Silas’s POV

I couldn’t believe my ears. What I just heard—it can’t be true.

Damon had done something to that omega last night? No way. He was with me, and right in front of my eyes, he left the building and went to his room.

"Where is Mr. Damon right now? And what is going to happen to him?"

"Actually, we don’t know. But his reputation is totally ruined. Since he was a big shot, someone spread this on the internet and now everyone knows about it."

I quickly glanced at Lysander, ’cause it was a bit unexpected. How can this happen?

"We are not allowed to use our phones in the base, right? And our phones were confined at the gate. Then who has the phone to spread the news?"

At that moment, what I was feeling—I can’t even put it into words.

Rage plus fear filled my heart, just thinking that when Damon gave chances to peoepls from another pack , still instead of being grateful, they are slandering him.

Lysander also seemed shocked. Of course he would be, ’cause Damon is his older brother.

If something like this happened to Orian—I know it won’t—but still, I would be shocked and angry too.

And I know Damon. I know he won’t do this.

"Guys, let’s go and check what is happening." Liam said

The four of us started to walk into the hall. I was ahead, and Lysander also came while closing the door with one hand.

And before we got into the elevator, we saw all the trainees were also coming, and they were gossiping about Damon.

When we got into the elevator, I was only thinking how Damon must be feeling right now, and what they were telling him.

And what would the situation be like there? I wanted to see it myself.

Because I can prove that Damon was with me last night, which means he is innocent.

When we came out from the building, we saw there were many trainees standing in front of the main building.

Seeing them there, me and Lysander went ahead and pushed people aside to see what they were looking at.

And when we reached, we saw the omega sitting on his knees in front of Damon.

People were murmuring:

"He’s such a slut. How can he lie and accuse Mr. Damon?"

"He’s a stain on omegas’ name."

After hearing that, when I looked ahead, Damon was standing there coldly.

His eyes were only staring at that omega while both his hands were in his pockets.

And that omega was crying, sitting on his knees in front of Damon, hiccuping. He was looking down. He looked miserable.

"Please forgive me, Mr. Damon. Please give me one more chance."

Damon’s face was so serious, and he rolled his eyes like he didn’t care about anything.

Even if that omega was begging, he glanced around, and our eyes met.

"Mr. Damon, please listen to me. I really love you so much. Please don’t leave me." That omega still begging

Damon finally looked at that omega.

"Listen. Did you really think if you apologize to me everything would be fine? Then come out of your delusion, ’cause I am not going to let you go that easily for accusing me."

And just then, the police came there and took that omega with them.

Because of him, Damon’s reputation had been ruined. And now he was just apologizing.

It didn’t change anything, but at least it proved that Damon is innocent. And I’m happy—just knowing that.

Everyone returned back inside, but we were standing there when Damon came to us.

"Did you just wake up, Silas? ’Cause your hair’s all messy—but it’s cute."

When I asked him what had happened, we found out more of the truth.

That omega had spread the news that Damon had tried to rape him in the night, when everyone was sleeping.

And the first thing was—where did he get the mobile?

When the staff members weren’t paying attention, he sneaked into the staff room where the mobiles were kept.

And when he got his phone, he returned to the dorm.

Then he spread the news, accusing Damon. And that news spread like fire.

When Damon came to know, he started investigating early in the morning and found out from the CCTV footage that it was that omega who had stolen his own mobile from the staff room.

So when Damon called him and showed him the footage, he knew there was nothing he could do now.

That’s why he accepted his mistake and started apologizing to Damon in front of everyone, so they would feel pity for him.

I don’t know what I should call this type of love, ’cause Damon said that omega was telling him to mark him—and after that, he wouldn’t come in front of Damon again.

Like—wow. But since everything settled down in just a few hours, we came back, took showers, and had breakfast.

When we came back, Lysander and I sighed in relief. First I went to take a bath, then he did.

When we reached the cafeteria, Liam and Ren also came there and sat with us.

After eating, we all went to the training room where Damon was already waiting for us.

He taught us how to do facial expressions in every situation—and many more things.

Days kept passing, one after another. Then finally, the day came when they gave our mobiles back so we could talk with our families.

I dialed Theron’s number. I didn’t know how Velric and Theron must be. Within a second, the call was answered.

(Silas) "Hello."

(Velric) "Mumma... How are you... hic... Mumma."

Velric answered the call, but he started crying while talking. Just then, I heard—

"Little fighter, don’t cry. You promised me that you would talk with him smilingly. That’s why I let you answer the call, didn’t I?"

So, Theron had let him answer the call himself. But my heart felt so good after hearing Velric’s voice—and even Theron’s.
