Magus: Rise of the Darkness Empress-Chapter 96: Ch : Return and Trouble

As the three ladies came to the rooftop, they immediately found a small hidden door. Actually calling it hidden was not correct because it was located in an extremely obvious place.

Again it was Weiss who took the lead and opened the door. And under it, she found quite a large amount of regular gold and silver coins. But surprisingly there was no holy coins at all.

And as it looked like this Meister person was definitely from the world of the Magus, it made sense why he cared so little about these coins and had left them behind even though he was a cheapskate.

But even though these gold and silver coins were useless in his eyes, that was not the case for Weiss, Peria and Elise. They were dazzled by this amount of wealth.

Immediately they started to stash all of it away. For Weiss, the value of the fake cores was actually lower than this gold and silver. If she took all of it away, then she would not need to worry about money for a long time, even after considering the expenses behind her research.

After that, they were finally done here and left the Castle with large bags on all the ladies’ hands. These Bags were so large and heavy that a regular person would not even be able to lift it from the ground.

There was a small village not too far away from the Castle. That was also the place where Weiss had kept their horses.

They was under the care of the chief of that village and he was getting paid a handsome sum of money to take care of the horses for these few days.

Not all the ladies went back to the village in order to bring the horses out. With so much luggage with them, that would have looked suspicious.

So, it was only the most mature looking person among them, Peria, who went to the village to bring the horses out. During that time, Weiss and Elise waited in the nearby forest while keeping an eye on the village.

Peria did not return with the pace that the ladies had expected. She actually took a whole hour before returning back. Not just that but as Peria returned, she had five horses with her instead of the three that she was supposed to have.

After meeting up with Weiss and Elise, Peria started to explain how she had suddenly gotten two extra horses.

It turned out that the village chief had actually assured himself that three alone ladies were definitely not going to survive the dangerous forest here. So he had already sold the horses just one day after he had gotten his hands on them.

But that was not all of this crimes. After seeing Peria returning, instead of apologising for his mistake, he had tried to gang up on Peria to capture her as a sex slave of the village.

Her beauty had already attracted this village chief’s attention when she was here the last time so now he was trying it take this opportunity to get his hands on this beautiful and busty piece of meat.

For that reason, Peria had to beat all the villagers up. After getting a beating that they would never forget in their lifetime, they all had become very obedient.

Next, Peria had retrieved the horses from the person who had bought them and even gave him a light beating for participating in this trouble.

But that was not the end. Peria knew that with the amount of luggage that they had, having more than three horses would be ideal.

Hearing the whole story, Weiss immediately praised Peria. She had handled the situation quite well. Actually if Weiss was there, she would have definitely tried to get more things as compensation. Still, Peria had done a very fine job.

Now with five horses to support them, the load that each of the ladies had to carry lessened significantly. So the journey back to the city of Lemarta was quite enjoyable for all three of them.

As the three ladies entered through the front gate with five horses, someone hiding in the roof of a nearby building immediately left after seeing them. But there were still several more people who were keeping an eye on these three ladies.
