Chapter 223: 222. Spatial Spirit Body [Bonus]

----

The Dual-Ability Gene Serum had to wait. It was promising, but still needed testing and Nolan didn’t need it for himself.

The moment Emma Frost’s blood fully integrated, his telepathic abilities surged. But her diamond skin offered little utility his body already surpassed conventional durability. He never truly cared for that part anyway.

"Now... Mystique and Blink."

Nolan’s eyes shimmered.

In his mind, mutants were inherently suited for magic, yet Kamar-Taj had never recruited any. He found that odd.

If a mutant already possessed an innate connection to reality-warping phenomena, wouldn’t that pair beautifully with magical training?

Take Mystique with shapeshifting that bordered on reality mimicry. Or Wanda, who already merged Chaos Magic with her mutant powers.

Nolan wondered aloud, "If I had a mutant who could open multiple portals... could I bypass the limit of one dimensional gate at a time?"

Even now, his personal spacefold portals were enormous but singular. No matter how wide the portal stretched, he could only open one at a time.

He had once asked Wong about it. The answer was simple: "Your understanding of dimensional geometry isn’t deep enough... and your mind is too cluttered. Kamar-Taj mages specialize in you, Nolan, try to master everything."

"Time to open a new gene cluster..."

Just to be safe, Nolan immersed himself in the high-energy genetic mod pod, thick nutrient gel surrounding his body.

When he first replicated symbiote DNA, he’d learned a painful lesson.

Symbiotes, like Venom, had fixed genetic slots their evolution capped. Nolan wanted no such ceiling.

He had crafted his own version: the Autonomous Evolution Module.

It allowed his body to dynamically expand its genetic reservoirs, but each upgrade came with increasing pain. The stronger he became, the more his cells resisted change.

Pain was part of progress.

He dripped Mystique’s blood into the chamber. It seeped into his skin, rewriting cellular pathways. His muscles spasmed, nerves screamed, skin tore and re-stitched in real time.

It felt like driving a needle under his fingernail through every inch of his body.

Moments later, his mind flared. New nodes of light spatial coordinates lit up in his consciousness.

He hadn’t cast a spell. He hadn’t even activated his sling ring.

These coordinates came directly from his enhanced telepathy.

More than that his mind had become the gateway.

His thoughts alone could now puncture space.

"Mutant powers really are divine gifts..."

He held up Blink’s blood vial and injected it next.

This one was smoother. Pain flashed and passed in seconds. He stepped out of the pod, dressed, and flexed his mind.

His thoughts painted the multiverse.

Five portals opened instantly. Each led to a different dimension.

With Blink and Mystique’s X-Genes synergized into his space magic, Nolan had leveled up again.

"So this is what a Spatial Spirit Body feels like..."

In cultivation lore, that term would have been mystical. Here? It was biological and magical perfection.

But it wasn’t enough.

Next targets: Azazel and Nightcrawler Blink’s "twins" in teleportation genetics.

If he could acquire their DNA and add it to residual Space Stone compounds in his collection he could evolve into something even more absurd:

Spatial Deity Body.

His dimensional affinity would approach the tier of cosmic celestials.

"Connors. Stern. Clean the lab."

His assistants entered, snapped to attention. It was time to move on.

Mutant research was complete Inhumans were next.

Dozens of Inhumans were dragged into the lab, all restrained by suppressor collars that dampened X-Gene analogs and blocked their powers.

Hive had delivered them beautifully his invasion had made this all possible.

The collars neutralized their Terrigen-enhanced genetics, leaving them as ordinary humans.

Connors and Stern donned their lab coats and prepped the equipment.

"Begin testing. Log every variable. They don’t need to survive just keep the data flowing."

"Yes, Doctor."

For Nolan, the future wasn’t just about power it was about systematization.

He would now create a universal power classification for all superhumans.

While governments still relied on the outdated five-tier scale, Nolan aimed for a multi-parameter matrix:

Power

Defense

Speed fгee𝑤ebɳoveɭ.cøm

Energy Projection

With secondary stats like intellect, tactical skill, resilience, and state amplification, he could finally quantify transcendence.

It wouldn’t be perfect, not yet. But it would be functional.

"It’s time to bring order to the chaos."

And with Inhuman test subjects, his framework would soon become the new global standard.
