Mated to Four Alphas-Chapter 273: Flashback - 13
Chapter 273: Flashback - 13
After a while, they both reached the palace. And when they went inside, Theron, Kael, and Lysander were already back from another pack after completing their work.
Those three were inside, and seeing them, Silas was happy.
Kael took a step forward and came to Silas and gave him pluffy black outer cloak since it was too cold there.
"I’m sorry. I promised you that I would show you around the pack, but I didn’t. I went to do my work. I’m really sorry, Silas."
Kael was apologizing because he was feeling guilty that he went to do his work when he had promised Silas that he would show him around.
And because of that, Silas was going to stay a few more days. But in the end, he didn’t keep his promise and instead, he sent Damon with him.
Which was good, but it was not something Kael wanted. He himself wanted to spend more time with Silas.
"It’s alright, but we weren’t able to see anything. We just had breakfast, and you know, it started to snow, and all the roads were blocked. That’s why we didn’t have any other choice. We just stayed there," Silas said.
"Wait a minute. Did you two spend the night together? Did you get a room there? How many rooms did you get? One, two?" Kael was getting restless.
But when he heard from Silas that they had only gotten one room and they were together, Kael glared at Damon and grabbed Silas’s hand.
"Let’s go. We’ll spend the whole day together."
Silas didn’t say anything, and he just went with him. Because he also wanted to spend time with Kael, so there was nothing wrong.
When they both came out of the palace, Silas didn’t know where they were going, so he asked.
"Where are we going now?"
"There is a beautiful lake in our pack that never freezes, and the water is always warm in that lake."
Silas had never heard anything about that lake before, so he was kinda excited to go there. But Kael didn’t call the carriage.
"Let’s just go to the garden."
Kael was walking ahead, and Silas was right behind him, looking at his back.
Kael’s back muscles were visible, and his biceps could also be seen, which showed how much Kael worked out.
Kael’s whole attention was on reaching the garden, but then he realized that he was leaving Silas behind, so he turned around and saw.
Since Silas’s height was short, his legs were also tiny compared to Kael, so Kael’s two steps were like four steps for Silas.
Just seeing that, Kael burst into laughter.
"Pffft~... You are so short... Look at those tiny legs of yours that can’t even keep up with me... hahaha."
Kael said that directly, but he didn’t realize his words hurt Silas.
Silas’s face dropped after hearing this, and without saying anything, he just went and sat down under the tree, pouting.
Kael was dumbfounded about why Silas was pouting. He glanced around and went to Silas, sitting beside him.
But when he sat down beside him, Silas looked away to the right side.
"What happened? Why are you sulking now? Your face is looking like a pufferfish."
Silas looked at Kael at those words, glaring at him before turning his face to the right side again.
"Kael, I don’t want to talk to you anymore... I’m short, and I can’t keep up with you, and now I’m a pufferfish too, right? So it would be good if you just go alone."
Kael scratched his head, still not knowing what to say that wouldn’t make Silas more angry.
"Sorry, I didn’t mean to make you angry."
Silas wasn’t even paying attention to his words, only touching the snow on which he was sitting.
Kael extended his hand and poked his fingers on Silas’s cheek.
"I’m sorry."
Silas shook his head so Kael couldn’t touch him. He didn’t accept his apology either.
Kael rested his back against the tree while looking up at the sky.
"What can I do now? My omega is angry with me, and he doesn’t even want to talk to me."
Silas finally glanced at Kael, wondering what nonsense he was spouting again.
"Finally, you looked at me. I’m sorry I called you a pufferfish, but your cheeks were really looking like one. It’s not my fault, chipmunk."
"Why are you calling me chipmunk now? My name is Silas."
Kael just wanted to tease Silas. That’s why he was calling him by those names.
And he really found Silas’s angry expression very cute. That’s why he was teasing him again and again.
"You are really good. Your height, your face, your behavior—you. You’re incredible."
Silas’s expression softened as he heard compliments about himself, and he felt proud. Yes, he is incredible.
"Even if you are tall, you can’t tease me by saying that I’m the shorter one here, okay? If you do it again, I will not talk to you."
"Okay, I understand. Sorry about that. And I will tease you more, you chipmunk."
Silas started to smack Kael’s hand. He was being very gentle, like Kael was only feeling like cotton was hitting him, nothing more than that.
"Ugh... It’s hurting me. If you hit me like this, I’ll die!" Kael started to scream for no reason, pretending it was hurting a lot.
"Don’t talk to me, stupid Kael!"
Kael coaxed Silas for 15 minutes, and after that, they both went on the path that led to the lake.
After a whole 20 minutes of walking, they finally reached the lake. And that lake was indeed not frozen.
And the water inside—it was warm. As Silas touched the water, he felt like he was in heaven.
He turned to Kael to tell him that it was indeed a miracle. But as he turned, Kael pushed him inside the lake and jumped in himself. freewēbnoveℓ.com
The lake was a little deep where he threw Silas. For a moment, Silas forgot how to swim cuz of that cloak it was stopping him from moving his legs, and he was drowning.
Just then, Kael grabbed him by the waist and came up while swimming.
Both of their bodies were pressed against each other, and Silas’s hands were hugging Kael’s back.
