"Hm? And you are?" Divine kangs face squeezed up as his gaze periced Victoria’s very person....it wasn’t until 5 seconds later that realized who she was.

Kang scoffed in his mind he could kill both of them easily.

A man with a mowhawk and red robes slowly descended towards Leon and Victoria.

"Rengoku" Divine Kang smirked bitterly as he saw the man with the mowhawk. He was one of the few people that kang was a bit cautious of.

"In the flesh" a gentle breeze rolled through his hair while he stared down at Divine Kang.

Kang was in truth, the strongest one among them, even going as far as representing the entire clan. when it came to talent.....he was their best.

However, kang had an attitude problem. He thought he was better than everyone and was quick to engage in battles, this was his greatest flaw and what held him back this whole while.

"You have grown wings huh" kang spoke in a cold and threatening voice. Even though from here, he could already sense that Rengoku had improved by leaps and bounds.....but did kang stay stagnant?

For this to end a compromise needed to be reached kang was alot of things, but he wasn’t a fool. If he wanted the treasure, he wouldn’t try to take it so openly infront of the main hall knowing fully well that the supreme leader might be watching.

There was only one reason for this behaviour, it seemed like the supreme leader was in support of Bran taking back his Grimoire. Abeit not saying it outloud, this was quite easy to decipher, even Leon knew this.

"Here" Leon hesitated, but ended up tossing A green Grimoire over to Rengoku. He didn’t have much of a choice in this matter.

"Good," after receiving the Grimoire Rengoku turned to kang and spoke.

"This Grimoire will be given back on two conditions"

The supreme leader wanted them to return it, but he was reasonable too. He knew that Bran had tried to kill Leon on trafalgar forest, so he wouldn’t mind Leon extorting Bran and kang.

If anything, it was a form of compensation.

"State them" he was definitely stronger than Rengoku, but a fight was not something he would like to engage in so randomly. Rengokus limits were a mystery to him after so long apart.

"Okay, if he trys anything you can attack him and I won’t interfer" Kang of course paid no attention to Brans words and directly accept the first condition.

The supreme leader had made them aware that they would have to stop even before now so it wasn’t something new.

"What about your second condition?" Kang continued.

"Hmmm, You hand over the Drake Pill to the boy?" Rengokus next few words caused Kang to frown deeply.

"The Drake Pilll has no usefulness to you or the boy, only those from that bloodline can use it....there’s...." Kang was about to refuse adamantly when....

"I....see" kang calmed down and pulled out a box from a small pouch on his side. "Here, it’s useless to me"

He got this pill a long time ago and saw it as one of his most useless treasures as it didn’t match his bloodline at all. Foe it to be useful in this negotiation was a miracle.

"Good, here you go" After receiving the pill Rengoku threw the Grimoire towards bran who caught it immediately.
