Mated to Four Alphas-Chapter 211: Healing - 4
Chapter 211: Healing - 4
"What the hell are you two doing?"
As they heard the voice, they both glanced back—and it was Liro, coming there with everyone.
He was the one who had used his magic and did that trick with the knife. As they reached the spot, Krivan quickly stepped away from Damon and secretly hurt his own hand, making blood ooze out. fгeewёbnoѵel.cσm
Silas also came there with Theron. And upon seeing Silas, Krivan quickly ran to him.
"Silas, because of you I helped him, but now he’s hurting me and accusing me. Saying it was me who cast black magic on that little kid. Do you think I could do something like that? You know me, Silas, don’t you?"
Silas noticed Krivan’s hand was bleeding. And when Krivan had saved Theron, Silas believed that it couldn’t have been Krivan who cast the black magic on Velric—because if he had cast it, he wouldn’t have been able to heal it.
"I’m sorry, Van, on behalf of Damon. I know he’s sensitive about his brother. That’s probably why he said those things. But I believe you didn’t cast black magic on Velric."
Hearing that, Damon stepped forward. Krivan expected Damon to argue with Silas now, to say that it was Krivan who cast the black magic. He had even confessed it a moment ago. But—
"Yes, Silas, you’re right. How could he possibly cast black magic on Velric?" Damon said, and that shocked Krivan.
"Hey, what are you saying? Why are you backing off now? You just said I was the one who cast the black magic! Then why are you accepting so easily that it wasn’t me? Say it! Say that it was me!"
Damon scoffed. "It’s looking like you’re dying to take the blame, huh?"
"Damon, let’s go. I’m starting to get a headache. I want to go home and rest now," Theron said in the middle.
After hearing that, Damon didn’t plan to argue with Krivan any longer. He gently touched Silas’s shoulder and started walking with him.
And Krivan was glaring at them from behind—because Silas didn’t even look back, he just walked away. As Damon and Silas stepped out of the temple, Theron was right behind them.
And behind Theron, Liro was walking. When they all came out, they turned back—and saw Theron was still inside. Because Liro had grabbed his hand while they were leaving.
"What the fuck, man?" Theron cursed with a smile.
"Hey, I’m grateful that you healed me, but that doesn’t give you any right to grab my hand like this. Do you want to die or something?"
Theron whisper, in a low voice, so Silas couldn’t hear it.
"Hahaha... I won’t let you go now. Do you know how many years I’ve been trying to find you, my son?" Liro said with a creepy smirk on his face.
At first, Theron didn’t pay attention to Liro’s words. But as soon as he realized Liro had called him his son, he quickly pushed Liro away.
"What the hell are you spouting right now? Do you even realize what you’re saying? I already have parents. And you are nothing to me. Hope you understand."
"I am your father. How could I not recognize you? You are my son. My blood. The moment I saw you, I knew it was you—my son, Theron. I lost you when you were so little, and after that, I couldn’t find a single clue. But after all these years, you came back to me. It’s destiny, you know?"
Theron smiled again. "Yes, and it’s destined that you’re gonna die by my hand right now. So before I do anything, just get the hell out of here."
After saying that, Theron was about to take a step out of the temple. Just then, Liro said,
"Don’t you think you have special blood? Much more extraordinary than any normal person? Have you ever wondered—those people you call your family... do they have blood like yours? Can their blood bind someone? Can their blood perform magic like yours?"
"You were able to transfer someone else’s black magic onto yourself to save them. And even that deadly black magic couldn’t hurt you. Did you notice that? You’re standing here, fit and fine. If it had been someone else, they would’ve died. But you didn’t—because you are my son."
Theron took a step back after hearing all that, and his expression turned into a faint smile.
"If you’re going to use that kind of logic, then I’m also your father. Because who’s gonna kill the great priest? It’s Theron—the great person. He’s more than ordinary. He’s going to kill the priest in the middle of the night. And I don’t know how you know about my blood or anything else, but what you said just now? No, that’s not true."
Theron stepped out of the temple. And as he did, suddenly a memory popped into his mind—like a flashback. He was imprisoned somewhere, banging on a door, crying and begging.
His tiny hands were hurt from banging again and again. And as that memory hit him, he froze and looked back at Liro.
He realized that Liro was doing something shady—that’s why he was seeing these things in his mind. Those memories... had never actually happened.
"Theron, do you really think you can escape from me again—after I finally found you, after all these years? I won’t let you go. You are the key to my success!"
They all now heard what Liro was saying. When he had called Theron his son earlier, no one heard it except Theron.
"My son, you belong to the temple. You can’t leave from here. They are not your family. I am. I am your father."
Everyone’s eyes were widen after hearing that. It was a bit unexpected for them—a priest suddenly calling Theron his son.
"What is that crazy priest spouting right now?" Damon said, making a weird face as he looked at him.
But Krivan who was standing behind liro was more shocked then them.
