Chapter 648: Chapter 240: Su Qing, Can You Heal?_2

"Meimei, stop making a fuss, I’m sorry, I apologize to my sister and you on her behalf," Fu Lixin said with a warm smile as she spoke softly to Su Qing.

Su Qing looked at Fu Lixin and shook her head.

"Sister, why apologize? I did nothing wrong. After mom saved her, she’s either a master or our family’s servant. What’s wrong with me asking her to take off her glasses?"

Fu Limei, dissatisfied, shook Fu Lixin’s hand. How could her sister lose face in front of a servant?

"Stop the fuss, let’s go see mom."

Fu Lixin and Su Qing nodded and, with a reluctant Fu Limei, left.

As Fu Limei was leaving, she turned her head and glared at Su Qing.

"Su Qing, don’t mind her, the second daughter is just like that, spoiled by the master,"

Aunt Hong didn’t know what to say, so she could only offer consolation.

Su Qing shook her head. She had no reason to care about a spoiled girl, but if Fu Limei did something to hurt her, of course, she wouldn’t let it go.

"Let’s go; I’ll go back to the room with you. You rest for a while."

Aunt Hong escorted Su Qing back to her room, then left. She still had work to do and couldn’t stay with Su Qing the whole time.

Su Qing sat on the sofa with a blank expression, looking at the wedding dress that was neatly organized not far away. Who was she? Why was she wearing a wedding dress and lost her memory? Did something happen to her before she was to be married? Who was her husband? What actually happened?

A sudden sharp pain in her head made Su Qing cover it uncomfortably and head to the bed to rest for a moment.

Around one o’clock in the afternoon, Fu Limei came out of her room, still feeling angry thinking about the unpleasant scene with that ugly woman at noon, and wanted to settle the score with her.

Fu Limei went straight to the guest villa in the back, where she had found out the woman was staying; she wanted to teach her a lesson.

Fu Limei stood at the door, heard no movement from inside the room, and, puzzled, opened the door and walked in, only to see the woman on the bed sleeping with her back towards her.

Fu Limei coldly sneered in her heart; she was full of anger, and this woman dared to sleep peacefully.

A mischievous thought came to Fu Limei; she carefully walked toward the bathroom, filled a cup with a lot of water, and approached Su Qing.

Suddenly, her gaze was drawn to the neatly folded wedding dress nearby, and on top of it a Ruby Ring and necklace; her eyes lit up, and she put down the cup and walked over to pick up the ring and necklace, "This... this is beautiful!"

As the daughter of the Fu Family, she had seen many fine things, but this ring and necklace were truly beautiful. Both the craftsmanship and design were exquisite and perfect, captivating her.

Fu Limei glanced at the still sleeping Su Qing, wore the ring to find it was a bit small, pursed her lips, forced it onto her finger, and put on the gemstone necklace around her neck. She looked in the mirror on the side and nodded in satisfaction, "These two items can be considered as compensation for mom saving you, as well as your room and board fees for living in our house."

After speaking, Fu Limei glanced again at the folded wedding dress. She picked it up, admired the luxurious embroidery and diamonds on it, and the layers and layers of the dress that were stunningly beautiful.

"This... this is beautiful!"

Could there be such a beautiful wedding dress?!

Fu Limei looked again at the peacefully sleeping Su Qing on the bed, wondering who exactly she was to own such beautiful and luxurious items!

Whoever she was, being saved by her mother, she ought to give some compensation fee, right?

Thinking this, Fu Limei’s originally unsettled heart steadied, and she threw the wedding dress aside and picked up the cup of water.

In bed, Su Qing lay there quietly asleep. Fu Limei, with a mischievous smile, approached with the cup in her hand, "You can’t blame me, you asked for it by offending me."

With a soft laugh, she lifted her hand, tilting the cup, when a slender, fair hand clutched Fu Limei’s wrist. The water that was meant for Su Qing suddenly splashed towards Fu Limei, drenching her face. The cup fell from her hand onto the floor, making a clear sound, and she closed her eyes, clenched her fists, and screamed loudly, "Ah, Su Qing, you dare splash me?!"

Su Qing sprang up from the bed, picked up a pair of black-framed glasses to put on, and stood opposite Fu Limei. She was a few centimeters taller than Fu Limei, and her presence suddenly became fierce, her eyes behind the glasses cold and somber.

Fu Limei wiped the water off her face, her makeup smeared from rubbing, which would usually make her scream, but at that moment she couldn’t care less, pointing at Su Qing and roaring loudly, "You dare splash me?"
