"I SAID STOP IT!" Tilly yelled at the top of her lungs, even though she knew perfectly well that no one could hear her. "STOP IT ALREADY, YOU DAMNED BASTARD!"

She couldn’t stand the sight that had been happening in front of her again and again.

Father Crades, that damned cannibal, would cut the baby’s flesh and eat it three times a day.

And, yes, it was Yumi’s baby.

[Kiho’s older sister.]

Tilly was forced to watch the scene happen again and again.

No matter how hard she tried, she couldn’t escape that place.

She knew it was useless, but she still tried to save the baby.

Unfortunately, she failed again and again.

[I’m going crazy...]

Tilly didn’t know how long time had passed because just shut her eyes and covered her ears the entire time...

... while crying.

It had been long since the last time she cried.

She didn’t care if the child was Yumi’s daughter.

[A baby is innocent.]

Moreover, she had long realized that children shouldn’t inherit their parents’ sins.

That was exactly why Tilly could love Kiho despite hating Yumi and Kyro.

Tilly wondered why it suddenly fell silent.

Every time that damned Father Crades would come and extract flesh from the baby, the prayer room would always be filled with the baby’s cries.

When Tilly opened her eyes, the scene that greeted her was more horrifying than usual.

That damned Father Crades was holding the poor baby by the ankle...

... and the baby’s little body was cut deeply all over.

And there were at least five grown men, dressed like nobles, kneeling below while each of them held a golden chalice. Yes, those bastards were filling their cups with the blood dripping from the infant’s wounded body.

Tilly fell sick to her stomach.

[No... how could they do this to a baby...!]

Father Crades then made an announcement. "Today is the day we feast on the flesh of the demigod born from the Moon Priestess and the Moon God!"

The damned priest and the nobles literally feasted on the baby’s body...

... ultimately killing it.

Ah.

[This was why Kiho didn’t meet his pitiful older sister.]

Before Tilly could even cry out loud, the scenery had changed again.

KIHO swallowed and unconsciously took a step back.

He was currently watching Kyro fight the Devil.

[The natural enemy of gods...]

Since Kiho was also a god himself, he felt uncharacteristically scared of the existence known as the Devil.

[It’s already dying, but it still sends me the chills.]

Kiho couldn’t describe the Devil as anything but an ’it.’

The Devil had the form of a tall and well-built man, but its entire body was decaying already. It was covered in thick black fog, as if all the bad energy in the world had gathered around it.

The thick black fog covering the Devil’s body felt like the accumulation of all the calamities in the world.

The Devil wasn’t human.

The Devil wasn’t a celestial being like gods.

The Devil was simply an ominous existence.

Kiho gulped hard, his entire body shaking uncontrollably from fear.

[That thing is really the natural enemy of gods capable of eliminating us...]

And Kyro was fighting the Devil alone.

"Let’s end this fight, child," the Devil said to Kyro. "Is there really a point in killing a dying man?"

The Devil said that after erasing half of Hell while fighting Kyro for almost a week now.

It was an almost nonstop fight.

Kyro would just rest for a few hours before attacking the Devil again.

[But come to think of it, the Devil never initiated an attack.]

It was as if the Devil was just playing along with Kyro’s "game."

[Kyro already looks exhausted, though...]

"It doesn’t matter whether you’re dying or not," Kiho said between deep breaths, pressing his hand against the long and deep cut in the chest that he got when the Devil almost ripped his heart out of his chest during their last collision. "The sooner you’re gone, the more peaceful the human world will become."

"I’ve never been to the human world for a few centuries now," the Devil said, laughing. "Has the human world truly regained peace after I was gone?"

Of course, the Moon God couldn’t answer that.

"You know it as well as I do, Moon God," the Devil said in a mocking tone. "Humans are more of a monster than I am."

Kiho hated to admit this, but the Devil was right.

[Humans are sometimes not worth dying for...]

"It’s our divine duty to protect the humans– to keep the peace and order in the world they’re living in," Kyro said vaguely. The Moon God was obviously avoiding giving a direct response to what the Devil had said. Because, honestly, humans were hard to defend in the first place. "If you’re going to die anyway, then stop fighting back and let me kill you."

The Devil fell silent, and then his gaze went past Kyro. "Is that child your son?"

Kiho’s eyes widened in shock when his gaze met the Devil’s glowing red eyes.

[How...?!]

THIS time, Tilly found herself in Yumi’s room.

And it looked like Yumi had already found out the terrible thing that Father Crades had done to her daughter.

"How dare you! Bring me back my daughter, you monster!"

Tilly’s heart broke for Yumi.

It was obvious that this Yumi was indeed a human.

Yumi was still weak, obviously since she had just given birth a few weeks ago. The punches she was throwing at Father Crades were weak.

The damned priest didn’t even budge.

"How dare you harm this holy body," Father Crades said coldly, and then he pushed Yumi– causing her to fall on the floor. "Now that I have consumed the flesh of a demigod, my body is no different from divinity anymore."

Tilly cursed under her breath. "Bullshit."

"But you should be lucky, Yumi. You have the body that could give birth to the child of a god," Father Crades said while removing his priest’s robe. "I’m giving you the honor of carrying my child in your womb."

Yumi immediately went pale.

Tilly, on the other hand, felt like going crazy again. "You despicable bastard...!"
