Married to my nemesis-Chapter 229: What’s going on
The crowd quiet down shocked by Arthur’s reply, he really wanted to play with Jordan.
Meanwhile he had a smile on his face as he walked forward, a grin on his face he stretched his hand towards him for a handshake.
Arthur looked down hesitating for a moment and then he raised his head towards Jordan.
"What are you looking at kiddo, I’m not going to bite. Besides, is a game we’re going to play and you made it seem like I’m going to pursuit your existence," Jordan stated with a glint of wickedness behind his tone he patiently waited for Arthur to give him a handshake.
Arthur gulped his saliva feeling disappointed inwardly since he knew Jordan wasn’t just any student.
He knew that something was going to come out of playing with him.
He took his hand as Jordan placed a satisfied smile and then he requested.
"I know this is a gam but I really want George to be happy. So if you win then I’ll do anything you want and if I win, you’ll have to do anything I ask of you. "
" But that’s not among the rules, " Arthur voiced and then he turned to the students.
" Seriously, guys are we going to listen to what he’s saying? " He turned his gaze to Jordan.
" Don’t tell me your scared about what is going to happen. I thought you were an expert at this game so there’s no way you can lose. "
" Okay, fine. I’ll do whatever you want, " Arthur stated frustratedly.
He had enough of having his classmates against him just for something just as a game.
Jordan smirked and then took the headset as they began the game.
The other classmates looked at the screens anticipating the winner of the first round as they watched the two characters battle for some moments and then, for the first round, Arthur won.
Arthur had a smile as he knew this was an opportunity to finally ask Jordan to stay away from him.
He was surely going to win with the way things were going on, he just needed to beat him in the other three rounds.
The other round came up and this time Jordan was prepared to make his combat mood, with thoughts of how he was going to use the cheat codes, he began to hit Arthur’s character severely and soon enough Arthur’s character was fallen to the ground.
Arthur felt a bit nervous within the heart but his thoughts reminded him he still had the opportunity.
Meanwhile, Jordan raised the headset a bit as he watched Arthur prepare for the next round just for him to intentionally tease him.
"I can see you loosing chicken boy," he troubled him but Arthur ward off the thoughts and then when the second fight came up, the fight took a while not until, Jordan won again.
Arthur gulped his saliva, he had lost twice and the last time, if he lose—
He prepared himself memorizing each moves Jordan used in defeating him and then this time he was just so close to beating Jordan with a little heart left not until Jordan summoned a cheat code which executed Jordan’s character.
A shock full on Arthur’s expression was filled with stunned as he turned to Jordan without words.
A smirk on Jordans expression as he unveiled the headset and then disposed the headset to the side without a care.
Arthur was full with shock as he wondered how Jordan was able to beat him with just the little life he had.
From his knowledge about the game there was no way he could have beaten him that easily unless it meant Jordan had cheated.
His mates rejoiced to his accomplishment as they hailed him.
Jordan had a lot of joy within, this was the first process he needed so as to get ride of this boy and from what was showing, it seems his goal was going to be accomplished.
He just needed to wait for a while.
"I knew Jordan was going to win, there was no way Arthur could beat the rest four times in a roll," one of the classmates commented as Arthur turned to him in surprise.
"No, I didn’t do anything, besides, Jordan was the one who cheated, there was no way he could get an extra strength to defeat me that easily," Arthur evoked as Jordan gasped, he deliberately made a shock expression as he placed his hand on his mouth in unbelievable.
And then he turned to his mates.
"Seriously, now he’s going to accuse me of cheating when I did nothing. Is it because you were defeated by me?" Jordan stated as Arthur shook his head.
Tears piled up in his eyes he felt the nerves to hit him but then he folded the hands in a fist.
"You’re lying Jordan, tell everyone the truth."
"I should so what Arthur? Okay, fine. If that’s what you want to hear then listen carefully, I cheated. So tell me, what are you going to do despite hearing what you want? Do you want to hit me or what? Are you going to get in a fight with me?" Jordan tried to evoke within him but as Arthur remembered the words of his mother, he shook his head knowing Jordan was someone who he shouldn’t get in a fight with.
At least for the sake of his mother.
"You claim that i did that but i can also the same to you, the others too can say that and point a finger on you. The people you won they didn’t say a thing so why is it when it was in your case you’re stuttering."
"I promise I’m telling the truth, Jordan tell everyone what you did, tell them that I didn’t do it," Arthur managed to speak as his voice blubbered by the tears that plied up within his eyes, he looked at him as he shook his head in disagreement.
"Okay, then. I want everyone to hear this carefully, the game we just played, I cheated. According to Arthur he stated that I cheated so I’m taking the fact that actually did so," he proclaimed but then his gaze shot at Arthur with a cunning look.
"Now that I’ve done as you wanted me to do, tell me who is going to listen to the words that you stated."
Arthur looked around to scan the expressions on his mates, the looks proved that they didn’t believe any of his words.
They all thought he was a cheat.
Really?
Were they going to believe this guy?
The tears that stuck in his eyes began to stream down his cheeks as he shook his head.
"I’m telling you that I didn’t do it. I didn’t do anything!" He tried to convince but the mistrust was vivid.
"Arthur just take it as it’s supposed to be. You agreed before that whatever happens then you were going to do everything that I say, so I think is time that you do as I want. After all the request can’t just go that easily without you accomplishing it."
"No, I wouldn’t! Mother stated that is never good to lie, so why are you lying? I wouldn’t do as you’ve said since you cheated."
" Well Jordan my mother thought me that everything is business, whatever goes on, goes on, and when it’s about a deal, " he gave Arthur a good gaze.
" In our family we make sure every person fulfils their deal, " he said in a cold and curt tone as Arthur gulped his saliva.
"So should we begin with the deal or you probably want to go inform a teacher," Jordan took his thoughts.
He knew it was safe if he told his teachers but then if he promised something then why shouldn’t he do what he had stated.
"Okay, I’ll do it," Arthur managed to say as he wiped the tears on his cheek and then he sniffed his running eyes.
A devilishly gaze crossed through Jordan’s expression and then he smiled.
"Well my deal is not that hard. All I need you to do is for you to confess that you hate your mother, say that you wished she dies because she’s lied to you. Say that she was the one who destroyed your family."
Arthur shook his head.
"I’m not going to say it," Arthur stated as Jordan smiled just at that moment their teacher came into the class as the students dispersed towards their seats.
Arthur was about to leave but then Jordan took a grip on Arthur’s hands.
"You’re not going anywhere without doing what I’ve asked you to do," Jordan intimidated as Arthur tried to retrieve his hand but Jordan didn’t let go, a grunt came out Arthur’s lips as he turned to his teacher and then called out to her.
"Miss Aurora!" He called out in panic as his teacher shot her gaze to her, she saw the confined look on Arthur’s look watching Jordan have a grip on Arthur’s hand.
"What’s going on?" She asked.
But then Jordan placed an angelic smile on, he wasn’t going anywhere without getting what he wanted.
