Malevolent Warlock: Sin Of Eternity-Chapter 300: Sky City
" Boo!!!!"
"Get out of our village"
"Warlock scum"
Outside the mountain village scores of villagers could be seen with pitchforks and clubs chasing down a raggedy Carriage down the snowy road.
A small inn in the village had by some mistake taken in a warlock and his friends as guests, which alone was a big crime but this warlock was soon spotted by a hero of sky palace which lead to a brawl that nearly leveled half the village.
Homes were destroyed in the aftermath, businesses burned to the ground. But at the end, the hero from sky palace was able to win and send the warlocks packing.
Or so they thought.
"Hmmm, Sky City huh?" inside the Raggedy carriage, Leon sat with one leg crossed over the other and with a map of some sorts on his lap.
This was a detailed map of the sky palace territory reaching from the cold mountains all the way to the sea. And on a particular spot of the map an X marked the spot of a city.
This was Leon’s way into sky palace.
,,,,,,
"I don’t think it’s a good idea to open the gates at this time"
"Yes, we can take care for the war by ourselves, help from the powers in the central continent is a waste of time"
"He’s right, opening it too frequently can sound like we are not capable, besides, you never know who’s eyes are on the entrance….what if they come?"
On a round table inside a grand hall, several individuals in varying outfits and uniforms sat in a circle arguing.
"Look, there’s no way in hell that those fools at the monestary would ask for help from warlocks without first getting assurance from the old monsters in Trafalgar" a child no older than 12 spoke firmly at the helm of the table, his tone filled with frustration.
Dispite being the strongest person here, he was bound to the decision of the palace lords. Without their express agreement, such a trivial task as opening the doors through the needles eye was impossible for him.
"If we are overrun by monsters, I promise you, I will take you all down with me!" The kid gritted his teeth as the blue diamond on his forehead glowed with a threatening splendor.
He was angry.
His main goal here was to guard against the hoard in Trafalgar and protect the needles eye by all means, if he were to let these monsters flood into the central region the human clans would punish him severely….but before then he would kill everyone in sky palace first.
"Hehe, brother Thalion its really not that serious. We can allow for a brief opening of the gate….we just want to make sure the people coming in aren’t….too ambitious" Right opposite him on the table a man in his prime spoke coyly.
They cared so much about who was allowed through those gates for one reason and one reason alone,
Power.

None of them wanted someone who had designs on the palace lord seats to pass through that gate and refuse to go back.
Despite the fact that this was how most of them got here in the first place.
"Sigh, what’s the use of asking for reinforcements if we can’t bring in powerful people" Thalion scoffed, but he also understood that he didn’t have a choice in this matter, these people would not budge.
At least they would have more people….it beats not having anyone reliable at all.
"Okay I agree, as a show of force we should do it the same day we accept disciples, it will boost moral" Thalion continued as they made plans for the future.
Then a few minutes later, all the high ranking officials of sky palace left the room feeling accomplished. They had successfully averted a situation that could threaten their seats.
Today was a good day
"Hmp, they have totally forgotten the reason why they are here" Thalion sneered watching the backs of the palace lords as they left the meeting hall together like a pack of sky foxes.
These people were here to protect the only pathway into the central continent with all they had, even death wasnt to be an obstacle to fulling this duty of theirs.
But for some reason, down the line they had somehow forgotten this and were now more concerned with consolidating their power in the palace than actually doing what they were here for.
"You don’t even bother yourself Thalion"
As the kid sneered in disappointment an eerie dark and twisted voice resounded at the back of the main chair where Thalion sat.
At this instant, there was something that seemed to be a communication orb of some sorts. But this wasn’t a normal one though as it emitted a forbidden energy signature that could cause anyone to feel unease.
Thalion looked over his shoulder with frustration at the orb as if he wanted nothing more than to smash it with his bare hands.
"The child of god will come, and he was succeed in crossing the needles eye and there will be nothing you can do to stop it" from within the orb, the voice continued .
"But don’t fret, fate has sent me to take the life of this so called child of god, when he crosses to the other side he will be mine" the voice spoke word after word feeling the room with an unsettling feeling of murder and death.
It felt like, this was more like a grudge than a service to the central continent, but why would this being have it out for That kid?
…..
Meanwhile, outside a city that boardered a giant endless sea, a raggedy carriage wobbled its way through the pathway to the city gates.
"Hm? Someone is talking about me?" Atop the carriage was a young bald man with a leather jacket reaching his knees tilted his head with Confusion as he whipped his nose.
This was of course, Ni’an
