In a swift second, we arrived at the mansion.

I made the swords in my hand disappear as I paid complete attention to what Elektra was telling me.

What seemed like many seconds later,

"What? All these things happened when I was in the abyss?".

’Yes, Clara. So, if Doctor Rebecca is done with the investigation, she is going to call us and report the results to us. Unfortunately, the news about demons existing would soon circulate. And I know that the news will not only circulate in the shadows’ pack, but the news will also circulate in other packs and the human cities. People and werewolves are going to panic, Clara. Everyone is going to panic’.

I could only sigh in defeat as I listened to what Elektra said. I thought about it and knew that she was correct.

Everyone is going to panic.

I stared at Anders, and as I glanced at the bag of blood in his hand, I thought, ’I should be able to heal his wolf’s body using my light magic. But, he still needs that blood. My light magic can not possibly supply blood to his body’.

I looked up ahead when I sensed a familiar presence.

It was Lady Valerie, and behind her were Mara and Maya.

They arrived at the place where I stood before they stopped walking and greeted me.

’When I was in the abyss, Lady Valerie, did she-’.

’No. It’s just now she and these two are coming’. Elektra replied to me before I could finish mind - linking her.

"You came late, Lady Valerie". I said to her.

"I apologize, Alpha Anastasia". She apologized to me.

"Mara, Maya, do you mind going to the guests’ mansions and informing the president to meet me here quickly?".

"Not at all, Alpha Anastasia". They replied to me and left immediately to do as I had ordered them.

After Mara and Maya left, Lady Valerie stared at me from time to time. She had a troubled look on her face, making me know that something was bothering her, but she didn’t have the courage to tell me about it.

’Ha. If she didn’t have the courage to tell me, then she shouldn’t have looked at me’. I thought.

"What is it, Lady Valerie? Is something bugging you? Do you have something important to tell me? If I were you, you would tell me about it quickly, because the minute President Michael gets here, I am going to leave for the human cities with him in an instant". I told her, and she finally looked me in the eyes without averting her gaze from me this time.

She placed her right hand on her chest and lowered her head at me as she said, "I shouldn’t bring this up, but she begged me to".

My brows furrowed, as I could not understand what Lady Valerie meant by that.

"Go on, and look at me". I ordered her.

She lifted her head, and staring at me, she began to explain, "Most of this morning, I have been on a phone call with your aunt".

"My aunt? Do you mean elder Penelope?". I asked her.

"No. Your other aunt. Your mom’s twin sister". Lady Valerie replied to me and my face darkened on its own.

"Her? I don’t want to hear anything about her again, and that’s final". I ordered Lady Valerie before I clenched my fists.

I don’t want to hear anything about that woman.

Soon, Mara and Maya returned with President Michael, his pilots and his six bodyguards following him closely.

I walked towards them. "Let’s go". I said without hesitation.

I could teleport us to the human cities, but what about their helicopters? Although my light magic has become stronger, I don’t think I am strong enough to teleport myself, Anders, Fireball, Irving, President Michael, his six bodyguards, his pilots and the two helicopters.

President Michael nodded at me. His helicopters weren’t far from where we stood, so he gestured to me to follow him, probably to enter his helicopter.

"No need. I can manage on my own. But he is going to stay in the helicopter with you". I said to President Michael, and, using my mind - link, I told Anders, ’Go and enter the helicopter with them’.

Everyone entered the helicopter.

Anders entered the same helicopter as President Michael, and as both helicopters left the ground and were up in the sky, I turned to Lady Valerie, who had come to my side and stood beside me.

"Are you with your cell phone here, lady Valerie?". I asked her.

"Yes, Alpha Anastasia". She replied to me and I extended my palm to her, indicating that she should place her cell phone on my palm.

She took out her cell phone from her long coral dress pocket and handed it to me.

I returned the cell phone to her after I had put and saved my phone number in her contact list.

"While I am away, you should ensure that things are well organized. If there are any emergencies, just call me and I will return without delay". I said to Lady Valerie, and picking up Fireball and Irving in my arms, I flew up and followed the helicopters.

’You didn’t teleport everyone to the human cities because you are not sure if you could do that, right, Clara? But you should have only teleported yourself, Anders, Fireball and Irving to the human cities and waited for the president to reach there with his helicopters’. Elektra said to me.

She was right.

I could do that if I wanted to.

But, flying was not such a bad idea either. Flying up in the sky, I get to see what most werewolves and humans can’t see or spot in time when they are on the ground.

I could even see unforeseen dangers. So, flying was not so bad after all.
