Miracle Farmer with Special Abilities-Chapter 587 - 0: Seizing the Assassin’s True Qi_1
This weapon was a cylinder, only about a foot long and with a diameter roughly the size of a thumb.
However, it was certainly a terrifying thermal weapon from the Ancient Ruins.
In fact, it was a product of the Three Eyes civilization.
It could fire a horrifying beam of light at an ultra-high temperature, capable of annihilating anything in its path.
Unfortunately, before the assassin could pull the trigger, he felt a sharp pain in his hand as a snake viciously bit his wrist.
Of course, this was no ordinary snake; it was Xiao Jin, a true dragon.
"Ah…!"
The man let out a piercing scream, and the cylinder dropped from his grasp.
It then automatically flew up and landed in Zhang Bin's hands.
Zhang Bin examined it carefully, a smile spreading across his face. He now understood the principles and power of this light-beam weapon.
Naturally, it was Tutu who had told him.
This is a valuable treasure. It will be a powerful trump card for dealing with strong enemies in the future.
"Kill…!"
The assassin, overcome with fury, swung the dagger in his other hand, viciously slashing at Xiao Jin's neck.
A cold smirk appeared on Xiao Jin's face as its tail whipped up, striking the dagger hard.
CLANG!
"Ah…!"
A sound like striking iron rang out. The webbing of the assassin's thumb split open, and the dagger was knocked from his grip.
He let out another pained scream.
He immediately dropped to the ground and began rolling toward the door.
Clearly, he knew the mission was a failure. Completing his task was impossible, and escape was the only option.
"If I let you get away, it would be the biggest joke of all," Zhang Bin sneered. He took a single, sudden step, landing squarely on the man's back.
"Argh…!"
The assassin screamed in agony, pinned to the floor like a toad, completely unable to move.
He struggled with all his might, but it was useless.
It felt as if a great mountain was crushing him.
The assassin was about to bite down on the poison hidden in his false tooth to commit suicide.
However, a strange power seeped out from Zhang Bin's foot. The man's vision went black, and he fell unconscious, unable to even take his own life.
"If you managed to kill yourself, that would be an even bigger joke," Zhang Bin said, a cold smile forming on his face.
After all, Xiao Xuanzi and Xiao Qian hadn't even made a move yet.
Soon, Zhang Bin had extracted the poison from the assassin's false tooth.
He didn't remove the bomb in his head, however.
According to his Heaven-Man Resonance, the assassin's hands were stained with blood; he was a man abandoned by heaven and humanity alike.
He had to be eliminated.
But for now, he still had some use.
Finally, the three family members, who had been sobbing in each other's arms, began to calm down.
Yu Ruman recounted her life after the abduction.
She told the entire truth without a single lie, including the fact that Zhang Bin had rescued her.
Mother Yu and Father Yu were utterly horrified. They had never dreamed that such a vicious Assassin Organization existed in the world.
They immediately began thanking Zhang Bin profusely. If it weren't for him, Yu Ruman would have become a killer with blood on her hands, and they would never have seen their daughter again.
Their family's happiness had been destroyed by the Assassin Organization.
Yet, Zhang Bin, with his Miraculous Abilities, had reunited their family and given them a second chance at happiness.
How incredibly fortunate they were!
"Uncle, Aunt, there are many others like Yu Ruman in this world, and many parents like you who have lost their children," Zhang Bin said seriously. "Therefore, I need Yu Ruman's help. We must work together to destroy this Assassin Organization and prevent such tragedies from ever happening again. Please, support us."
"Yes, of course, we'll support you! That damned Assassin Organization must be completely destroyed. Their leader must receive the punishment he deserves," they both replied in unison, their faces masks of hatred and rage.
Zhang Bin led Yu Ruman and the captive assassin into another room.
He lowered his voice and asked, "Yu Ruman, since the True Qi you all cultivate is of the same nature, without conflict or rejection, have you ever absorbed True Qi from another assassin? Or have they ever absorbed yours?"
"Yes," Yu Ruman explained. "The reason we could reach this level of cultivation at our age isn't because we're geniuses—our talent is only average. It's because we've devoured the True Qi cultivated by others. Those with poor aptitude can't cultivate to an exceptionally powerful state, so they are used to 'feed' the more talented cultivators. Once their True Qi becomes sufficiently dense, they are made to obediently transfer it to someone else. You're not thinking of having me absorb this enforcer's True Qi, are you?"
"That's exactly what I mean. He deserves death a thousand times over. It would be a waste of his True Qi to just kill him," Zhang Bin said.
"That seems difficult to do," Yu Ruman said. "He would have to transfer his True Qi to me willingly. Otherwise, I have no way to absorb it."
"I'll make him transfer it to you willingly," Zhang Bin replied, his face filled with confidence.
He took out a Pine Needle and pricked the assassin a few times.
The assassin awoke, his face immediately contorting with pain and unbearable irritation.
He felt an intense itch spreading through his entire body, as if it was emanating from deep within his bones.
Yet, his body was completely paralyzed, and he couldn't even make a sound.
He could only look at Zhang Bin with pleading eyes, clearly begging for a quick end to his suffering.
"Listen carefully," Zhang Bin said coldly. "If you transfer your True Qi to Yu Ruman, I'll give you a swift death afterward. Otherwise, you'll continue to live in a state worse than death. If you agree, blink twice."
The assassin couldn't endure it for another second. He hastily blinked twice.
How is this possible? These are assassins who aren't even afraid of death! Yu Ruman was secretly stunned, her admiration for Zhang Bin's methods growing even deeper.
Zhang Bin then relieved the assassin's pain.
After catching his breath for a moment, the assassin realized there was no chance of escape and that suicide was futile.
He truly began transferring his True Qi to Yu Ruman.
The process was simple.
With their palms pressed together, the True Qi could flow between them.
Yu Ruman's True Qi became substantially more potent, jumping directly from the late-stage Liquidization Realm to the peak of the Liquidization Realm, just a hair's breadth from Great Perfection.
Moreover, she felt no discomfort at all.
Damn, the Heaven-Defying Divine Skill seems comparable to the fictional Beiming Divine Skill from novels, and it might even be more miraculous. After all, I haven't even seen the last five levels of the cultivation technique. Perhaps the later levels allow one to devour different types of True Qi. The Beiming Divine Skill, on the other hand, would cause internal conflict and lead to cultivation deviation after absorbing different types of True Qi.
Zhang Bin once again witnessed the terrifying power of the Heaven-Defying Divine Skill, and his estimation of it grew even higher.
He also became more wary of the fearsome masters who practiced this technique.
If a master like that appeared one day and tried to devour my True Qi, what would I do? Is there any way to resist?
