Mountain Sitting Immortal-Chapter 749: Three Ancestors.

They were holding the meeting right above the mothership, but the people below couldn't see them or what they were saying. All fifteen of them stood in a circle in the air.

Of the three ancestors, one of them is an ancestor that Sword Flash, Lady Evergreen, and Thunder Drake have never seen before. This is because this ancestor is the oldest ancestor of the Blood Skull sect still alive. He is also the strongest ancestor still alive.

This ancestor's name is Daoist Bladed Hemlock. He cultivates the Everlasting Wood Art, which is why he can outlast other ancestors and live for so long.

His cultivation of the Everlasting Wood Art is also why he is a green humanoid tree. His torso is a thick trunk, and he possesses tiny, cute leaves swinging on his tiny branches.

He looks largely humanoid, but he has some features that will make other humans not consider him a human. These features are the two extra eyes on his face, the gills on his neck, and the purple scales covering a large portion of the surface of his body.

The oldest ancestor, Bladed Hemlock, said to Sword Flash and the other two, "You have done well with the sect in our absence. I'm impressed and happy with what you've accomplished."

Sword Flash bowed briefly as a sign of respect and said, "Our success is largely due to the hard work and sacrifice of the ancestors that came before us."

Bladed Hemlock chuckled and said, "It seems you're good at flattery, too."

Sky Eel smiled and said with pride, "Don't mind him. He is good at a lot of things except a compliment."

These words made Thunder Drake cough violently as if he were dying. This made Sky Eel roll his eyes and say, "Stop being dramatic. Say what you want to say!"

Thunder Drake spoke as if he were being forced as he said, "Since you demand that I speak, I'll have to say that Sword Flash has become pretty shameless when it comes to receiving compliments. He even taught his three disciples to clap for him whenever he did something impressive. He will act modestly while they stand up and applaud him whenever he starts bragging. He will..."

Thunder Drake wanted to list out other shameless things that Sword Flash had done for praise, but Sword Flash interrupted him and said without hesitation, "Lies. Utter nonsense."

Then he said with a pained expression, "Junior brother, jealousy isn't a good look on you. Even if you're jealous of me, you shouldn't try to slander me like this."

Thunder Drake's eye twitched, but he didn't argue with Sword Flash. Instead, he said innocently, "I was just joking, elder brother."

Sword Flash said sternly to him, "Next time, you should make it more obvious that you were joking. You were so serious earlier that people might just believe you and not know that you were jesting."

Bladed Hemlock saw this exchange and said to Sky Eel, "It seems you're wrong. This disciple of yours appears to be good at everything, including taking compliments."

Sky Eel sneered and said, "I suspect that he is a little too good at taking and extorting compliments."

Sword Flash heard this and glared at Thunder. He didn't speak, but his face said, "This is all your fault. Just you wait. I'll teach you a lesson."

Thunder Drake also didn't speak. But his smug face and the smile tugging at his lips said, "I regret nothing. Master is here now, so you can't do anything to me."

Pink Dandelion shook her head at the sight and said, "Jokes aside, you guys have done well with the place. The energy in the sect has improved to rank 5, and the number of golden core cultivators trying to advance to the fifth mortal coil at a time has increased from one to four."

"These are all impressive achievements. I am only worried that Evergreen didn't help in achieving this. She is just too troublesome."

Then she said to Sword Flash, "I hope Evergreen didn't cause you too much trouble or hold you back."

Before Sword Flash could reply, Lady Evergreen snorted and said to her master, "No one asked for your opinion, master. If you don't have anything good to say, maybe you shouldn't speak."

She said the word "master" through gritted teeth as if it hurt her to say that word. But she was happy with herself for the other things that she said.

However, the reaction of her master was opposite her's. Her words made the small face on the stalk of Pink Dandelion's face twist in anger as she said, "I can still beat you, young lady. If you dare to test me, I will turn you over right here and now and smack your buttocks in front of everyone. When I'm done with your buttocks, it will be in tatters."

Lady Evergreen wasn't cowed by the threat at all. Instead of backing down, she sneered and said, "You're resorting to violence again. I'm not surprised because that's all you know how to do. You're not ladylike at all. You're more like a barbarian."

Sky Eel quickly intervened before they could continue to argue, and things could escalate to blows. He said, "Let's calm down. The matter at hand right now is to determine how to support this invasion, not how to fight among ourselves."
