There are three factions in the world of Aries. They are the new nobles of the Vulcan race with the Sun King, the old nobles of the Tundra race who descend from the dead Snow King, and the people who hate foreigners.

The xenophobic people are called the rebels. They hated the Sun King for siding with the gem people and not protecting their world from exploitation.

These people don’t know that it was the Sun King who actually allowed the gem people into the world. If they knew, they would hate him even more. But their hatred for him has been enough to refuse to respect him and not obey him.

However, when the Sun King called the whole world to gather to fight the new invaders, the usually disobedient rebels obeyed him. They appeared from where they used to hide and gathered in large numbers. 𝑓𝘳𝘦𝑒𝑤𝑒𝘣𝘯ℴ𝘷𝘦𝓁.𝑐𝑜𝑚

The rebels had always wanted to gather the forces of the whole world to resist the gem people. Even though they aren’t going to fight the gem people now, they are satisfied as long as they get to fight foreigners.

Of the three factions, the new nobles were the strongest. This was because they had the Sovereign of the world on their side. But they lacked the advantage of numbers.

The rebels were the second strongest. They had the most people, but lacked a way to match the power of a Sovereign.

The rebels were made up of Vulcans and Tundra, who usually hate each other. But now that they could direct their hatred onto a third party that they all hated, their hatred became productive.

The new nobles and the rebels combined to create an army of millions with a powerhouse like the Sun King on their side. On the other side, the old nobles could only field an army of a hundred thousand.

The size of the army of the old nobles was partly because most of them had died when the Sun King became Sovereign. The second most important reason why not so many people showed up to fight for them now is that not many people want to fight on the side of the foreigners.

The old nobles knew that it was the Sun King who made way for the gem people, so they thought that it was a good idea to bring in foreigners to fight for them. But after the foreigners arrived, they began to regret their decision because the whole world hated the foreigners.

The Sun King didn’t know what he was doing when he created a passage for the gem people to enter his world, so he regretted what he did a little bit. The old nobles knew what they were doing when they contacted the world of Ethera for help, but they didn’t know that allowing foreigners into their world would mean the death of the world spirit.

The killing of the world spirit is why everyone in the world of Aries is willing to die to defend their world. The world spirit was constantly crying every day, telling its children to save it. So even the rebels would have come out to fight if they weren’t xenophobic.

With the world spirit constantly crying for help, no self-respecting old noble was willing to fight for the side to kill their world spirit. Only the greedy ones, hungry for power and the position of Sovereign, were willing to continue working with the Blood Skull army.

But no matter how enthusiastic the leaders of the faction of the old nobles are, their followers and descendants are not too keen on fighting their fellow people for foreigners who are killing the mother of the world.

Nothing the Blood Skull army could say could change their minds. The three patriarchs told them that what they were doing was going to make the world stronger, and the inhabitants of the world would be able to acquire the power of the Sovereign on their own.

Even though they could tell that this claim wasn’t a lie after they were exposed to mana and enjoyed its benefits, they still didn’t want to betray their world.

So the small army that the old nobles gathered quickly fell apart after a few days of fighting. Some of them even joined the side of the rebels. This left the Blood Skull army to fight alone against the gem people, the rebels, and the new nobles.

Arthur said to himself, "It can finally be said that it is us against the world."

As he said this, he looked up into the sky where the Sun King was looking down at them with pure malice and hatred.

Back on earth, the heat of the sun was sometimes so harsh that he and other humans joked that the sun was angry. In fact, many religions also believed in the sun and thought that it was capable of anger.

But no one could predict what a living sun with immense hatred was capable of. After witnessing the might of the Sun King, he realized that everyone back on earth was wrong when they said that the sun was angry just because of a little heat.

The Sun King is nowhere as powerful as the sun of his past life. It is at least a billion million times less powerful than the sun. But the Sun King is also a million times closer than the sun of his past life and this means a lot.

If the Sun King wasn’t actively attacking them by coming down to the earth to strike them down, he was either attacking them half heartedly by creating solar flares and sun meteors that streaked through the sky and crashed down on them, or passively attacking them by concentrating the heat of the sun onto them so as to cook them alive.

Right now, the Sun King is both passively attacking and half-heartedly attacking them. He has projected a large cone of heat onto the mobile fortresses and is constantly creating balls of fire that he drops on them.
