Mr. Grant Treats Me Like a Treasure-Chapter 469 - 468: Go to Hell
"I’ll push you out for a walk."
The voice was cold, devoid of any warmth.
Serena Sullivan’s heart tightened. She raised her hand wanting to stop it, the feeling of fainting rushed over her again, "I won’t go!"
Finally, she said those three words.
The servant didn’t heed her words, pushing Serena out.
The villa is equipped with an elevator, so after pushing Serena downstairs, she carefully avoided all the surveillance here.
After exiting, she didn’t head down the flat path but pushed Serena down a winding path overgrown with grass. The end of the path led to the seaside.
This island was surrounded by sea water; the closer they got, the clearer the sound of the sea hitting the shore was. Just moments ago, she was thinking of seeing the sea, and now a servant was pushing her towards it.
But was it really just a seaside walk?
No, Serena knew death was coming toward her.
She habitually touched her wrist, having left Solaria fearing Finn Chandler would locate her, discarded the watch.
This moment...
Serena bit her tongue with all her might, blood emerged, the pain pulling her back from a state of dizziness. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝙚𝔀𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝒐𝒎
She turned her head to look at the servant rapidly pushing her towards the sea, asking, "Who are you?"
Abandoning life-saving surgery and waiting for death is one thing, but being thrown into the sea to feed sharks is another!
Who wants her dead!
Thinking of this, Serena suddenly remembered the car accident four years ago.
She knew the accident wasn’t a coincidence, had been investigating, but still hadn’t found the mastermind.
Now, someone else was making a move against her!
Could it be the same person!
The person behind her didn’t answer, her eyes behind a mask gleamed with excitement as she saw the sea ahead.
Die!
"You want me dead so badly!"
Serena asked again in a low voice, feeling pain though her body was too weak.
Her legs were paralyzed! She had no strength, could faint at any moment, simply no match for the person behind.
She didn’t even have the strength to shout!
This version of her was truly useless!
However, to die like this, she was unwilling!
"Do we know each other?"
Serena continued asking, trying to get information from the servant behind.
"You hate me!"
...
Still met with silence, suddenly the servant gave her wheelchair a ruthless push, and Serena rolled directly onto the beach.
If her legs weren’t crippled, even in a dazed state, Serena wouldn’t have let herself be chopped up.
Now, she was lying on the ground unable to get up, facing incoming waves, drinking a few mouthfuls as she crawled towards the shore.
She crawled forward with all her might, hadn’t crawled far when a pair of shoes entered her view, one foot kicking over, pushing Serena further into the sea.
The person clearly found this insufficient, after seeing Serena choking a few mouthfuls of seawater, as she crawled forward again, gave another kick.
Serena realized it; this woman not only wanted her dead, but wanted to humiliate her too.
Soaked in the water, Serena lifted her head to look at the woman.
The woman wore a mask, face hidden, but those eyes, Serena found familiar.
"Mr. Sterling wants to save me, you’re scared?"
Serena thought and thought, only her background could make people apprehensive enough to want her dead.
The woman said nothing, coldly smirked, walked towards Serena again, kicking her further into the depths.
"Go to hell!"
The cold and vicious voice sounded, Serena paused within the water, staring fixedly at the woman’s eyes from beneath the surface.
