Make Me Moan Mr Therapist.-Chapter 100: It’s time.
"Oh, I see," Alex finally replied.
All the while, he swallowed hard and pushed himself up onto his feet, his chair scraping softly against the floor.
What’s wrong with him now? Gabe thought inwardly, watching Alex too closely. What I said... did it hurt him?
A tight feeling settled in Gabe’s chest. Does he really have feelings for me? Or is it just lust? Does he only want to fuck me and nothing more?
"Well..." Alex said after a brief pause, his voice steady but forced. "You three can continue eating. I just need to quickly check on something outside."
Without waiting for a response, he turned and walked out of the living room, his steps purposeful, almost hurried.
Outside, the compound was calm and beautifully kept. Flowers lined the walkway, their soft colors blending together, their scent lingering gently in the air. Normally, Alex found the place soothing. Today, it did nothing to quiet the unease in his chest.
Why do I feel hurt whenever he turns me down? Alex wondered, running a hand through his hair as he exhaled slowly. Or whenever he mentions other people?
His jaw tightened. Don’t tell me I’ve fallen for him. That’s impossible. I don’t fall for anyone.
He scoffed quietly. It’s probably just pity. That has to be it.
"Why did you suddenly stop eating and come all the way out here?"
Damien’s voice came from behind him, causing Alex to turn.
"Is it because of what Gabe said?" Damien continued, stepping closer. "About testing the therapy session you had with him on someone else?"
"Oh—no," Alex replied quickly, forcing a light chuckle that didn’t quite reach his eyes. "That’s not it. I just needed some fresh air, that’s all."
He tilted his head slightly. "Why are you out here too?"
Damien studied him for a moment before answering, a knowing look in his eyes.
"Well," he said slowly, "who would be happy hearing that someone they had therapy sessions with—someone they got wild with, someone they’re starting to like—is talking about practicing sexual things with other people?"
He let out a short laugh, shaking his head. "Still, you don’t need to feel bad about it."
Alex frowned. "Why not?"
"Because," Damien said casually, "the person he wants to practice those things with might be you."
Alex froze.
"Huh?"
"Yes," Damien continued, now smiling. "You already know him better than anyone else he’s talking about. That means you’re leading. It’s only a matter of time before you win him over completely."
Alex opened his mouth, then closed it again, unsure what to say.
"You’ve never liked anyone before, Alex," Damien went on, his tone softer now. "So believe me when I say this—I feel happy seeing how deep things are getting between you and Gabe. You might’ve started as therapist and client, but you’ve built something more than that. It’s obvious."
He placed a firm hand on Alex’s shoulder.
"At first," Damien admitted, "I only wanted you to fuck him so he could help repair your damaged glands. But now?" He shrugged lightly. "Now I don’t just want you to fuck him. I want you to build something with him."
Alex let out a long, heavy sigh.
"I don’t want you to end up like me," Damien added with a crooked grin. "I fucked an omega once, and now I’m going crazy looking for him."
He burst into laughter, loud and unrestrained.
"I don’t know about all this serious nonsense you’re talking about," Alex muttered, shaking his head. "And you’re right—Gabe and I are just therapist and client. Nothing more."
He paused, his expression turning serious.
"And even if there was a possibility of more, it shouldn’t be half-hearted. It should be something real. Anything else would only end up hurting him."
Alex clenched his fists at his sides. "I won’t let anyone use him through me. I won’t let him become my weakness."
Damien raised an eyebrow, a smirk tugging at his lips. "Are you sure about that?"
Alex didn’t answer.
You looked ready to lose your mind earlier, Damien thought inwardly, amused. All because Gabe mentioned other people.
Aloud, he said, "Tell me something, Alex. Would you really be able to handle it if you saw Gabe in someone else’s arms? Someone who isn’t you?"
Alex shot him a glare. "Stop asking stupid questions."
Damien only chuckled. "You’ve never allowed anyone to love you. And you’ve never loved anyone either. But maybe—just maybe—it’s time you open your heart and let someone in."
Alex turned away, irritation flashing across his face. "Enough."
He took a breath, forcing his tone back to neutral. "Anyway, how’s the preparation going? Is everything set?"
"Sure! We only need to leave tomorrow," Damien replied, a warm, satisfied smile spreading across his face.
Alex simply nodded in response, saying nothing more.
Night soon settled over the house. One after the other, the lights went out as everyone retired to their rooms. Alex and Damien shared a room, while Fred and Gabe stayed together in another.
Sleep came quickly.
Too quickly.
"It’s time!"
Damien’s loud voice echoed through the hallway, immediately followed by the sharp clang of a bell being struck repeatedly.
Gabe and Fred jolted awake at the same time, fear and irritation written clearly on their faces.
"We need to leave now if we want to arrive at the beach on time!" Damien added cheerfully, completely unbothered by the chaos he had caused.
"What?!"
Gabe groaned loudly, clutching his head as a dull ache already began forming behind his eyes.
"Just when exactly did we even go to bed?" he yelled, his voice thick with sleep and annoyance. "We literally just walked into the room, and now you’re here waking us up again. Like—seriously?!" 𝗳𝐫𝚎𝗲𝚠𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝘃𝚎𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝗺
"It’s been five hours since you went to bed," Damien replied calmly. "It’s 6:00 a.m. We need to leave early so we can get to the vacation house before evening."
With that, he turned and walked out of the room, leaving the door wide open.
A pillow came flying after him.
It missed.
Fred let out a long sigh as he swung his legs off the bed. "We can still say we’re not interested in the vacation, you know. It’s not compulsory."
"I’m going, and that’s final," Gabe replied firmly.
He pushed himself up, determination clear in his tone. "Like I said before, I need some quality time to enjoy myself before I take over my company."
He wheeled himself toward the door and slammed it shut behind Damien, muttering under his breath, before heading straight for the bathroom.
Fred shook his head with a tired chuckle. "I’ll just bathe with you before he comes back again."
Soon enough, both men were done bathing and getting ready. They dressed in the white T-shirts Damien had handed to them the night before, paired with black jean trousers and clean white sneakers. They styled their hair carefully and even wore the specs that had been provided, both of them looking far more put-together than they felt.
"When do you plan to let Alex and Damien see that you can actually walk?" Fred asked casually while adjusting his clothes. "I mean, the excuse you’re pretending for isn’t even around anymore."
"I will," Gabe replied softly, a warm smile appearing on his face. "When the time is right. For now, I’ll let it be."
Once he was satisfied with his appearance, he carefully lowered himself into his wheelchair.
"Let’s go," he added.
Fred nodded and moved to push the wheelchair out of the room. They stopped at the top of the stairs.
"Sorry for bothering you, dear," Gabe said lightly as Fred bent down, preparing to lift him—
Only for Alex to suddenly appear and scoop Gabe up in a bridal style instead.
The sudden movement sent a shock straight through Gabe’s spine.
"I told you to stop carrying me," Gabe protested, startled. "Fred can do that. You’re still injured, Alex."
Alex didn’t respond.
He simply carried Gabe down the stairs carefully, placed him gently back into his wheelchair, and walked away without a word.
Gabe stared after him, confused.
What’s wrong with him? he thought, watching Alex disappear from view.
"It’s time, guys!" Damien announced brightly from the living room. "The car is loaded with everything we’ll need. You’re in for a really good time!"
I hope so. Fred thought Inwardly with a heavy sigh.
He dashed out excitedly, with Fred and Gabe following behind.
Soon, all four of them were settled in the car. Alex sat by the window, his gaze fixed outside. Gabe sat in the middle, while Fred took the other window seat. Damien occupied the front seat beside the chauffeur.
The car rolled out of the compound and onto the quiet, early-morning tiled street.
Silence filled the vehicle.
No one spoke. Only soft music played in the background, blending with the hum of the engine as the city slowly woke around them.
Each of them lost in their own thoughts, the journey had officially begun.
