Mommy Alert! The CEO Daddy Won't Stop Courting-Chapter 799 The Little Angel Actually Resembled Him When He Was a Child...
Malcom Moore was thrilled to hear the little angel’s words.
The little angel didn’t dislike him for it, even said she allowed him to like her mommy and cheered him on. How could he not be excited, happy, or glad?
Malcom tightly hugged the little angel, bravely kissed her tender white face, "Don’t worry, darling, Uncle will definitely try hard!"
"Uh-huh, uh-huh." The little angel nodded, her beautiful eyes bending with a smile.
Watching the little angel’s smiling face, Malcom suddenly realized the little angel seemed somewhat familiar; apart from her brilliant big eyes, the little angel’s other features resembled him—a younger version of him.
If that were true, then the little angel...
Before that crazy thought could develop, Malcom shook his head violently.
How could this be?!
Was he losing his mind?
Yes, he must be losing his mind!
He clearly had someone check already, yet such an absurd notion arose—how was he not crazy?
The little angel was born in March two years ago at the Holy Infant Hospital in S Country, so how could she be Malcom Moore’s daughter?!
"Ha!" A trace of mocking and self-deprecating smile appeared on Malcom’s exceptionally handsome face. He really was imaginative!
The little angel had no idea why Malcom’s expression suddenly changed.
But seeing Malcom unhappy, the little angel’s face also involuntarily drooped.
The little angel looked at Malcom with heartache, her small hand reaching out, wanting to smooth the hurt on his face that made her uncomfortable, "Uncle, what’s wrong?"
"Nothing." Malcom looked at the little angel, restrained all his emotions, and replaced them with a doting, gentle smile, "Be good, little angel, Uncle is fine."
Watching the interaction between Malcom and the little angel, Serena Sterling’s emotions were quite complex.
This was the bond of blood. Even though the little angel didn’t know he was her biological father, she still instinctively liked and closened to Malcom.
And Malcom was the same.
Yet...
Serena pressed down the impulse in her heart, smiled at the little angel, and reached out to her, "Little angel, come to mommy here."
"Mommy!" The little angel called sweetly, returning to Serena’s embrace.
Serena held the little angel, her gaze faintly on Malcom, speaking up, "Thank you for bringing me back, we’re going inside now."
"Okay." Malcom nodded, looking at the little angel nestled in Serena’s arms, "Little angel, how about Uncle taking you out to play next time?"
"Okay, goodbye Uncle." The little angel answered without hesitation.
After speaking, the little angel realized the issue.
She glanced at Serena, then at Malcom, and spoke again, "But Uncle has to get mommy’s permission first. If mommy agrees, then the little angel can go out to play with Uncle."
A few minutes earlier at Melody Garden, the angel in a princess dress asked for perhaps the umpteenth time, "Daniel brother, Benjamin brother, why hasn’t my mommy come back yet?"
Daniel Davies glanced at his watch, speaking softly, "Don’t worry little angel sister, godmother should be back soon."
"Oh." The little angel nodded.
She was quite anxious.
Although that uncle reassured her and the two brothers promised her, this was truly mommy’s first time getting drunk and still away overnight.
Benjamin Parker watched his tablet, and as a familiar vehicle appeared, he smiled slightly, "Uncle Morris is here."
Daniel reached out, holding the little angel’s hand, smiling, "Godmother’s back, brother will take you to welcome her."
Benjamin stood up too, holding his sister Mia, and looking in the direction of Daniel and the little angel, said, "Let’s go together."
Thus, the little angel walked out hand in hand with Daniel, alongside Benjamin and Mia, to welcome Serena and Malcom’s arrival.
When Malcom’s car came to a stop and Serena got out, Daniel released the little angel’s hand.
The moment the little angel’s hand was free, she instantly dashed towards Serena, while Daniel, Benjamin, and Mia remained where they were.
Watching the interaction between the little angel and Serena, Benjamin spoke softly, "Little angel sister really missed godmother!"
"Mm." Daniel nodded, gazing at Malcom behind Serena, "Benjamin, I think Uncle Morris truly likes godmother."
Benjamin followed Daniel’s gaze towards Malcom, "Seems like it. But mommy said the mistake Uncle Morris made was serious, godmother won’t forgive him easily."
During Daniel and Benjamin’s conversation, Malcom was already speaking with the little angel and had taken her into his arms from Serena’s grasp.
Seeing the little angel’s undisguised affection for Malcom, Daniel spoke coldly, "In adult matters, it’s the children who suffer in the end."
Benjamin agreed, "Yes, little angel sister has always wanted a daddy, especially yearning for her biological daddy. Yet look now, though Uncle Morris is right there, little angel doesn’t realize he’s her real daddy."
Amid the conversation, Daniel and Benjamin watched the little angel laughing as she kissed Malcom.
Witnessing this scene, Benjamin suggested earnestly to Daniel, "Brother, why don’t we try to help Uncle Morris? Once godmother forgives him, little angel will have her biological daddy."
Saying this, Benjamin looked towards Malcom and the little angel, "Brother, see, little angel really likes Uncle Morris, and Uncle Morris likes little angel too."
"Mm." Daniel nodded, looking at Serena standing beside Malcom and the little angel, "Besides, godmother seems inclined to let Uncle Morris and little angel recognize each other, but she’s restraining herself due to certain reasons."
Afterward, Daniel looked at Benjamin and continued, "Godmother has her considerations, better if we don’t interfere too much."
Benjamin nodded, "Mm, let’s not interfere too much."
His obsidian-like eyes gleamed as he looked at Daniel, then added, "We just need to not touch godmother’s bottom line or expose her secrets while creating opportunities for Uncle Morris to pursue godmother again."
As Serena and the little angel approached them, the twins immediately stopped their discussion and, smiling, greeted Serena and the little angel, "Godmother, little angel sister!"
As the twins spoke, Mia also sweetly chimed in, "Godmother, little angel sister."
"Mm." Serena nodded, her gaze petting the three of them affectionately, smiling as she said, "Let’s go inside."
