Mommy Villainess-Chapter 390: Toxic Love
Chapter 390: Toxic Love
THUD.
That was the sound of a body hitting the floor.
But it wasn’t Winter’s body that hit the floor hard– it was Julian who suffered the blow because he caught Winter and protected him.
[This stupid brother...]
"Are you okay, Winter?" Julian asked, his hand protecting the back of Winter’s head. "You’re not hurt anywhere, are you?"
How could Winter get hurt when he was using Julian’s body as a cushion? "I should be the one asking you that, Brother," he complained, getting up to lessen the burden on his brother. "I’m fine– but is your head okay? You didn’t break your skull, did you?"
Julian got up while touching the back of his head. "My skull is fine."
Winter rolled his eyes at Julian’s playful answer, then he stood up and offered his hand to his brother. "Let’s go. I don’t see Aku Moonchester anywhere."
It was clear that they were back in the Plane.
But Aku Moonchester kicked them out of the magic circle earlier. Hence, they fell to the ground before the magic circle properly settled.
[It seems like Aku Moonchester didn’t want us to know where exactly he’s headed.]
"Winter, did you notice?" Julian asked after standing up. "The Plane accepted us even though we were in our physical bodies."
"Oh," Winter said, his eyes widening a bit. "You’re right, Brother. Does it have anything to do with the magic circle that Aku Moonchester created?"
"I don’t think so since the magic circle that the emperor made was just a high-level long-distance teleportation spell," Julian said while looking around. "It seems like this anomaly happened because the Plane isn’t stable after Mother removed the Abyss here."
Winter’s face lit up. "Oh, so we got lucky?"
"That seems to be the case–"
His brother stopped talking when they felt a strong surge of familiar Mana.
Winter and Julian exchanged nervous looks, then spoke at the same time. "It’s Solenn."
***
JULIAN, along with his brother, followed the traces of Solenn’s Mana.
That was how they ended up in a room where Solenn was fighting a familiar woman.
[Is that Stella, Miss Luna’s sister?]
Moreover, Solenn had returned to her adult self again.
[She’s out of it. If Solenn was in her right mind, fighting someone like Miss Stella would have been easy for her. But right now, she’s just attacking blindly...]
Julian also noticed that Solenn was crying.
[Ah, does she already know about what happened to her father?]
"Children, what are you doing here?" Saint Forrester, who was busy blocking the stray balls of fire, asked them. "Did your parents come with you?"
"It’s just the two of us, Your Holiness," Julian said. "Actually, we’re here to chase–"
He was able to finish what he was about to say when, suddenly, Aku Moonchester appeared behind Stella.
"– that person."
Winter yelled while pointing a finger at the emperor. "There he is!"
Aku Moonchester grabbed Stella by the neck silently, then the two disappeared in an instant.
"No!" Solenn yelled while chasing after the little traces that Aku Moonchester had left. "Come back here!"
Julian immediately grabbed Solenn by the waist.
Since the princess was in her adult form, he could only hug and restrain her using both of his arms.
"Solenn, stop!" Julian pleaded. "Don’t do something so reckless just to release your anger!"
"Let me go, Julian!" Solenn growled. But, at least, she didn’t try to remove his arms off her physically. "Was it Aku Moonchester or the Moon God?"
"It was the Moon God," Julian said, a lump forming in his throat. "I’m sorry. We were too late to save your father."
"..."
Solenn only heaved heavy breaths and didn’t say anything else.
Winter, who just realized what they were talking about, suddenly became teary-eyed. "I’m sorry, Solenn. If only I was strong enough to kill Kyro and Aku Moonchester when we were still on the floating island, then the Moon God wouldn’t have gotten the chance to do that to Lord Solaris..."
Saint Forrester looked shocked after realizing what happened based on their conversation. "The Fire Archmage..."
"Why are you apologizing?" Solenn asked, finally calm this time. "It wasn’t your fault."
Julian realized that Solenn had returned to her senses, so he removed his arms around her waist. "It wasn’t your fault either, Solenn," he said gently. "So please don’t blame yourself for what happened to your father."
Solenn turned around while her body returned to its normal size. "Julian..."
Then Solenn ran towards Julian and hugged him tight.
"It’s okay, just cry," Julian said while rubbing Solenn’s back. "We’re here for you, Solenn."

AKU THREW Stella to the floor.
It was the woman whom the stupid nobles wanted him to marry, and she also turned out to be Elaine Moonchester’s reincarnation.
But, right now, this wench was either.
"You’re one of the deities managing the Plane, aren’t you?" Aku asked, his eyes glowing. "Bring Nia’s soul back."
The woman laughed while standing up. "Have you lost your mind? The Supreme cursed Nia’s soul. Hence, after Nia’s soul was freed from yours, it vanished. After all, the Supreme made the curse to make sure that Nia won’t be reincarnated again."
"I know that. But the Supreme is just a mere human," Aku said. "You’re a deity that runs the Plane. I’m sure you can bring back Nia’s soul here."
"Then bring the Supreme’s Abyss to me," the woman said. "That’s the only way to bring back Nia’s soul."
***
"TILLY, I’M sure you said you were going to make a new weapon with the Black Flame using the Abyss," Luna said worriedly while looking at the thing on Tilly’s palm. "But why did you make a CRAB?"
Yes, it was a crab engulfed in Black Flame.
Moreover, there was a small black hole attached inside the crab’s shell.
[It’s the Abyss...]
Luna knitted her eyebrows. "Tilly, were you hungry when you made that?"
"No, silly," Tilly said, smiling while looking at her work proudly. "I call this the Black Flamed Crab– my new weapon."
