Married to the loveless CEO-Chapter 156: Daughter
Couple of weeks later...
{Davian, where are you?}
"I’m still at work princess but I’m heading out now." Davian replied Silvia over the phone.
{Okay, I just arrived at Olivia’s. Don’t forget the gifts and flowers}
"Roger that." Davian ended.
He started walking out of his office.
"I’m heading out now." He said to his employees.
P.S- Becca doesn’t work here anymore. She actually just left town, but not after apologizing to everyone for the last time. Some forgave her but, it will take a longer time for some to forgive her.
"Okay, send our regards to Olivia and her husband!" Sarah and Lucas said almost the same time.
"Sure will."
It was Olivia’s baby shower, she was about eight months pregnant now.
Davian soon arrived at the couples’ home which was a beautiful villa. He was escorted to the garden where it was holding, he seemed to be the latecomer because everyone was already there; Silvia, Sentencia and Fi, Silvia’s mom, Olivia’s parents, Laura and Claire, Zane and Leo’s mom and sister.
"Sorry I’m late everyone," Davian apologized. He hugged Olivia, giving her some flowers. 𝚏𝐫𝚎𝗲𝕨𝐞𝐛𝕟𝚘𝐯𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝗺
"Congratulations man," Davian said to Leo as they shared a handshake.
"You too. Heard you and Silvia are expecting as well," Leo responded and light chuckles filled the atmosphere.
Davian placed his gifts at the gift area and went to Silvia, placing a kiss on her forehead.
The rest of the evening was going well, it was fun as they participated in games and other activities including karaoke.
It was time to open up the gifts.
Olivia was sitting close to Leo as she picked up the first one.
"This one’s from Fi," Olivia started and everyone started clapping.
"What did he get?" They all anticipated.
"It’s so big, what’s in there Fi?" Sentencia asked. Fi just grinned.
"Wow, this is a whole basket of gifts," Olivia beamed.
Actually, Fi didn’t know what to get, he has been researching for days and just decided not to get just one gift.
"A night light, a teddy, a lullaby sound machine - Oh Fi, thank you." Olivia thanked.
"You’re welcome." Fi replied. He was more grateful to all of them for accepting him as a friend, as Sentencia’s fiancee and as family.
"Okay, unto the next," Olivia started as she picked up another gift.
She suddenly dropped it. "Ouch!" She yelped, her hand going to her lower abdomen.
"Olivia?" Everyone chorused.
"Olivia are you okay?" Leo held his wife, worry plastered on his face, as he watched her beautiful face contoured in pain.
"I...I think the baby is coming," she said.
"What? That can’t be, you still have a couple of weeks to go," Cia commented.
"There’s a sharp pain at my abdomen Cia," Olivia told.
Leo and Cia held her hands across their shoulders and helped her to stand up.
"You spotted Olivia," Cia mentioned. Noticing the blood stains on her dress and the couch she was sitting on.
"What?" Olivia responded looking so scared.
"Has this happened before?" Cia asked.
"No. Is everything okay Cia?" Olivia questioned, her eyes pleading for a positive response.
"Let’s go to the hospital." Cia just said.

"Ouch! It’s hurting badly!" Olivia mentioned weakly, she was sweating profusely. Beads of sweats formed on her forehead as some of her hair glued to her forehead.
They were in a car, Leo was driving and Olivia was at the backseat with Cia.
"It’s going to be alright Olivia," Cia placed Olivia’s head on her shoulder as she rubbed on her back to comfort her.
"She’s bleeding Leo," Cia said to Leo.
Leo stepped on it. His heart was pounding like never before.
Before they could get to a hospital, Olivia had already passed out.
"Doctor how’s my wife?" Leo questioned the doctor who just came out of the room Olivia was taken in. By then some of the others had already arrived at the hospital.
"She and the baby are still alive for sure but they’re weak. Her pregnancy seems to already be a delicate one and it resulted to the premature labour.
"But obviously she can’t push the baby out like a normal labour, she’d have to undergo surgery immediately. Excuse me please." The doctor tried as much as possible to explain and excused himself.
"F*CK!" Leo yelled. Hitting a wall, then his hands squeezed on his hair.
"She’s going to be alright Leo. The baby too." His mother tried to encourage and comfort him.
He felt weak in the knees and so, sat on one of the lobby chair benches. He didn’t know what he would do if anything happens to Olivia or their baby.
Some nurses were soon rolling out Olivia from the room she had been in, to the room where the surgery would be taking place.
"Olivia," Leo stood up immediately and went to her, he held her hand as she was being rolled away. She was in between consciousness and unconsciousness now. Her eyes shut and open slow as she seems to be struggling to breathe even though she was on a breathing aid.
"Olivia stay with me, okay? You’re going to be alright." Soon, she was gone into the room.
Time went by and not even a single doctor or nurse came out. The tick tock sounds from the clock in the hallway didn’t make them any less uneasy.
Finally, after hours of waiting, one of the doctors came out.
Everyone rushed towards him.
"Well, congratulations Mr. Lee. The operation was a success, your wife and daughter are out of danger,"
’Daughter’, echoed in Leo’s mind. He and Olivia didn’t do a scan to see what gender they’d be having, they wanted it to be a surprise.
Leo was beyond happy. He was really a father now.
"Thank you doctor, thank you so much," he found himself hugging the doctor.
"Your daughter came out very healthy, we don’t even have to put her in an incubator. But as for your wife, she’s unconscious for now and Mr. Leo, I can’t currently assure you that she is 100% out of danger." The doctor just had to spoil the mood.
But Leo was just glad to hear that they were alive and when there’s life, there’s hope.
"Can I see them?" He requested.
"They’re undergoing clean up right now. Just an hour more then you can see them." The doctor replied.
"Alright,"
"Alright then." The doctor excused himself.
The once tensed room brightened up with sounds of joy.
"Congrats man!" Davian congratulated Leo.
"You’re a dad now Leo," Colleen said.
"And just yesterday, you were this annoying big brother of mine." She added with chuckles.
"Congrats Leo," his mom hugged him. "I can’t believe I’m a grandma now."
"Huhu, I can’t wait to see them." Sentencia added.
The joy and excitement in the room knew no bounds.
