Everyone became quiet and listened attentively to what Sword Flash was saying. Their silence made his voice reach into every corner of the mothership, so everyone could hear what he was say clearly.

He said, "You should take this time to rest. You will need the rest because we will be invading the home world of the gem people soon."

Some people groaned when they heard that they would be going on another campaign soon, so Sword Flash said, "Don’t worry, the campaign won’t be for at least ten more years. We need time to prepare for invading a large world that is several times bigger and more powerful than Aries."

"Also, you won’t be forced to go on the campaign with us. This campaign will be voluntary. We won’t need everyone in the sect because the Blood Skull sect won’t be the only ones going on the campaign."

What he said made everyone confused, so he explained to them, "If you noticed, we don’t have enough manpower to conquer a world. We had to use golems and plant puppets to supplement our troops. If we hadn’t done this, more than 30% of all of you would have died in Aries."

They were still cheering as the bay doors were opened and everyone filed out of the Mothership. It was after everyone had gone that the underground space regained its silence.

The three patriarchs were the only ones in the underground cavern. Unlike the soldiers who could call it a day after the end of the campaign, they still had more work to do.

The three of them met for a meeting. Lady Evergreen came with her plant avatar, while Thunder Drake and Sword Flash came with their true bodies.

Thunder Drake came with his true body in order to experience the meeting in person. Since his main goal was to gloat, he felt that coming with an avatar would dull the experience.

He grinned at Lady Evergreen and asked, "What do you have to say for yourself now that we passed the leadership assessment and not failed as you expected?"

She replied with an annoyed tone, "I didn’t say that I expected us to fail. In fact, I wanted us to pass. I just said that I would leave if we failed the leadership assessment."

Thunder Drake sneered at her and asked, "What about your thoughts about how you think this isn’t enough to buy your obedience?"

Lady Evergreen knew what he was after by asking her so many pointed questions. She didn’t want to give him the pleasure he was seeking, so she ignored him and turned to Sword Flash and changed the subject.

She asked Sword Flash, "So what next?"

Sword Flash didn’t answer her question. Instead, he chuckled and asked her, "How can you not be happy with our great victory?"

Her eyes twitched in annoyance as she answered the question, saying, "I am happy."

Sword Flash continued to press her by asking, "Then why don’t you show it?"

She jabbed a finger in Thunder Drake’s direction as she said, "Because he will take it as a sign of victory over me and make me regret showing my happiness."

Then she turned to Thunder Drake and said with disdain, "Look at him. It is clear that he is fully prepared to make fun of me."

What she said made Thunder Drake begin to laugh. His laughter boomed and resounded throughout the underground cavern like thunder. It was clear that he was enjoying himself.

Sword Flash smiled and said, "Fine. You make good points. So I’ll let you go."

Then he answered her question, "What we need to do now is go to the League of World Eaters to receive our reward for passing the leadership assessment. Then I will submit the spatial coordinates of the homeworld of the gem people to the League of World Eaters for review."

"After the review has been passed, we will get the permission to invade them. Since we already have information about their homeworld from soul searching so many gem people, we won’t need to scout their world. We can invade them as soon as possible."
