Marvel : I'm in Westview Town-Chapter 183
Chapter 183 - 183
At this moment, the demon leader appeared to have lost his mind. His pupils were scarlet, radiating a maniacal, bloodthirsty rage as if he had fully succumbed to madness.
"Demonic Wrath—Destruction!!!"
Buzz buzz!!!
A torrent of rippling energy radiated from the demon leader's body. Pitch-black orbs of energy condensed rapidly in the air, swirling into existence one after another. Each orb floated in the void like malevolent meteorites, spinning relentlessly and pulsing with an unbearable, scorching heat that felt capable of annihilating entire galaxies.
The atmosphere twisted and darkened. The overwhelming aura stained the air itself, seeping into the earth, corrupting and consuming the environment in a wave of apocalyptic darkness.
But something more ominous was happening.
"The power of destruction!!"
The corners of Finn's mouth curled into a smirk, a mocking glint in his eye. He raised a finger, pointing directly at the demon leader. "Since it's already a death sentence, don't struggle. Just die."
"You!!"
The demon leader was instantly enraged. Yet before he could retort, Finn's finger pierced his chest, the glowing light around it forming a sword-shaped beam.
Psst!!
Blood sprayed from the wound. The demon leader's eyes widened in disbelief as he looked down at Finn's impaling strike.
"How... you... how can you possess such strength? This isn't even a fair fight..."
Before he could finish, Finn launched a powerful kick to the demon leader's stomach.
Boom!
The force blasted the massive demon back like a ragdoll, slamming him into the face of a nearby mountain. Rocks shattered on impact before he collapsed into a crater.
He hadn't expected this. His confidence in his power was shattered. He had thought himself capable of taking on anyone—but he had gravely underestimated Finn.
The gap in strength was colossal.
Yet the demon leader wasn't one to yield. He clawed his way out of the rubble, bloodied but unbroken.
"I told you, you're still too young," Finn said flatly.
His gaze drifted upward. The sky above had become warped and distorted, as if space itself were fraying, yet it had not yet completely collapsed.
"This kind of power... it's impressive," Finn muttered. "It's not inferior to Mephisto's level."
He smirked again, malevolent and chilling, exuding the presence of a true predator. With bloodlust simmering just beneath his skin, he looked every bit the devil in disguise.
The battle had pushed him beyond his limits, drawing out deeper reservoirs of power and awakening dormant instincts. The energy within him surged like a raging tide, born of pure will, without the need for incantations or preparation.
It wasn't magic in the traditional sense—not like the structured sorcery of Kamar-Taj or the eldritch rituals of the Darkhold. No, it was older, wilder, a singular technique imbued in his very being.
But it came with a cost: it could only be used once.
If it failed, the user would be erased—utterly and permanently.
Yet once invoked, its effect was terrifying. As long as he didn't face the likes of Mephisto himself, there was little in the multiverse that could withstand it.
"Kill!!"
A gleam flashed in Finn's eyes as he stepped forward. The distance between him and the demon leader evaporated in a blink.
Whoosh!!!
A razor-sharp blade formed in his hand, glinting with radiant energy, and he thrust it with deadly precision toward the demon's throat.
"Get out of here!!"
The demon leader roared and flung his arms open, lunging forward like a monstrous spider. He latched onto Finn's body, rendering the strike ineffective.
"You're courting death!!"
Finn's eyes narrowed, glacial and murderous.
No one could provoke him and live.
"Kill!!!"
He unleashed a primal roar. A tidal wave of energy erupted from his body, blasting the demon leader away.
Boom!
The demon crashed into the ground, skidding across the battlefield. But Finn had not escaped unscathed. Blood now stained his clothing, and a grotesque gash on his left shoulder oozed crimson.
The demon had landed a hit after all.
"Do you really think you can escape like this?!"
Finn's voice thundered with fury.
"I will not lose!!"
The demon leader's voice crackled with rage as his inner fire ignited. His desire to kill Finn surged, blinding and all-consuming.
Boom boom boom!!
Finn swung the Sword of the Vishanti in rapid, devastating arcs. Blades of energy lashed out like a rain of comets, but the demon's defense held. No matter how battered his body became, he refused to fall.
His regeneration was monstrous. Even now, he was healing.
"You're not getting out alive today!" the demon leader snarled. He clapped his hands together.
Rumble!
From his palms, arcs of black lightning erupted, divine and terrifying.
He was using his strongest ability now.
BOOM!!!
A surge of thunder exploded against Finn's chest. He staggered backward, blood trickling from his lips.
"Huh? You're not dead?"
The demon leader stared, shocked.
His technique had obliterated titans before. Only the ancient forces of the Higher Realms or the Angelic Council had withstood such might.
Why was Finn still standing?
"As I said," Finn replied, his voice calm but scathing. "You're still far behind. Your power may be formidable, but it has one fatal flaw."
He raised his weapon.
"No matter how strong your defense, you can still be killed."
Finn lunged.
"Damn!!!"
The demon leader panicked and conjured an energy shield. It flickered and cracked, already strained and close to shattering.
"Die!!!"
Finn shouted, his voice imbued with pure killing intent. The Sword of the Vishanti blazed with golden light, the divine energy of the Multiversal Axis roaring through it.
It could cleave reality itself.
"Not good!!!"
The demon leader's heart pounded. Death surged toward him like a storm.
Swish!!!
The sword came down, shimmering with cosmic wrath.
Puff!!
The blade split his head cleanly in two. His body dropped like a ragdoll.
"Haaah!!"
Finn exhaled heavily, eyes scanning the remains of his foe.
The demon leader was finally dead.
The battlefield fell silent, save for the flickering remnants of dark energy dissipating into the void. The sky began to return to normal, slowly stitching itself back together as Finn lowered his blade.
But his eyes remained cold.
He knew more battles would come.
And Mephisto was still out there.
