Malevolent Warlock: Sin Of Eternity-Chapter 263: Untitled
"Incoming"
While they scaled the mountain, a voice resounded from the back, alerting them of new arrivals. Behind them, the forces of the Golden Griffin Clan and Unique Claw Clan were fast approaching.
The fusing had just begun, and the myriad clans had found various mountains to occupy while they waited for it to finish.
But for the top three contenders—like the Unique Claw Clan-Titanium Giant Clan alliance, the Golden Griffin Clan, and the Blood Rock Alliance—there could only be one mountain.
Yi Mountain itself.
It was the highest peak in the whole mountain range, and from past experiences, it would be the site where the biggest Rocs would prefer to fuse. While the others settled, they just couldn’t—it was the top or nothing.
"Hold on," Kang nodded upon hearing the warning. He positioned his leg firmly on the back of the serpent before abruptly turning it to the side, causing them to deviate a little.
There were many ways to climb up a mountain without losing ground. What was important here was making sure that when he got to the top, he was able to keep it. And for that, all his allies needed to be alive, so the normally confrontational Kang decided to avoid this fight.
That, of course, didn’t mean his attackers would let him go.
"Beast Actualization: Golden Wing Spear!"
A beam of golden light shone from behind them, barreling over with insane might. It quickly reached the edge of the mountain and curved, heading directly toward Kang’s head.
"Fall!!" With the corner of his eyes, Kang commanded, and in an instant, the golden spear was ripped apart, immediately forcing the assailant to cough up blood and fall out of the sky.
There was no two ways about it—Kang was by far the strongest existence in the competition this time, and he had proven it just then. To rip apart a Beast Actualization like it was nothing? This was a feat reserved only for those who had touched that level.
"Rengoku!!" After stopping the attack, Kang barked at Rengoku as if hurrying him up. They were normally at odds with each other, but he knew deep down that the Fire General Rengoku was his most reliable ally when things really went down.
"I’m ready," Rengoku, who was seated right behind Kang in a lotus position, said with calm. Ten years ago, they had joined hands to force the Golden Griffin Clan’s hand, but even they weren’t as ruthless as right now.
These guys were actively trying to kill Kang. And he should know—he was there last time as well, but it didn’t get to this. There was no way he was going to sit back and let his fellow disciple be ganged up on, no matter how much he despised him.
"Beast Actualization: Fire Wyrm," Rengoku spoke softly, and right before them, an apparition of a giant wyrm formed.
Its scales blazed with an unquenchable flame, causing the air around it to distort. Its eyes also glowed with an irresistible lure that sent shudders down the spine of whomever gazed into them.
Beast Actualizations were separated into different tiers based on their quality in terms of bloodline (potential) and strength. For example, the attack just now was of the second-lowest tier—The Zeta tier.
There was also the Theta tier, the Nu tier, and the Kappa tier. Each tier was greater in disparity and potential than the last by fivefold each.
That is, the difference between Zeta and Theta was fivefold, then Theta and Nu was twenty-fivefold.
Rengoku’s Actualization was of the highest grade here—the Kappa tier, which was fifty times as strong as the attack just now.
—Roarrrrrr!!!!!
The giant wyrm roared in the sky as its body became a beam of blinding light and a source of profuse heat.
The Flame General Rengoku was a beast on the battlefield, who had won over a mountain top ten years ago. Now he was here not just for himself, but to help his ’senior’ reach the top.
Apart from Kang, the second-biggest threat here was not actually anyone else other than Rengoku.
This was why they had to team up; they couldn’t take the Blood Rock Alliance with these two monsters on the same team.

In the blink of an eye, several attacks were sent flying in the depths of a dark cave underground. Flashes of blinding light followed with the indescribable sound of steel cutting into flesh.
Leon and Bran’s battle at this point was already full-blown, with both parties going at it with the intent to kill. All the pent-up aggression and killing intent between these two figures were laid down here today.
Bran hated Leon for many reasons. He left him and his family for dead after taking his son’s body. He further went on to steal from him and humiliate him. There was no one in the world he wanted to kill more than Leon right now.
But try as he might, the fucker just seemed to be undying.
"Hehe," Leon threw a backflip and landed several meters away from Bran, whilst still maintaining eye contact. A small mistake when fighting this old man would end his life.
It didn’t seem like it, but Leon was actually losing this fight.
All across the cave floor were puddles of what seemed to be water. They rippled when they clashed and splashed when hit—all the behavior of water. But it wasn’t water.
It was Leon’s blood.

This blade, called Slayer, had a special function: Bleed. When cut with it, one would lose blood uncontrollably for a set period of time, forcing whoever was on the receiving end to either get increasingly weaker or ultimately die from blood loss.
It was a cruel weapon for a cruel man like Bran.
But for some reason, Leon was still standing. He had lost more blood than seemed normal for a warlock, but this little fucker was still standing!!! It frustrated Bran to no end.
"Why won’t you just roll over and die?" Bran placed the blade on his shoulder as he asked with a tilted head.
"I should die? Why would I want to do that, old man? I invited you here; wouldn’t it be rude for me to just leave you here alone?" Leon inquired mockingly, further emphasizing that he was the one who had led Bran into this trap.
"Ahh? Okay then, show me what you have in store for me, kid. I want to see what my Slayer blade can’t kill."
If they continued this fight, Leon would surely die; it was but a matter of time. If there was something that could withstand the Slayer blade, then it definitely wasn’t in the three regions.
The kid had bitten off more than he could chew, and he couldn’t admit it.
"Hehe," Leon smiled bitterly before rising into the air slowly while looking down at Bran. It was evident that he couldn’t beat Bran by this alone—he needed to take it up by several notches.
"Forged by blood, forged by flame,
From shadows deep, I shall rise to claim.
Let the heavens shake, let the earth quake.
Beast Actualization: Malevolent Drake!"
As Leon spoke, a giant red creature materialized behind him. Its body was that of a serpent, and its teeth that of a furious beast. It had scaly skin and wings that stretched wide with several glowing rings of light around its body.
"Creeeee!!!!"
The creature released an ear-piercing screech that shook the cave, forcing rocks to break and fall while it flapped its giant wings behind Leon, bringing a feel of majesty to him.
Leon had summoned a beast apparition, marking his entry into the prestigious stage of level 4. But he didn’t just do so as a Blood Serpent Clan member; he had unlocked the bloodline of the Drake of old
