Malevolent Warlock: Sin Of Eternity-Chapter 234: The Celestial Merchant Group
"Hmmmm, sorry to ask, but do you by any chance think I’m stupid?"
The appraiser caused a commotion in order to scare Leon into letting go of the jewelleries. No one wanted to be painted as a scammer, especially someone as old as Leon. However, he didn’t expect for Leon to challenge him outrightly.
"You.."
However, before he could speak one more word, a Gigantic pressure mounted on him from behind causing his chest to be heavy. In his greed, he had forgotten one crucial thing.
The people that would come for the blood unity auction were usually from infulencial backgrounds. If it were a kid standing infront of him, he could probably scare him without strength....but this man was old....abnormally old, and yet he still had the strength to move and be here.
"You should watch how you speak young man" Leon smirked. In fact the pressure wasn’t coming from him, but the way Leon stood in front made it seem like he was the originator of this energy.
"I....." The old appraiser stepped back....but surprisingly he didn’t fall to the floor like last time, because standing right behind him was a tall figure in similar appraiser Apparel looking directly at the kaga puppet.
"Huh?" The old appraiser turned and froze at the sight of who was behind him.
"Senior Franklin" Immediately he bowed his head as an indescribable fear shot down his spine.
The blood unity auction was held by the blood clans, but was operated by the biggest merchant organisation in all the sacred land.
The celestial merchant group.
This groups influence was massive and had not only warlocks as part of them, bit also humans and other monstrous beings. It was a very mysterious organisation in respect to how much power it could muster at any given point in time.
It usually went unnoticed with very few employees....at least that was until business was involved. Then it would suddenly become a giant.
"What’s going on here"

The tall man asked while maintaining a clear glow in his eyes. He was unlike the old appraiser an official member of the celestial merchant group.
A feared existence
"Senior Franklin, I...." The old appraiser tried to explain...but was suddenly cut off by Franklin as he turned to Leon’s kaga puppet. However, it seemed like he was not the least be interested in it...but the sack on its shoulders.
"I’ll give you 600,000 phase 1 blood gems for these" without wasting a moment of time, the tall Franklin stepped forward and and said to Leon firmly.
600,000...this was a hefty amount, approximately 600 million gold coins. It was maddening. But of course this was reasonable...in fact beyond it.
Leon estimated these jewelleries to be worth at most 400 million gold coins. After all, it was the most precious in the treasury of the Dalriss family.
600,000 was a huge leap though. However, Leon understood why he was doing this. He could already sense something.
(I can deal with him)
The auction wasn’t completely Leon’s goal, what he really wanted was a good connection.
A person capable of helping him distribute his products without it being traced back to him.
"Okay" Leon nodded affirming that he was ready to go ahead with the transaction.
"Here," Franklin handed Leon a card with a two pure white wing inscriptions on it stretching outwards in opposite directions.
"It has a limit of 40 million phase 1 blood gems....for any future business" Frank said then proceeded to lead Leon away from the booth and into an office a few meters away.
From beginning to end, they had completely ignored the existence of the old appraiser as if he were but a fly.
"Looking at it agitates blood to no end, I wonder why that fool couldn’t put two and two together" inside the office, Franklin stated while staring a bottled up powder infront.
This was the purest batch of Leon’s blood misty lilly powder he had made...when he noticed the appraiser being dubious, he set a tiny portion off and drifted it towards the office at the back hoping to catch the eye of someone in charge.
Luckily, it actually worked, Someone who had real power perceived it and came out to investigate its source.
"Hehe, this isn’t any booster you’d see normally on the streets.....you know that right?" Leon asked as he placed his wrinkly hand around the bottle and caressed it.
Boosters, these were similar to performance henning substances. They had the ability to temporarily boost the potency of the blood in whomsoever used them..
Unfortunately, they usually came at severe costs. Including, and not limited to complete blockage of future prospects. Taking them was a last ditch effort.
"Of course.....so tell me what’s different about them" Franklin smiled and sat back into his chair.
Leon right now looked like one of those old monsters who would spend decades in closed door sessions to develop or experiment on new things.
The creature behind him was testament to that.
"Hehe, all you young people and being so Conservative....call someone in" Leon smiled and shook his head.
Explaining what it was didn’t suit the caliber of the blood misty lilly powder Leon developed.
A show of its abilities was more suited.
"Okay!!! Xin, come in here for a minute" Franklin called forth and the old appraiser ran In from outside and quickly bowed.
He didn’t want to think of what would happen if he offended mister Franklin. It would be a death sentence.
"Take a whiff of this and tell me how it makes you feel" Franklin pulled forward the bottle forward and said.
He was too precious to try an experimental drug on, the old man though...he basically had no future, he could try it.
"Yes master Franklin" the appraiser smiled bitterly. The tables had turned drastically.
He, who had treated Leon like a nobody was now being used as a guinea pig for his experimental drug.
His luck was the worst.
