldn't help asking, "Dad, what exactly are you doing?"

Father always smiled, patted her head, and said, "You'll understand when you grow up."
