The King of Darkness was initially startled, then burst into loud laughter. "You? Ridiculous! I, the King of Darkness, have reigned supreme for years, how could you defeat me so easily!" His eyes were full of disdain and arrogance, as if he didn't take the mysterious figure seriously at all.

The mysterious figure ignored the King of Darkness's mockery. He slowly raised his hands, and beams of golden light shot from them, weaving into a gigantic golden net in the air. The net exuded a sacred aura, causing the King of Darkness to frown involuntarily.

"What the hell is this!" the King of Darkness roared, waving his hands, attempting to destroy the golden net with his Dark Power. However, the golden net seemed to have a life of its own, automatically evading the attacks and continuing to envelop the King of Darkness.

Lin Yu watched this scene, shouting excitedly, "Great! Trap him, leave him no escape!" His heart was filled with hope, as if he could already see the King of Darkness defeated.

Shen Jingqi grinned widely, "Haha, let's see how arrogant he can be now!" He brandished his dagger a few times, as if cheering for the imminent victory.

Li Baiyu stared intently at the golden net, silently praying in her heart, "It has to succeed, it must trap him." She knew this was the critical moment to defeat the King of Darkness, and there could be no mistake.

The man clenched his fists, a determined look in his eyes, "Come on, we believe in you!" He quietly cheered for the mysterious figure, also ready to support at any moment.

The golden net closed in, and the King of Darkness began to panic. He unleashed a frenzied attack, with Dark Power pouring out like a torrential downpour, but still, the golden net steadily approached him.

"No! This is impossible!" the King of Darkness roared in despair. He tried to turn and run but found the surrounding area sealed by the golden net, with no escape route.

Just as the golden net was about to envelop the King of Darkness, suddenly, a more powerful force of darkness erupted from him. This power, like a nuclear burst, instantly ripped a large hole in the golden net. The King of Darkness seized the opportunity to escape through the opening, standing afar with heaving breaths and eyes full of hatred.

The King of Darkness roared ferociously, surrounded by a dense fog of darkness, obscuring his expression.

The mysterious figure looked at the torn golden net, furrowing his brow slightly, "I didn't expect your Dark Power to be so strong, to break through my seal." He was somewhat surprised, but remained composed.

Shen Jingqi cursed, "This guy is really tough!" He gripped his dagger tightly, ready to charge again, if only to inflict some damage on the King of Darkness.

Li Baiyu's hands trembled slightly, "What do we do? His Dark Power is too strong, we don't seem to be his match." Her heart was filled with despair, sensing that the hope of victory was fading.

The man took a deep breath, trying to stay calm, "Don't panic, we still have a chance. Since the mysterious figure showed up, there must be a way to deal with him." He tried to comfort everyone with his words, and to bolster his own courage as well.

The King of Darkness sneered, "Today, you all must die!" Saying this, he brought his hands together and began chanting. Suddenly, the entire castle started shaking violently; the ground cracked open with huge fissures from which black lava erupted.

"This is bad! He's trying to destroy this place, we must run!" Lin Yu shouted. His eyes filled with fear as he pulled Li Baiyu, rushing towards the castle's exit.

Shen Jingqi quickly reacted, helping the injured Lin Yu, following the group in a dash to get out of the castle. The mysterious figure stayed behind them, waving his hands to create a barrier of golden light, attempting to block the spreading black lava.

"You all go first, I'll hold him off!" shouted the mysterious figure. His voice carried an air of determination, as if he were ready to make sacrifices.

Lin Yu glanced back at the mysterious figure, his heart filled with gratitude and guilt, "No, we can't leave you!" He wanted to stop but was pulled away by Shen Jingqi.

"Don't be a fool! We'll only hold him back if we stay, let's get out first!" Shen Jingqi said loudly, his eyes showing resolve, knowing this wasn't the time for emotional actions.

Everyone ran desperately towards the outside of the castle, with black lava and the King of Darkness's roars echoing behind them. As they finally exited the castle and looked back, they saw it engulfed entirely by the black lava, turning into a sea of fire.

"That mysterious figure, could he have already…" Li Baiyu said chokingly, tears brimming in her eyes, filled with sorrow and self-blame.

Lin Yu bowed his head, remaining silent. His heart was a whirlwind of emotions, feeling both sad for the mysterious figure's sacrifice and guilty for not being able to help. "Why did he save us? Who is he really?" These questions spun endlessly in his mind, but he could find no answers.

Shen Jingqi patted Lin Yu on the shoulder, "Don't be sad, maybe he found a way out. What we need to think about now is what to do next." His eyes showed determination, knowing they couldn't dwell in sorrow forever.

The man looked at the burning castle, his brow furrowed, "Though the King of Darkness is temporarily trapped, he's not going to give up easily. We must quickly strengthen ourselves to prepare for his next attack." His heart filled with worry, knowing their path ahead was long and fraught with unknown dangers.

Just then, a golden beam of light streaked across the sky, slowly descending—it was the mysterious figure. Though he looked somewhat weary, there were no visible wounds on him.

"You...you're alive!" Lin Yu exclaimed in surprise, his eyes wide open, unable to believe what he was seeing.

Shen Jingqi also jumped up excitedly, "Great! It's so good that you're okay!" A beaming smile spread across his face, his worries instantly dissipating.

Li Baiyu wiped her tears, speaking excitedly, "It's good that you're alright. We all thought you..." Her words were cut off by the mysterious figure.

"I'm fine. Though the King of Darkness is strong, defeating me isn't that easy," the mysterious figure said with a smile. His smile gave off a sense of warmth and reassurance.

The man stepped forward gratefully, "Thank you for saving us. Who exactly are you? Why do you look like us, yet possess such incredible power?" He finally voiced the question lingering in his mind.
