Chapter 38: Tier-6 Vs. Tier-6 – A Clash Of The Titans!
Despite the arrows sticking in him, Funavn couldn't help but be awestruck. Is that a fucking chainsword!?
Before heading could ask further questions, the moaning behind Titus stopped. Orkanus, despite losing his right hand, stood back up, wincing through the pain. Grabbing ahold of his right hand, he shook off the sword. "Aren't you supposed to stay holed in that mountain hut of yours, old geezer?"
Smirking in response, Titus taunted, "Yeah, well, how can I when a party's been delivered in front of my doorstep? So why don't we stop the talk, and boogie instead!"
Lifting the chainsword up, he began swinging at Orkanus, striking him from every angle, forcing him back. As Titus kept on swinging, Orkanus, sweating profusely, began panicking.
Shit, when will he be here!
Just then, a large rear resounded from the bushes behind Orkanus. Out jumped a beast, sporting three heads: the head of a Liona in the front, the head of an Avazin snake as the tail, and the head of a Breghost from the waist. Wielding its mighty claws, the clawed at Titus, who barely managed to deflect the attack.
Shit, it's a Mandricore!
"Ahahahah, you old fucker! How's that for fair!" Turning his head towards the Mandricore, he bowed with humility. "Sir, could you please help me here? I promise I'll add more young girls after we conquer Mithrador."
Eyes glinting, the Mandricore readied itself, crouching on its hind legs. Glancing at the smoking chainsword, Titus knew he did not have long, for the poison had damaged the chainsword considerably.
"Oh, right, this reminds me — you're nothing like the legends they say about you. I expected more oomph and a punch, but, ahahahah, you can't even hold against a Mandricore! Perhaps it's time you take a rest, old fart..."
With that, the duo began attacking Titus, the Mandricore from the left, Orkanus from the right. Now it was Titus' turn to panic.
Shit, I'm still weak...
His mind wandered back to his status screen...

Revving up the chainsword to maximum speed, he swung it upon the Mandricore. Sparks flying, it initially struggled to get past through the thick armour. Upon successfully entering the Mandricore's body though, the chainsword left the beast into two. Now crippled and smoking, Titus threw the sword away. Shocked, Orkanus could not help but slow his assault on Titus.
An action that did not go unnoticed.
Grasping his chance, Titus grabbed hold of Orkanus, clasping his skull with his bare two hands. Squealing in pain, the Urk leader tried his best to escape from the Orc's grasp. "Mercy, please, show me mercy. I-I-I swear, I won't come back again. Please, show me some mercy..."
Titus, on the other hand, simply watched. Watched the Urk's struggles with cold eyes. Watched in silence at the Urk's vain attempt to gain mercy. Watched as the Urk's struggle became less and less.
"No mercy for the damned..."
And with that, he crushed Orkanus' head into pieces.
