But before going near the shop, Weiss changed her aura to match one of the guards from the Skepa family. This was the aura of one of the guards who had fucked the maids last day.

As for why Weiss did so, there was a good reason for it. Close to this shop, there was an item which was capable of storing a person’s aura signature. So Weiss changed her own aura to fool this item.

Then she finally came before the shop and started to browse what it had to offer. Among hundreds of different items, what had attacked Weiss’s attention was a gem stone that looked a bit faded but still had a very bright shine and looked very good.

Weiss was definitely not a lady who was interested in gem stones and such like this. But even then, this particular gemstone attracted her attention. And the reason for that was simple.

This gemstone was a product of magic. Weiss was very sure about this matter. In the last three years, she had done a lot of experiments on magical things.

So even though she was still not very knowledgeable about magic itself, she was at least very aware of what kind of aura a magic related item would have. And this gemstone was giving off similar kind of aura.

In his notes, Jonus Souran had written about several common magic spell that apprentice magus like them learned before coming to a world without mages.

And one such spell was called "Gem Transmutation". This spell allowed the apprentice magus to change a regular stone into a shiny gemstone. And it looked like this exact spell had been used in the creation of this gemstone before her.

Currently this shop had no other customers, so Weiss was able to have a conversation with the man running the shop. Him being super into Weiss’s sexy figure was also a reason why he was so ready to talk with her.

He was not any run of the mill shopkeeper and instead, he was an low level official Knight who was hiding his life force and aura of a knight through some kind of item.

Weiss mainly wanted to know where he had gotten this gem. She used the excuse that she had came to like it very much and she wanted to get more of them to make jewelleries.

Weiss also paid the asking price for the gem stone which made the shopkeeper super happy. This lady was not only good looking and had a big chest, she also had a big heart.

So he did not mind telling her about the source of this stone. For a businessman, the source of his item was a very valuable piece of information. But that was not the case for this man.

He mostly bought random things from random people and then try to sell then in the market to get some profit. This was actually not his source of income and instead it was just a hobby for him to relax.

That was why he did not mind telling Weiss about the source the gem stone. He came close to her and started whispering in her ear. During this process, he also hugged her busty body and enjoyed this situation to its fullest.

Weiss did not mind this at all. The only thing that she cared about was the information about the owner of this gemstone.

So the shopkeeper having a little fun in the process, as long as he did not have any evil intention toward her, she did not mind at all.

If this shopkeeper had thoughts like kidnapping Weiss and forcing her to come with him, then Weiss would have cut him down first and then ask questions later. But as this shopkeeper had no such thoughts, he was perfectly safe.

After learning about the seller of the gem stone from the shopkeeper, Weiss quickly left the Market and went toward a remote part of this large city.

According to the shopkeeper, he had gotten his hands on this gem just yesterday and the owner was currently living in a shabby hut in the slum like area of this city.

In that case, there was chance that the owner was still staying in that exact location and had not left the city.

If that was actually the case, then Weiss really wanted to meet with him. There was a possibility that this person was an apprentice magus.

Actually, normally Weiss would not want to encounter a magus because of how dangerous one was. But from the description of the shop keeper, it was clear that this man was old and was also on the verge of death.

In that case, this man most probably was a failed apprentice magus like Jonus Souran but was in a much worse condition than him.

There was still a possibility that he was a poweful person but the chance of that happening was not high. And with her current strength of a grand knight, Weiss was even stronger than Jonus Souran in his peak.

That was why she did not mind checking the man out at least. If there was any danger, she would immediately abandon her plans and would run away.

With this plan in her mind, Weiss used Fleet Footed steps and very quickly arrived at the location where the old man in question was.

From the aura that he was giving off, Weiss did not feel to much threat. So after thinking a little bit, she decided to make contact with him.

As Weiss approched him while not hiding her presence from the man, she had expected him to react and look at her. Even apprentice magi were supposed to have a high presence sensing ability.

But this man did not pay Weiss any attention and just continued to sit on the ground with his head down. He did not reply even when Weiss called out his name that he had told the shopkeeper.

Seeing this, Weiss tried to shake him a little with her hands. But as soon as she touched him, some kind of black mist came out of his body and the man suddenly started shouting. Then in the very next moment, as he pointed his hands toward Weiss, a rock manifest before it out of nowhere and came flying toward her.
