Chapter 31: Chapter 31: It’s Not Your Pet

Nangong Ran made a throat-slashing gesture, indicating that he’s helpless.

As Di Mingjue dragged her along, Gu Qibao couldn’t help but yell, "Can’t you be gentler?!"

His attitude was so terrible that he almost pulled her arm off!

Di Mingjue glanced at her, an icy chill exuded from his gorgeous face. Seeing an empty box room, he tossed her directly into it.

"What are you...ah..." Gu Qibao suddenly screamed and threw herself into Di Mingjue’s arms.

Why did this guy turn off the lights as soon as he walked in? He gave her quite a scare, causing her to reflexively jump back, right into his firm embrace.

Indeed, she’s terribly unlucky!

Gu Qibao wanted to leave awkwardly, but Di Mingjue held her tightly.

Strangely enough, Gu Qibao’s heartbeat quickened. He seemed to have suddenly become gentle, had he developed masochistic tendencies?

Still contemplating, she heard Di Mingjue’s cold voice in her ear, "So eager to throw yourself at me?"

"I..." Gu Qibao felt ticklish from his antics. She really had overthought; where was the gentleness? It’s all a myth!

The heat of his breath danced around her ear, causing Gu Qibao to instinctively shrink her neck and grumble, "Why would you turn off the lights?!"

"How else do I kiss you?" Di Mingjue pushed her against the wall as he spoke.

For some reason, Gu Qibao’s face turned red. She felt her face burning, she couldn’t see his face in the darkness, but her senses had become more acute.

She felt his warm breath on her face, not as cold as usual, with a slight hint of alcohol, an overwhelming scent of male pheromones.

But what on earth did he mean by saying those words?

Although his words were ambiguous, his tone was steady, like... routine business?

"Don’t do this..." Gu Qibao pushed him, her tone involuntarily taking on a whining note.

"Don’t do what?" Di Mingjue teased her by grabbing her hand, giving him a deep sense of satisfaction from her kittenish behavior.

The darkness tended to heighten people’s senses, making Gu Qibao feel as if her ears were burning.

"Turn on the light quickly." Gu Qibao murmured. This turned-off light room was so dark, and she had always been afraid of darkness.

No sooner had she spoken, Di Mingjue tilted up her chin and leaned in to kiss her.

Perhaps it was the uncertainty of the darkness that made Gu Qibao swiftly dodge his kiss. She rolled up her fists, gritted her teeth and growled, "Di Mingjue, don’t go too far!"

Before her fist could land, it was caught in his firm grip.

He remained silent, merely holding her hand tightly, as if suppressing something.

That feeling made Gu Qibao’s heartbeat accelerate. For some reason, it was all too sudden!

Was it because the stronger he became, the more she felt? Damn, was she a masochist?

Gu Qibao’s face turned dangerous red with anger, struggling fiercely.

In response, he pinned both her hands against the wall and held her down, even more ruthlessly than her, leaving her no room to struggle.

"Good girl, behave." He bent down to whisper in her ear. His voice was still cold but somewhat seductive, like a temptation.

Behave my ass! Gu Qibao fumed inside. Why should I obey you? I’m not your pet!

Out of anger, she kicked at him, but he deftly caught her foot. Gu Qibao was at her wits’ end. Can’t she just have a little fun in peace?
