Matrix Survival: I Get A Random Chest Every Day-Chapter 935 - 651: Ambushed (Part 3)
From the moment he encountered Eagle Leader, Li Zheng began extracting Spiritual Power from the Dark Realm, but even after all this time, he couldn’t extract one ten-thousandth.
But how immense is his total Spiritual Power?
Even that fraction is unmatched by Eagle Leaders; he struggled to advance a short distance before being entirely overwhelmed by boundless Spiritual Power, collapsing on the ground unable to get up.
"Damn!" Li Zheng felt a bit of itching between his brows, wiped it with his hand, and discovered blood was pouring from his nose due to the intense exertion of Spiritual Power.
Suddenly, he sensed a chill behind him stabbing into his brain. Without thinking, Li Zheng instantly shifted into another phantom.
Looking back, a familiar figure appeared at his previous location.
"Nato!" Li Zheng’s eyes narrowed slightly. Over there was another guy who hadn’t made a move, with unknown strength, and now Nato had arrived too. Even though he had fought to eliminate the seven Eagle Leaders, the situation hadn’t become optimistic.
"Sharp kid." Nato, carrying the missed swing of the Wolf Fang Club on his shoulder, spat: "Pretty clever."
His feet sunk deeply into the ground, his body unbelievably strong, standing firm and unmoved under the pressure of Spiritual Power that even the seven Eagle Leaders couldn’t withstand!
"Why are you here?" The Eagle Leader saw Nato and was not pleased, instead showing some displeasure: "Weren’t you sent to chase down the escaping guy? Where is he?"
The escaping guy naturally referred to Feng Yue. Previously, while Li Zheng observed the opponents, he had noticed Nato hiding nearby, secretly following when Feng Yue fled.
"He got away," Nato said in a deep voice. "We were played by that kid. The one fleeing to the gathering area wasn’t him, but a combat robot impersonating him, which I chased down and smashed with two blows. His real body must have gone the opposite way to the Golden Light Zone."
"To the Golden Light Zone?" The Eagle Leader’s eyelid twitched: "Sang Biao has a hidden injury but isn’t weak. If he rushes over upon receiving the news, we might not be a match for him."
He shot a dangerous glance at Li Zheng: "Go all out, quick battle and finish him!"
Nato shrugged: "His displacement technique is too strange for me to crack."
"Let me." The Eagle Leader’s Disguise Suit suddenly swelled, and something seemed about to emerge from his back.
Boom!
The Disguise Suit exploded into pieces, and a pair of massive wings unfolded from his back, wingspan reaching three meters, covered with feathers like sharp steel blades.
Clang!
The wings vibrated, and the feathers clashed with a deafening sound, extremely piercing.
"Dammit, thinking of cheating?"
Li Zheng instantly realized the opponent’s intention, his pupils contracted violently, and he turned to flee.
Swish, swish, swish, swish!
The sound of sharp implements slicing the air echoed behind, unceasingly. Li Zheng dared not look back, pushing the flight speed of the Demon Thunder Wings to their maximum, Genetic Force pouring out like a tide.
"Be obedient and die, I’ll give you a swift end." The Eagle Leader, having destroyed the Disguise Suit, his voice changed, sounding as grating and unpleasant as a crow, scraping the eardrums.
"Screw you!" Li Zheng shouted angrily, performing a horizontal 360-degree turn, evading several steel blade feathers. Cold sweat raised on his back; from those steel blade feathers, he sensed an extremely sharp aura, and being slashed would mean no survival!
"Why is Feng Yue’s speed so slow?" Li Zheng was anxious, only Sang Biao from the Biao Race could save him now, or he’d be forced to use his trump card again, but doing so was overly dangerous and might obliterate him altogether.
Feng Yue’s previous actions were directed by Li Zheng in secret.
First, he blocked the seven Eagle Leaders, lulling the enemy into thinking Feng Yue would stubbornly fight to protect Li Zheng.
Then, without hesitation, he scrambled to flee, as far as he could while they were caught off guard.
Simultaneously, Feng Yue had also taken the initiative to switch places with a combat robot impersonating himself, fleeing back to the Golden Light Zone simply to find Sang Biao and request a rescue for Li Zheng.
If necessary, he could offer the Purple Magic Crystal Li Zheng stored with Feng Yue in exchange for their assistance.
"Didn’t that guy claim his race prioritized speed?" Li Zheng looked toward the Golden Light Zone but saw no sign of reinforcements, anxious: "Could he have betrayed us and absconded with the goods?"
Just as he was worried, two black dots appeared on the edge of the Golden Light Zone, approaching him at an incredible speed.
Seeing this, Li Zheng was overjoyed: "Feng Yue, brother, you’re trustworthy, I didn’t mistake you!"
The Eagle Leader also noticed figures appearing there, estimating they wouldn’t take more than a minute to reach them, frowned: "Kid, count yourself lucky!"
He glanced at Li Zheng, knowing he couldn’t quickly overcome the slippery opponent; he signaled Nato, and the two turned and left, leaving behind the seven not entirely dead Eagle Leaders, no more than a passing glance.
"Survived." Li Zheng’s tense caution just relaxed; suddenly, alarm bells rang in his heart, temples pulsating madly: "Danger!"
He instinctively flipped upward, feeling a chill at the left knee, followed by excruciating pain.
The bottom half of his leg was severed, falling to the ground.
"Hmph!"
The Eagle Leader snorted coldly, discontented that the last sneak attack failed, speeding up to leave the place.
If blocked by Sang Biao, he wasn’t confident of escaping unharmed.
"Pathfinder!" Feng Yue spotted Li Zheng alive from a distance, immediately rejoiced, calling loudly: "I brought the person!"
If someone had told Feng Yue thirty minutes ago, "You will get close to a Wilderness person and ask for help," Feng Yue would have sneered, thinking they were insulting his credibility.
He never imagined one day he would indeed become close to a savage Wilderness person, feeling safe with them for the first time... like seeing a ghost!
"He’s injured." Sang Biao suddenly sniffed the air, his figure rapidly descending, stomping on the ground, creating a bottomless black pit, increasing his leap forward a whole notch.
