Lustful Demon King: Summoned by the Demon Goddesses!-Chapter 128: Natasha’s Appearance!
"CHARGE!" Killian’s roar tore through the fractured sky, and the Heroes moved as one, ready for another showdown.
This time however, they were much more intelligent than their first battle. They didn’t rush blindly, not at first at least.
Alicia vanished into layered displacement fields, reappearing at oblique angles with impossible timing with the plan of continuously barraging Jax from off-angles that were difficult to clear.
Alexi’s mana surged. Compared to before, she didn’t rely on her raw power, but now using structure and her knowledge. Using her mana, interlocking elemental loops designed to adapt mid-cast so she wouldn’t be caught out by Jax.
Touka took point, her oath-runes burning so bright they carved scars into the air, while Lizzy’s faith flooded the battlefield, bolstering them all with relentless divine reinforcement, a massive array forming that continuously buffed them and healed them from injuries sustained.
For the first time since their summoning, they fought like a true unit, and this made Jax happy, eager to pick them apart just after they experienced this high of being stronger than ever before.
~BOOM~BOOM~BOOM!~
Blades clashed with condensed mana barriers. Divine strikes forced Jax to shift position, not retreat, but acknowledge. Touka’s blade rang against his gauntlet, pushing him half a step back as her momentum carried through perfectly timed support from Alexi’s gravity weave.
Hydra intercepted Alicia mid-flight, emerald claws deflecting spatial arrows that detonated in controlled bursts meant to herd rather than kill.
"They’re learning," Hydra remarked mid-combat, tail lashing away a holy construct. "Annoying."
Jax laughed softly.
"Yes. That’s the point. It’s quite fun seeing what they’re trying to do, much better than the last time," Jax muttered, still very relaxed as he battle the Heroes.
Killian came again, faster this time, blade burning with layered blessings stacked far beyond what the Holy Church once deemed safe. His swings no longer wasted motion, each strike aimed to force Jax into disadvantageous positioning, cutting off angles, compressing space.
Jax didn’t get caught off at all, he blocked, redirected and slipped, letting himself be pushed to see what would happen, curious as to what their ideas where.
~BANG!~
A holy blast from Lizzy slammed into his shoulder, pushing him skidding backwards across the broken stone floor, and the other Heroes were all ready, seizing the moment instantly as Alicia shot an arrow pinned the ground near his foot, and it detonated into a blinding light all the while Alexi’s storm formation collapsed inward around Jax.
For half a second, Jax was surrounded by all of them, and even Hydra was in trouble, the Emerald Dragon snarled and surged forward, unleashing her poisonous aura.
"No," Jax said calmly.
He stepped out of the bindings as if they had never existed. All of the light shattered under his Demonic pressure, and the storm unraveled, leaving the battlefield completely still for a heartbeat as they had a stareoff.
The Heroes breathed hard, battered, bleeding, but standing, while Jax was relaxed, just looking at them with a smile.
They had forced him to respond, and he wanted to see more. Killian grinned through bloodied teeth. "See? You’re not untouchable."
Jax tilted his head.
"No," he agreed. "I’m just patient. How about I give you guys a little treat?" Jax said, and he raised one hand, the world actually pausing around all of them as they all paid attention to his actions.
Every Hero felt it. That sudden, suffocating awareness that something had shifted. That the battlefield was no longer the focus but instead all on him.
"Hydra," Jax said casually, "bring her."
Hydra’s eyes widened slightly, then curved into a wicked smile as she knew exactly what Jax was planning to do now, eager to see the Heroes reaction.
"Oh... this is going to be fun."
Space folded behind Jax.
A summoning circle bloomed into existence, not chaotic or violent, but precise. Authority-laced and absolute. Chains of crimson mana briefly flickered, then dissolved.
And Natasha stepped forward. She was no longer bound like before, no restraints or collars.
She wore dark, form-fitting armor etched with demonic sigils that pulsed softly with her heartbeat. Demonic tribal tattoos traced her arms, shoulders, and thighs, glowing faintly crimson as they responded to Jax’s presence.
Her aura was unmistakable, completely aligned with Jax.
Before anyone could speak, Natasha walked straight up to Jax—and wrapped her arms around him, pressing herself comfortably against his side. Her head rested against his chestplate, fingers hooking into the edges of his armor like she belonged there.
She smiled.
"Hey," she said warmly.
The battlefield entered a stunned silence as the Heroes reacted. Lizzy covered her mouth in shock, and Alexi’s spell collapsed mid formation from shock as well, while the others froze.
Eventually, Alicia staggered forward, "Natasha?" she whispered, hoping for it to not be true despite what her eyes were telling her.
Jax placed an arm around her waist without hesitation, pulling her closer.
"She’s adjusted remarkably well," he said conversationally, "Adaptable and loyal. She’s quite dangerous when properly motivated."
Natasha looked up at him, smirking, "You make it sound like I wasn’t always dangerous."
Jax chuckled, then he looked at Killian.
"Your cousin," Jax continued calmly, "is quite the woman."
Killian’s eyes went bloodshot as he heard this, hoping all of it was just a nightmare.
"She’s warm and tight, her voice is amazing, " Jax went on, deliberately slow to tease him. "She’s quite capable too, a wonderful addition to my family."
Natasha hugged him tighter, deliberately, pressing a kiss against his armored chest. The sound that tore out of Killian’s throat was not human.
"You....YOU BASTARD!" he screamed, divine power erupting wildly, uncontrolled, "LET HER GO!"
Lizzy’s faith snapped into frenzy. "He’s controlling her! He’s defiling her! Kill her if you have to!"
Natasha’s smile vanished.
She turned her head slowly toward Lizzy, eyes glowing faintly crimson.
"I chose this," she said flatly.
The words hit harder than any blow.
Killian lunged forward recklessly, emotion overtaking discipline as their formations collapsed. This time, the Heroes were no longer fighting to win.
They were fighting in rage, and rage was exactly what Jax wanted.
