The story went like this, in the 5th century of humanities presence in finor world, a planet encompassing war broke out engulfing all of finor in the flames of war.

The scale of the war was staggering, claiming millions of lives and leading to the extinction of two of Finor’s greatest races—the Witch Race and the Nocturnal Race. The devastation left scars that still echo to this day.

In the aftermath, as a safeguard against outside threats, the Human Emperor and the five great factions that remained erected an immense wall around the heart of the continent, sealing off the Central Region from the desolate lands beyond.

This wall, towering and unyielding, stands to this day—a monument to the ages. Its power is so formidable that even level five existences cannot cross it. The Human Emperor himself once admitted he could not breach its barrier easily.

Right now what separated Leon from his goals was this very wall. And to cross it, he would need to spend a mountain of resources….which even now he couldn’t comprehend.

Thankfully though, Bran had found him a way out of this place.

The lightening monk.

This individual was crossing the wall to the central continent and would take Leon along, it was a golden opportunity for him that he could not afford to miss.

"Boss…" with a look of disappointment, Gunta looked at Leon. It was as if he was about to break out and cry like a frustrated baby.

He had abandoned everything to help Leon train his army, and now Leon was going to leave him once again just like he did in eldoria. That was unfair. Why couldn’t he come with him on his adventures? Did he know how hard he begged before Liana even brought him here?

"I know, but if I took you along with me, who would take care of my men? Just thinking of the amount of resources I put into them is giving me a heartache. We can’t just let them go on their merry way can we?" Leon patted Gunta on the shoulder comfortingly.

He had no idea how this kid got so attached to him, they were just allies of circumstance. This was the problem with hanging around children.

"Yeah….i guess you’re right" Gunta turned to the army of six thousand strong below and nodded his head. Leon had indeed spent a lot to groom these guys, it made sense that he wanted someone here to make sure they didn’t get killed overnight.

"Your new mission is clear kid, one day when I come back I want to see a powerful force waiting for me. Name them something really cool" Leon smiled then turned around to walk away slowly.

"Will do" Gunta saluted while Liana lingered behind him like a shadow.

"You’re ready to set off?" The lightening monk asked a calm expression on his face.

"Yes," Leon nodded looking at the old decrepit carrraige behind the lightening monk. It looked like it could barely move, how was this going to facilitate their journey?

"Hehehe I’m not rich like you guys, this will have to do." The lightening monk said looking at the two individuals beside Leon.

At least he understood that he couldn’t bring with him any more warlocks.

The only way to cross over to the central continent was through the temporal pathway that existed deep with sky palace.

That meant that their destination would be mage territory.

Leon couldn’t bring a lot of warlocks on this trip, it would draw too much attention. Arian and Ember were enough.

"Okay, let’s go on ahead" Leon smiled, he could probably get something better to ride in, but that would be incredibly rude of him.

So they got into the carriage and set forth out of the capital city of luminara and straight towards the direction of sky palace territory.

"He’s gone, let’s get on our way" Thane who stood far away said to the giant figure of Kang who stood not too far away.

"I’m not going with you, you leave, I’ll go by myself" Kang responded, clearly letting Thane know that he still didn’t trust him. Even with bran as their connection he wouldn’t trust thane one bit.

"Suit yourself, i don’t have the time for this anyway" thane sneered before facing a random direction and disappearing into the very wind itself.

He didn’t trust Kang either, but bran had demanded for him specifically. He just could not say no.

So, even though they were going to the same place, the both departed following different routes.

Far away inside the sky palace territory.

"Those are sky palace mages!! Look at their attire"

"Wow are they going to join the war?"

"Oh my god, is that Technique God Carlson?"

In a small town covered in white snowflakes and cool air, several individuals in sky blue apearls varying in styles walked through the streets while waving.

The war in the undergod territory had gone into full swing so the palace Lords had sent out their most talented individuals to protect the interests of their people.

"We should take a rest here before heading out. The snow is getting too much" rubbing his hands together, a young man with Silver hair and a chilly look on his face spoke.

Even after so long, he couldn’t get use to the constantly changing weather of the Sky palace’s territory. This place was just too fast.

"Yeah, that makes sense" beside the young man another nodded in agreement.

Both of them were from the same hall in sky palace, as a consequence, they were both allies. Besides slowing down wouldn’t have much of an impact on the war. What they could do was still quite minimal alone.

"Okay….lets find an inn" Carlson nodded turning to an Inn atop a small hill far away from the village.

He was quite famous in the territory, so he would bring too much attention if he hung around in the town. But an inn out of town was just alright.

Soon the group split up with some going around to gather supplies and others simply enjoying the atmosphere of the area.

It would be a long time till they saw such peace again after joining the war.
