Mountain Sitting Immortal-Chapter 232: Explosive Confrontation.
But there were others who only saw how terrifying he was in the test from a distance. They don't even know his name.
All they know is that he is the meddlesome archer who made them perform poorly. Now that they could see him face to face, they felt that this was an opportunity to finally confront him.
In the test, they only thought his arrows were terrifying. They couldn't shoot arrows that could threaten him from across 1 kilometer, and anytime they wanted to swim over to him, he would just pick them off in the water.
They had a lot to say about what he did to them to him now that they could reach him. So they approached him to give him an earful.
It was all they could do, though. They could only talk. Anything more than that would lead to punishment.
Unfortunately, Arthur wasn't in the mood to listen. He just wanted to return to the ship and relax.
He ignored everyone and walked away calmly. They didn't like to be dismissed like this. But there was nothing they could do otherwise.
One of them got so angry that he stood in Arthur's way and blocked his path. The man spread his arm wide and said, "You have to listen to what I have to say. What you did back there was not right. You didn't have to go out of your way to harm people from across the sea. You already had beasts in your area. You shouldn't have…"
He truly had a lot to say. Which was probably why he blocked Arthur's way so that he could vent.
Arthur didn't react. He simply stopped and waited.
The man received a warning two seconds after blocking the flow of traffic. The warning came from his identity card. The sound of the notification was louder and of a higher pitch than usual. It indicated the urgency of the situation.

The man had a choice to make. He could either let Arthur and the rest of the people behind Arthur leave or he could remain in his position and risk a punishment and a cancelation of his qualifications for the examination.
Whichever choice he makes, he has three seconds to make it. If he is still constituting a nuisance three seconds after the warning, it will be taken that he has decided to be punished.
The situation was critical. The man had a lot to say. But he didn't want to lose his qualifications. So he backed down.
He sighed and retracted his arms. Then he moved to the side to let Arthur pass.
Arthur smirked and said, "You're lucky that we can't fight here. Or you would be demolished by now."
This pushed the man over the limit. He roared and punched towards Arthur.
It was sensed as soon as he decided to hurt a participant, and his actions indicated this motive. Actions were taken to resolve this threat, so the road beneath the man lit up with yellow lightning and struck the man all over.
The attack was loud and bright and fierce. But it was localized. Only the man was injured by the outburst of lightning.
Fortunately, it was a warning shot. The fact that the man was still alive and hadn't turned into ashes to be blown away by the wind is proof that he was being spared.
The man's skin had blackened, and he was injured by the lightning, but he was still alive. He was stunned and couldn't walk for a while. This was a bad thing for traffic, so the system moved to resolve the issue.
After the lightning came wind. Wind rose from the road and picked up the man. The man was raised into the air and thrown away from the road.
The man groaned loudly after landing on the ground in an embarrassed manner. Meanwhile, Arthur chuckled, feeling satisfied with himself. The slight regret he felt earlier had been washed away by the pleasure of seeing a man get punished for kicking up a fuss about his weakness.
He wasn't the only one who was feeling satisfied with themselves. Patriarch Calcetti was also feeling immense satisfaction because of the outcome of the test.
He rubbed his smooth skin and smiled. Then he said, "Arthur is much stronger than his peers. The gap is just too wide. If these old guys had known that he was a Dyson, they wouldn't have let me gamble with them."
"Unfortunately, that Brian had to go and open his big mouth, exposing that Arthur is related to the family. He even called him a bastard. What an ignorant brat. He said it as if being a bastard is an insult to someone like Arthur."
The argument had ended. It ended unpleasantly, just like how it started. Probably only Calcetti was still in a good mood after the argument.
Augustus saw that the patriarch was in a good mood, so he decided to strike while the iron was hot.
He coughed to draw Calcetti's attention and said, "So it can be said that it was a good thing that Arthur didn't have the surname of the family."
Patriarch Calcetti's good mood soured immediately. He glared at Augustus and asked, "What do you mean?"
He wanted to say that if he hadn't been stubborn and had refused to let Vena use her son to worm her way into the family, Calcetti wouldn't have been able to swindle everyone like he did. So maybe he should be granted some amnesty in the case of his poor judgment regarding Arthur.
But he couldn't say that with that glaring and glowing face looking at him. As usual, he changed the subject smoothly.
He said, "I meant that I admire you for making something good out of the bad thing that I did. I wish I had half as much wisdom as you do. You're probably the smartest person I have ever seen."
"See how you glow. You glow and shine like the resplendent sun."
