  Chapter 2748 Firebird Land (fifty-six)

The members of Pomona and the Potions Club picked the shrunken figs that had just been picked, and after packing each one, they called a taxi flying carpet and asked the driver to take it to St. Mungo's Hospital in London.

Since the news of Voldemort's resurrection was confirmed, the demand for euphoria has increased rapidly, and St. Mungo's Hospital is even willing to pay twice the usual price for shrunken figs.

Of course the school collected the money, although Pomona was the one who planted the figs and picked and packed them.

"It's time for me to raise my salary." She watched the flying carpet fly away, patted the ashes on her hands and body, and returned to the greenhouse office. The books she placed on the table were obviously flipped.

This is a book that introduces black potions. The author of the book wrote at the beginning that anyone who reads this book is not allowed to work as an Auror or a memory canceller. This passage was crossed out in black ink up.

Pomona can’t do this kind of thing. She likes to use various colored stickers on the book when she was studying. It can be used as a bookmark and write down her thoughts and feelings at that time. If there is a change, she can tear off the sticker. Put the new sticker back on. This resulted in her books being clean even if they were old, without worrying about graffiti on them.

"It's you again, Severus!" She closed the book and walked aggressively towards Greenhouse 1.

She originally wanted to use the secret path, but obviously she didn’t need it. The “culprit” was reading in the secret study room, and he only lit a candle while reading.

"When did you come out?" asked Pomona, lighting the other candles.

Now the secret study room is more and more like a library, with several more bookshelves, and a restricted book area. A terrifying relief is on the shelf in the restricted book area.

Of course it is not just for scaring people, even if the students sneak into the secret study by chance, they are not afraid of them holding the books on that shelf.

"Not long after you started to 'harvest'." He put down the book in his hand and looked back at her.

"What are you doing?" she asked warily.

He stood up and approached her smiling.

   "Turn your pockets inside out."

Pomona pouted, and took out two shrunken figs from her pocket.

   "Dog nose!" she muttered.

Severus was in good spirits "appreciating" her stash of figs, his favorite fruit.

"What were you going to do?" he said cheerfully.

"How can you scribble on someone else's book!" She took out the book that was outlined in black.

"Because he's so ridiculous." Severus said contemptuously, "What do you mean you can't be an Auror after reading that book?"

"Are you going to be an Auror?" Pomona asked.

"Of course." Severus smiled maliciously, "That's my dream job."

If Pomona had been Gryffindor, he would have rushed over and punched him twice at this time.

"What are you going to do with it?" Pomona asked, pointing to the fig in his hand, "Make a potion? Or eat it?"

"A potion master remembered by history, there will always be a potion that people can't resist." Severus whispered.

"Isn't wolfjuice good enough?" asked Pomona.

"It's not irresistible." He put down the fruit in his hand and put it on the table beside him, "You smell like figs all over you."

She raised her sleeve and smelled it, and there was indeed a fig smell, which may have been picked up when she picked the fruit.

"The fruit is 6 gold Galleons each, and I shared it with others." She admitted generously, "Besides, we planted the fruit tree."

"What were you talking about?" Severus asked.

"The topic between the children, did Hermione kiss Krum, Dean Thomas and Ginny quarreled." She said indifferently, "You never believe what Dean is thinking?"

"What?" He seemed to ask casually.

"The Dark Lord wins Slughorn, and Slughorn wins Ginny, so that he can win Arthur, because she is the only girl in the Weasley family." Pomona smiled and shook his head, "He It's really imaginative."

  Severus didn't speak.

"So he didn't want Ginny to join the Slug Club anymore, but Ginny felt like he didn't feel invited by Slughorn."

"And she plans to dump Dean Thomas for a boyfriend?" Severus said.

   "Who?" Pomona asked in surprise.

   "Who else?" He sneered.

In fact, it is not without such rumors, but rumors are rumors after all...

   "Harry Potter?" Pomona asked.

"No wonder Molly always wanted a daughter."

Pomona thought it was impossible, how could Molly expect her daughter to marry Harry?

Although they were really married, the Potter family's property and Black's old house belonged to Ginny.

   "Why not?" Severus asked.

"She doesn't like Dean Thomas that much." Pomona shook her head, "Look at Tonks and Lupine..."

   "That's different," Severus said.

"Then why did she date Dean?" Pomona walked up and down the study with her hips akimbo. "To get close to Harry? Dean Thomas shares a dorm with him."

The more she thought about it, the more likely it was. Ginny was not old enough, so she agreed to Neville's invitation to attend the Christmas Ball of the Triwizard Tournament.

Ron was wearing a frightening, old, lace-covered gown that looked archaeologically found, while Ginny's dress was new.

"So, everyone's betting on it, isn't it?" Pomona looked at Severus. "Did McLaggen repeat a grade to graduate with Harry?"

"Probably because he's worried about the newt exams in seventh year," Severus said oilily.

"Oh, you don't know, 'My dad went hunting with the minister'." Pomona imitated McLaggen's tone and said, "What else is he worried about grades."

   "Nothing else?" Severus asked.

   "Anything else?" Pomona asked rhetorically.

  He hesitated to speak.

"Andre Egwu." Severus said softly, "About his disappearance."

Andre Egwu joined the Department of Magical Beasts Protection after graduation. He himself wanted to join the professional league like Wood, but he dismissed the idea when he heard that Wood had been working as a substitute.

He was a substitute on the Ravenclaw house team, although he had a good enclave, and later he wanted to join the Department of Magical Sports and Sports, but Ludo Bagman ran away because of debts, and the Department of Sports was in chaos. The patrollers of the Jin Snidget Reserve took a fancy to his flying ability, so he became a member of the Beast Office.

Many Aurors are trained and recruited after they have work experience in the Ministry of Magic. This is how Random became an Auror.

Andre Egwu's Muggle studies grade was o, and some insights even surpassed his classmates from the Muggle world.

"There are rumors, but no one is afraid." Pomona said calmly, "It's nothing to be afraid of."

   Severus stared at her.

"I have no problem here, look at your godson, he looks nervous." Pomona said.

   "Lucius is under arrest."

Pomona remembered that Lucius Malfoy was in court, and the photos of Draco, mother and son had been published in the newspapers.

The news of Egwu's disappearance just occupied a corner with other missing members of the Ministry of Magic.

===================================================== =============

When the war ended, Andre Egwu, his sister Jules, and his parents returned from Japan. It turned out that he was not really "missing", but chose to hide like many people. After arriving in the British magical society, they would publish a statement in the newspaper, and Pomona saw the news in the freshly published Evening Prophet.

When the war started, Jules was just of school age. Her parents decided not to send her to Hogwarts or other wizarding schools, but to educate herself. Students are no different.

Pomona shifted his attention from the newspaper to Sir Bacon's essay collection. He mentioned the goddess of rumors described by Virgil. It is said that because the Earth Mother hated the gods for imprisoning the Titans, she gave birth to her.

Rumors are the legacy of past rebellions and the prelude to future rebellions. Even the best measures that are commendable and should win the hearts of the people will be distorted and maliciously understood by rumors.

What's more, some words are not rumors.

Rita Kistor is promoting her new book again, the title is "Saint or Villain". The saint, of course, refers to Severus Snape, who loved Lily deeply.

Bacon believed that there is an end to pain, but fear does not.

But she felt it was the other way around.

   "Pomona!"

She heard a living person calling her.

"Here we come!" She replied in a cheerful voice, and then blanked out the newspaper that the owl had just delivered.
