Mated to Four Alphas-Chapter 241: Training base - 2
Chapter 241: Training base - 2
Silas’s POV
As I went inside, all the trainees from different packs were gathered there. As I stood and glanced around, I saw a face that was very unpleasant to see.
It was Lysander, standing there. But I wasn’t shocked to see him—because I had a hunch.
As a famous alpha actor, they were definitely going to select him. But it didn’t matter.
There were many other actors too. It’s not like they would pair me with Lysander.
As I was thinking, four people came in. One was the omega judge, and the others were alphas, I think.
But among them, I caught another familiar face—it was Damon. Now this was indeed shocking for me, because I didn’t expect to see Damon there at all.
Damon grabbed the mic and stepped forward toward us. All the judges were standing right in front of us. Damon’s face was poker—no expression.
"Welcome to the training base, everyone. I am Damon, and I will be your mentor and judge of this base. I hope I’ll be able to see great talents among all of you."
While talking, his eyes suddenly met mine, but I started glancing around to avoid eye contact.
All the omegas were cheering for Damon—guess he’s really famous, even though he’s only the CEO of Gold Era Entertainment Company.
"I know you are all from different packs, but we’ve gathered here to cast the most talented actors for the drama ’Mad Demon Lord’s Crazy Wife.’ so all the best."
After saying that, he went back and handed the mic to another person with brown hair who had been standing next to him.
As that judge got the mic, he stepped forward too.
"Wassup, everyone! I’m your mentor and friend, Voline. I’m very excited to see you all here, and I hope you all are excited too!"
"WE ARE!"
Everyone shouted in excitement. Wow, it means everyone knows him. Wait—am I the only one who doesn’t know who he is?
While smiling, Voline handed the mic to the female omega judge.
As she stepped forward, all the alphas started screaming for her.
She was beautiful, and I had seen a few of her performances. She’s a great singer—her voice is like an angel’s.
"I am glad to see everyone here fighting"
Then, the last judge stepped forward. His black hair was long, tied up in a ponytail.
Despite having dusky skin, he had hazel eyes. Not gonna lie—he was handsome and hot.
"Welcome."
He just said "welcome" and stepped back. I was pretty confused. What was that? Why didn’t he say anything else? I think he must be introverted.
But then again, Voline took the mic.
"You all must be thinking what’s gonna happen now, right? But don’t worry—I got the most interesting game for you!"
The game was: two boxes would be put in front of all the MLs (meaning all female and male alphas) and another two in front of all the MCs (all male and female omegas).
In those boxes were notes with numbers on them. freeweɓnovēl.coɱ
The ones who got the same number would become partners and stay and perform together for the next two months.
Like, if my note had the number 5 written on it, I’d have to find an alpha whose note had that same number.
A staff member came with the box of numbers and approached all the omegas one by one, asking us to pick one note from the box. The same thing happened with the alphas.
Just then, an alpha said in a loud voice, "Mine is number 7!"
An omega standing beside him raised his hand, and they both successfully became partners and stood aside.
I opened my note and saw it had the number 2—but I didn’t say anything.
I was standing there, hoping to get the best partner who could help me get selected for this role. About 10 minutes passed. And then I heard—
"Mine is number 2."
I looked to the other side and saw that the person holding the number 2 note was none other than Lysander.
I was deeply disappointed. Today must’ve been my bad luck day or something.
This game was based on luck—obviously, if I had good luck, Lysander wouldn’t have been my partner.
But in front of the judges, I didn’t show anything on my face.
I simply stood with Lysander, where all the matched actors were standing. And in the end, when all was done...
Damon had the mic in his hand.
"Congratulations for winning the match. Whoever is matched today will perform in partnership until the end. Successful matches will get a chance to become ML and MC in the drama."
Everyone listened carefully—even me. But I didn’t even glance at Lysander. Now I was worried about how we were going to perform together.
"Now the staff will take you to your dorm. You will share a dorm with your matched partner for the whole two months. Rest for today—because from tomorrow, you’ll hardly get a chance to rest."
After saying this, the judges left. Their rooms were in another building, and our trainees’ dorms were elsewhere.
As the staff came, I grabbed my bags, but then Lysander took them from me.
"I’ll help you."
As he walked beside me, the strong scent of lavender lingered in my nose. That scent made me feel... nice. I’d noticed—Lysander always smells like lavender.
But wait—why am I thinking about his smell? I haven’t forgiven him yet.
"I don’t need your help."
I tried to take my luggage back, but he wouldn’t give it to me, so I gave up and just walked.
When we reached the building beside the main one, "DORM" was written in big letters.
As we went inside, the staff handed over the room keys and told us our floor.
When we stepped into the elevator, there were other omegas too, literally blushing while looking at him.
They even asked for his autograph—and he stood there, holding both my luggage and his own.
"Lysander, you brought a lot of luggage," one of them asked.
