"The great serpent is able to draw power from nature, twist and destroy it, thereby producing evil and creating the Snake-men," said the Druid's message. "They use other lives as resources, ensuring that the chariot of destruction always has the power to move forward!"

So, this long-delayed battle meeting was finally held. That day, the one with the giant bear mount was the Northern General; the one riding a tall steed was a soldier from Haisas; the ones in the luxurious carriage were the local merchant council; even the Elf Clan sent representatives, partly to listen to the meeting and partly to check on the condition of the Elf Princess—they came riding elegant Wind Steeds or noble Unicorns.

Lynch went on foot.

The black-robed Mage wanted a magic item with the Eye of Insight ability, saying it was a very important gift for someone. Lynch made him a Crystal Ball as a token of gratitude for restoring his memories.

The guard standing at the door stopped him and said, "Who are you? Do you have an invitation?"

"No, but the generals here would be happy to see me, at least Wislin and Morgan would welcome me," Lynch responded.

"Even if you know those heroes, it doesn't mean you can come and go as you please today," the guard said, scrutinizing Lynch in his plain warrior attire, not believing for a second that he was anyone significant. "You don't even have a mount and you want to get in? Everyone here today arrived mounted!"

Lynch frowned. With just a thought, he could make the soldier change his attitude immediately and treat him like an emperor. But the mention of a mount sparked an idea in Lynch's mind.

"Though she doesn't like attending such occasions, she should be happy to see me," Lynch clapped his hands twice and lightly called Zilvra's name.

Thus, the Dark Elf was instantly transported to his side.

She took just two seconds to grasp the situation, then in one second, she leaped into Lynch's arms.

"Alright, alright, it's only been six days," Lynch laughed and said, "And this time, not even a god can separate us."

"You still have the nerve to laugh!" Zilvra said, sounding reproachful but at a loss for words.

"The Magic God did something to my head, forcibly helping me through some pain," Lynch said, pointing to his head, "I feel better now than ever!"

"That's good. You don't know how worried Soka was, and Yilinrui, and that Desire Demon, who mysteriously disappeared for so long!" Zilvra gave Lynch a sidelong glance, gritting her teeth. If she didn't mention these frustrating things, Zilvra feared she might end up bursting into laughter or tears.

Lynch uttered an "uh-huh" and wisely decided to change the subject immediately. He pointed to the guards at the City Lord Mansion's entrance and said, "Without a proper mount, it's probably still hard to get in."

Zilvra rolled her eyes at Lynch and said, "Then why are we even going in?" but while speaking, she twisted her ring to release the Black Dragon.

The massive beast sat down with a bang in front of the City Lord Mansion's gate, and compared to it, the magnificent palace seemed as insignificant as a small cottage. The Black Dragon squinted at the humans beneath it; the guard at the door was no bigger than one of its fingers.

"Black Dragon, from tomorrow you'll be free, this war doesn't need you anymore," Lynch's voice was low yet clearly audible. He continued, "But today, you'll still need to be my mount for one more night."

The Black Dragon nodded; it didn't appear happy, nor did it show any sign of relaxation. It simply lowered its head and stretched out its neck, obediently placing its gaping maw near the guard.

"Inform the people inside that the chief Great Mage of the Mage Association, the owner of the All-Knowing Tower—Lynch has arrived," the Mage said, pulling Zilvra by the arm, as they walked through the stunned crowd.

The Black Dragon blinked, suddenly coming up with a good idea. It unleashed its draconic might, the terrifying aura immediately gripping the hearts of all the nearby creatures. Along the path Lynch was walking, whether they were noble attendees or generals, whether horses, giant bears, or unicorns, all knelt down on the ground.

Lynch laughed heartily, gripping the Magic Wand tightly, walking forward slowly with Zilvra.
