Chapter 75 - 75 : Multiverse

---

The endless waves of water above the manor lake condensed into a bright and clear ice castle, sending a sharp chill into the air. A thick layer of frost coated the grass and trees, the cold radiating outward like a silent storm.

Finn turned back to glance at Wanda, a small smirk curling his lips. His deep, starry eyes reflected the shimmering ice structure behind him, gleaming with anticipation.

"Witch, do you like it?"

Wanda stood still, staring at the castle in stunned silence. The mist of her breath curled in the freezing air as she slowly stepped forward. Then, as if drawn by an unseen force, she wrapped her arms around Finn and pressed a soft kiss to his cheek, her crimson eyes shimmering with emotion.

"It's beautiful," she murmured.

Finn chuckled, brushing his fingers along the tip of his nose. "I just made what you wanted."

His voice was casual, as if sculpting an entire ice fortress from the sky was something ordinary. In truth, he hadn't known witches had a thing for castles. He just figured that most girls—especially those raised on Western fairy tales—could never resist the allure of one.

Wanda's fingers trembled as she traced the cold edges of the icy castle with her eyes. The sheer scale of it was breathtaking.

"I love it," she whispered.

Her voice cracked slightly, and Finn's gaze softened. She lifted her arms, reaching for him, and in an instant, her crimson energy enveloped them both. A deep red glow pulsed from her hands, and the two shot upward into the sky, gliding toward the floating castle. The closer they got, the more Wanda's heartbeat quickened.

Within moments, they entered the frozen fortress, the grand view of the manor spreading out below them like a painting.

"Why are you crying?" Finn asked, brushing his fingers gently against the corners of her eyes, where frost-mixed tears had begun to form. His voice was lighthearted, but his brows furrowed slightly in concern. "Don't tell me you think it's ugly."

Wanda gave a shaky laugh, her breath visible in the freezing air.

"It's not that," she murmured. "It's just... it reminds me of when I was little. Before I came to America, I lived in a war-torn country. I used to dream about a castle like this... and a prince who would protect me."

Finn's eyes darkened as he listened. He already knew Wanda had lived through hell as a child. But hearing her say it—her voice barely above a whisper, full of unshed grief—made his chest tighten.

"Well, your dream came true, didn't it?" he said softly.

Wanda let out a quiet laugh, her breath warm against his chest. "I suppose it did."

She tightened her arms around him, pressing her face against his neck. "Thank you, Finn."

She tilted her chin up and brushed her lips against his. The kiss was slow, lingering—full of something unspoken.

It took a long time for them to separate.

Wanda's face was flushed, both from the cold and something else entirely. The heat rising in her body created small clouds of mist around them, rendering the atmosphere even more intoxicating.

Her scarlet eyes were hazy, lips slightly parted.

And then—

"Witch, your lips were sticky from crying just now."

Finn's teasing tone shattered the moment. He wiped the corner of his mouth, feigning disgust.

Wanda's expression instantly shifted. "You—!"

"It's true, isn't it?" Finn smirked, clearly enjoying her reaction. "I mean, you don't care about my tears, so why should I care about yours?"

Wanda's fury ignited. Without hesitation, she shoved him away.

"I'm joking!" Finn laughed, dodging another attack. His fingers reached out and hooked onto the corner of her lips, pulling slightly. "Don't be mad, Witch. I was just playing."

"Don't do that!" Wanda huffed, smacking his hand away. "And stop putting your fingers in my mouth!"

The memory it triggered made her ears burn. She was instantly reminded of certain... moments in the past—ones that involved far fewer clothes and far more heat.

Finn gave her a knowing look, clearly catching on.

"What are you thinking about?" he teased. "Your face is getting redder."

"Nothing!" Wanda turned away sharply, crossing her arms.

Finn chuckled. "Come on, let's get some food. I got a seafood platter."

At the mention of food, Wanda's irritation disappeared instantly. "Seafood?"

"Yeah."

"But this is an inland town. How is there seafood?"

Finn raised an eyebrow. "Witch, it's the 21st century. If you have money, you can eat whatever you want. King crabs, sharks—you name it."

This content is taken from fгeewebnovёl.com.

Wanda blinked. "That makes sense. I only ever saw king crab at Tony's banquets."

Before she could recall more, Finn took her hand and led her down.

As they descended, the ice castle loomed above them, its grand structure still drawing the attention of tourists below. The crowd was murmuring in awe, some taking pictures, others pointing in disbelief.

A middle-aged man, who looked like a manager, rushed forward. His tone was polite but clearly urgent.

"Uh... before you two leave, can you return the lake to normal? Otherwise, I won't be able to explain this to my boss."

Finn glanced at the drained lake and the dozens of frozen fish suspended in pillars of ice.

He turned back to the man. "It'll melt in half an hour. The fish aren't dead."

The manager sighed in relief. "Thank you."

Wanda, still preoccupied with thoughts of food, tugged on Finn's sleeve. "Where's the restaurant?"

"Follow me, please." The manager bowed slightly before leading the way.

---

Meanwhile...

A figure stood hidden beneath the shade of a large tree, staring up at the floating castle. His expression was unreadable, his body tense.

Mysterio.

He had been watching everything, eyes filled with suspicion and shock. His mind raced, trying to process what he had just witnessed.

"Finn is still alive...?" he murmured under his breath. His fingers clenched. "Then that means... she's not my Scarlet Witch."

He needed to confirm it.

With careful steps, he started following them, keeping to the shadows.

He had to know if this Wanda was truly the one he had lost—or just another ghost in this endless multiverse.

---

Under another tree, a much bulkier figure was pacing back and forth, talking to himself in a low, grumbling voice.

Or rather—talking to something inside him.

"Eddie, I think we should follow them."

"Venom, they're magicians. They won't help us. The best option is to go to New York—maybe we can find a way back home there."

Eddie Brock exhaled sharply, rubbing his temple. The symbiote inside him was restless, eager.

"But Eddie, they're going to a restaurant," Venom whined. "And we're hungry. No money, no food. Unless... you want me to eat someone?"

"Shut up," Eddie groaned. "We are not eating people."

Venom snickered. "Then we eat and run. Simple."

Eddie scowled. He was starving. He hadn't eaten in over ten hours. And Venom's constant chattering wasn't helping.

"...Fine," he muttered. "But no messing around."

Venom's giddy voice echoed in his head. "Deal."

Without another word, Eddie broke into a sprint, heading toward the restaurant.

Passersby gave him strange looks, whispering amongst themselves as he ran like a madman.

But one figure in the crowd didn't move.

She stood frozen, staring up at the ice castle. Her deep red robes swayed slightly in the wind, embroidered with strange, glowing runes.

Her eyes were dark. Sunken. Haunted.

She didn't flinch when people brushed past her.

Her gaze remained fixed on the frozen fortress.

"Finn... you're still alive?"

Her voice was a whisper.

Her fingers twitched at her sides, a faint hum of magic crackling in the air.

Had Mysterio still been there to see her, he would have frozen in horror.

Because standing there, surrounded by the faint, ominous chill—

Was his Scarlet Witch.
