After working with leystones for so long, they have become familiar with its rhythms and vibrations to know that the leystone had connected to a location that is very far away from them.

This makes the connection of this leystone a very serious matter that warrants silence and solemnity.

Thunder Drake looked at the leystone and said with certainty, "It is connecting to a world beyond Aries. How come?"

The answer to his question popped up in Lady Evergreen’s mind. What she thought of made her eyes light up as she asked, "Could it be?"

Sword Flash was also excited at the prospect. He nodded his head many times and said, "It could be."

But as the fluctuations intensified, he changed his mind and said, "No. It definitely is what we are thinking of."

Soon, a connection was made between the leystone in front of them and the one far away. Sword Flash didn’t think twice about what to do. He quickly accepted the request and fully established the connection. This made the face of a gem person appear on the large leystone.

But before any talking could be done, Sword Flash plunged his spiritual sense into the leystone and let it reach the other side. Then he began using his mind to perceive the spatial coordinates of the world, the other leystone is.

The process was as if he had put his arm into a tunnel and was using the fingers of his hands to sense the unknown object on the other side of the tunnel.

Just like the hand possesses the sense of touch and can be used to determine the texture of an object and its identity, the spiritual sense possesses spatial sense and can be used to determine the undulations of space and its coordinates. It will just take time to get all the parameters he needs to complete the spatial coordinates.

If the connection is severed halfway before he is done, he won’t be able to get what he needs to figure out the spatial coordinates. So what he needs to do now is to maintain the connection for as long as possible.

The gem person on the other side didn’t know what he was doing, so they were still calm and not in a hurry.

The gem person asked you, "Are you in charge of the invasion of the world of Aries?"

The gem person directed the question to Sword Flash because only he could be seen. The other two patriarchs had cloaked themselves with their spiritual sense.

Sword Flash couldn’t reply with his spiritual sense because it was currently busy. Fortunately, he knew the language of the gem people and could speak it, so he could still reply.

He said, "Yes, I am. And who might you be?"

The gem person was both surprised by his reply and his question. So their tone was full of unconcealed surprise as they said, "You know our language. I didn’t expect that."

Sword Flash replied, "It is our culture to try and learn how to communicate with the people we meet, regardless of how we meet them and where they are from."

The gem person nodded in understanding and said, "I see. That is a good attitude to have."

Then he replied to the questions, "I am Gem Noble Quartzite, and I have been placed in charge of a diplomatic mission to negotiate with you."

Sword Flash frowned and asked, "Gem noble? Isn’t that your third step of ascension?"

This question also surprised the gem person. He said with an impressed tone, "It seems you’ve learned a lot about us. I am impressed."

Sword Flash replied modestly, "It is just normal."

The gem person was still impressed despite what he said because gem people rarely learn the language of the people they are fighting or their culture. But since Sword Flash didn’t want to dwell on it, he also didn’t speak about how Sword Flash had learned so much about them anymore.

He replied to Sword Flash’s questions, "You are right. I am at the third step of ascension. To be exact, I am at the peak of the third step."

"Beneath me are the gem soldiers and the gem commoners, while above me are the gem kings and gem emperors."

The gem person didn’t mention that there was a gem god above the gem emperors because he didn’t want to expose all of their capabilities to a potential person.

But what he didn’t know was that he didn’t need to mention the gem god. Sword Flash had learned more than their language and culture.

Sword Flash didn’t become satisfied that his suspicions had been proven right. He frowned even more as he said, "Why would a gem noble be the one tasked to lead a diplomatic mission with a new race capable of taking down your gem kings? Where are your gem emperors? Am I not worthy of communicating with your gem emperors?"

The gem person tried to ease the situation by saying, "I’m sure that is not the case. I was not told why I was put in charge of this mission, but I doubt it is because you are not worthy."

Sword Flash didn’t care that a gem emperor wasn’t the one trying to negotiate with him. If he were truly being looked down on, he would make sure that the gem emperors regret their decision to do so when he invades their world.

So he changed the subject and asked, "So what do you want to negotiate for?"

Quartzite replied, "I have many things that I have been told to try to acquire from you. We are willing to pay for them and we will pay a worthy price."

Sword Flash said, "Go on, I’m listening."

His reply emboldened Quartzite, so he became enthusiastic as he said, "The first thing I’ve been asked to retrieve is the heart cores of the seven gem kings that you took down."

Sword Flash fell silent and pretended to think for a while. After spending a few seconds to delay the conversation, he said, "I see. What else do you want to ask for?"
