Mr. Grant Treats Me Like a Treasure-Chapter 521 - 520: Unyielding
"It won’t be mine!"
At the Sterling family’s banquet, Mr. Sterling did not dare to acknowledge her; henceforth, he wouldn’t need to anymore.
"Miss Sullivan!"
Felicity Sterling did not believe Serena Sullivan’s words. How could someone, who grew up without a biological father, not desire to know who he is once discovered?
"I’ll give you some time to consider."
Trading a boyfriend for a father, Serena Sullivan refused this deal.
She picked up the glass of lemonade in front of her and drank, too lazy to respond to Felicity Sterling’s words.
Seeing Serena Sullivan ignore her, Felicity Sterling finished the dessert on the table, grabbed her purse, stood up, and prepared to leave.
"Miss Sterling."
Serena Sullivan looked at her back and said, "Ethan Grant won’t like you."
"How would you know if you haven’t tried?"
Felicity Sterling stubbornly replied, "As long as I’m with him, ten years, twenty years, I will eventually make him like me."
Serena Sullivan froze; how could Felicity Sterling’s feelings for Ethan Grant be deep, even if they’ve met?
"He won’t."
Serena Sullivan confidently said again, "There are plenty of men more outstanding than him in the Imperial Capital. You’ll meet better ones in the future. My advice is, don’t cling to this tree."
Besides, the Ethan Grant tree is rotten.
She didn’t understand why Felicity Sterling had to be fixated on Ethan Grant, especially when Zoe Quinn had already figured it out and turned to Sean Lockwood.
People being too stubborn is not a good thing.
After Serena Sullivan’s words, Felicity Sterling was stunned for a while, then quietly said, "But you like him," and left.
Serena Sullivan didn’t hear the last words from Felicity Sterling clearly. Her attention was caught by the man outside the window, watching as he moved slowly towards the café.
When Felicity Sterling opened the door, she saw Ethan Grant walking towards her, a smile appeared on her face.
"Mr. Grant!"
She happily called, her eyes sparkling brightly.
Ethan Grant once again ignored her; his gaze was fixed directly on Serena Sullivan inside the café, walking past Felicity Sterling and went inside.
Felicity Sterling wanted to call Ethan Grant again, but he completely ignored her. No matter how much she called, it only led to humiliation in the end.
She stood outside the café’s glass door, watching Ethan Grant approach Serena Sullivan and then stop.
He didn’t move further; she couldn’t see his face.
Felicity Sterling just knew that at this moment, Ethan Grant’s eyes were full of Serena Sullivan, only her.
Ethan Grant loved Serena Sullivan deeply. Having heard their story, she knew she had no chance.
But, so what!
It’s been over three hours since their morning meeting, Serena Sullivan thought Ethan Grant had left. At the very least, he’d sleep and then reappear.
But, he actually just went out for a spin and returned.
"Didn’t you go to sleep?"
Serena Sullivan asked.
Ethan Grant stared blankly at Serena Sullivan, not answering.
When she wasn’t around, he couldn’t sleep all night long. To prevent himself from becoming depressed and ill, he forced himself to sleep for a few hours.
Now that she’s back, he dared not sleep even more.
Afraid that with a blink, she would disappear again.
"Where do you want to go?"
Ethan Grant asked.
Serena Sullivan curled her lips into a smile; she understood this man’s temper too well. No matter how angry he was with her, he couldn’t bear to lose her.
Having gone through so many things, she didn’t want to waste time.
If she liked him, she’d start; if she didn’t, she’d end.
If she wanted to end it, and he wanted to continue, then she would give him a chance.
In this lifetime, meeting someone who loves you dearly is not easy.
