Married to the loveless CEO-Chapter 125: Punished or pardoned
"CEO Leonard, we have put everything into consideration including what your secretary here had stated. So it has been concluded that you will be put on probation till Mr. and Mrs Yul return from their vacation.
"This meeting will be held again by then and hopefully, you would have gathered enough evidence by then,"
With that, the meeting was concluded and adjourned.
"Probation?" Colleen inquired when Leo had returned home that day and was currently in his study.
"Yes Colleen," Leo responded.
"I...I really don’t know what to do. When are mom and dad returning again?" Leo asked.
"In a couple of days time," Colleen responded.
"I talked with Gabriel, he stood his ground and never admitted to me that he is trying to frame you," Colleen informed.
"Is there really no way out of this for you?" Colleen questioned.
"No. Unless, Gabriel admits that he is trying to frame me or rather, if we can get him to admit to it," Leo replied.
"Then I will try to get him to," Colleen responded and she exited the study room.
She found Olivia just around the place, "This is all your fault!"
Olivia was a little taken aback, "How is it my fault?"
"Since you came into my brother’s life, nothing has been going right! You brought along with you to this villa, your ill luck and bad omen," Colleen fumed.
Olivia didn’t know if she should laugh out loud right now. "Get out of my way!" Colleen dashed passed Olivia, shoving her shoulders.
Scoff.
Olivia was just glad that the Yul couple would be returning soon, then Colleen wouldn’t have any more reason to still remain in the villa.
Since the accusations which were laid upon Leo occurred, everyone has been so busy, including Colleen, so busy to even think of picking on her and Olivia was kinda enjoying this short period of peace.
Leo has become even more stoic and cold but she doesn’t care less. He even spends more time at his study room these days, sometimes late night, even when he returns home exhausted from work and he skips his meals.
She can’t really lie though, she does feel a little bad for him.

Davian was just returning from his therapy session. He was still at the hospital and hasn’t been discharged yet.
He was on a regular wheelchair and Silvia assisted in pushing it as she was with him. Today’s therapy session wasn’t a total bummer like last time.
It was still a little painful but it was bearable.
"Silvia I have told you countless times, I’m totally fine. You don’t have to be here twenty four-seven, what about work?" Davian brought up the issue again as they approached his room.
"And I already told you countless times as well that you have nothing to worry about. Don’t you want me to be here?" she responded.
"Of course that’s not it but...what about your work? You don’t have to skip work to spend time with me," he pressed on.
"I really don’t have to be at work for I to work Davian. I have decided to work from home till you are fully recovered," she replied.
"Okay, it’s just...I just don’t want a situation whereby something would happen in your absence. It will be all my fault, I really don’t want to be a burden or a bother to you," Davian continued.
"Stop saying that Davian. You are not, I’m happy doing this, being there for you in your toughest moments.
"The company is doing fine and nothing will happen in my absence. It is in good managing hands and I am still working, just...from home," she elaborated and pecked his cheek as he muttered an ’Okay’.
They shared a small smile.
When they got to the doors leading to Davian’s room in the hospital, they met Leah who stood by the door, flowers and a fruit basket in her hands.
"Hi guys," she started.
"Hi Silvia... Davian, how is your therapy going?" Leah added.
"Still a pain in the a**," Davian humored and Leah chuckled to it.
"Let’s go in please," Silvia suggested and so they went into the room and Davian was soon on the bed.
"Davian, Silvia...I know you guys must be wondering why I still show my face around you both after all that has happened. But, I care so much about you Davian and I know I don’t have the best relationship with you Silvia but I don’t want any trouble.
"I want to make amends with you both and I want us to end things up on a friendly note," Leah expressed.
There was silence for some while.
"Well, we accept your offer of making amends with us," Silvia was the one who responded.
Her eyes went to Davian, who was already staring at her and they locked gazes. It was as if Davian was inquiring with his eyes, ’Are you sure about this?’
Silvia found herself nodding before she turned her attention back to Leah and flashed a small smile at her.
Leah returned the smile.
Silvia didn’t want any trouble as well but she wasn’t agreeing because she now trusts Leah all because of her little speech but you know the saying;
’Keep your friends close and your enemies closer,’

Mr. and Mrs Yul soon returned from their vacation. Mr. Yul summoned both his sons immediately he received the news of what was going on.
The trio sat at the study room in the Yuls’ mansion.
"Are all of these accusations against you true, Leonard?" Mr. Yul questioned.
"Of course not, they aren’t." Leo responded.
"I do trust you son and I know you aren’t capable of such-"
"So it is I that you don’t trust?" Gabriel cuts in.
"Gabriel-"
"You have always colored me black. Always put me behind my younger brother’s shadow," Gabriel continued, interrupting Mr. Yul again.
"Don’t talk to our father that way," Leonard cautioned.
"It’s the way you are, you have long made dad to lose his trust in you. And I can’t prove it yet but I know you are just trying to frame me, so that you can become CEO when you aren’t even worthy of the position," Leo added.
"And what makes you so worthy, huh? You are just favored," Gabriel replied.
"I’m on the seat today because I worked hard for it and I deserved it but what were you doing all these while, you were busy living your life to the fullest with the money I work so hard to make for the company.
"Now you think you can just come out from nowhere, with some f*cking falsified crap and frame me, so you can become CEO?!" Leo just lost his cool at that point.
"I can prove that those evidences against you weren’t fabricated but you, what can you prove? You can’t even prove that you aren’t guilty of this and father, you are just going to take his word for it?!" Gabriel directed the last question to Mr. Yul.
Gabriel was already standing up by now, Mr. Yul didn’t respond.
"I love this company just like you all did and I might have not contributed anything to its success right now but I will make a good CEO too.
"I love this company and I will protect it if its in danger, even if it’s protecting it from my own brother. Why don’t you believe me this once father?!" Gabriel demanded.
Leo clapped his hands, "Well what a speech! I got to give it to you Gabriel, you should have been an actor. You two face lying scum!"
Silence followed after that outburst between the brothers.
Mr. Yul sighed.
"Leo, these are serious accusations against you and if you can’t prove your innocence, I will be forced to take immediate disciplinary action on you," Mr. Yul told.
Leo couldn’t believe his ears. But that’s right, he really needed evidence to show for it otherwise he wouldn’t be able to escape this even if his father is in his favor.
Another meeting was soon held in Yul enterprises, with Mr. and Mrs Yul present and it was to give the final judgement on the issue.
"Leonard, you have been a really excellent CEO to Yul enterprises and we believe that Yul enterprises wouldn’t be where it is today without your hard work and dedication and that’s why the board members and share holders are divided," Mr. Yul paused.
"Some are against the fact that you should be disciplined for this, they don’t accept the fact that you could be capable of this scandalous act. While some believe you are and are in full support of the disciplinary action," Mr. Yul continued.
"But without you providing evidence to back up your claims of being innocent of this, it makes it harder not to undertake the disciplinary action. But because you have been a trusted and diligent person all these years.
"We are going to give everyone fair chances. We shall have a vote between us and decide if you should be punished or pardoned," Mr. Yul elaborated.
