Chapter 91: Chapter 48: Indulgence in Wine and Women (3)
Even though Su Wan was reluctant thousands and thousands of times over, she had promised to attend, so she couldn’t back out at the last minute. After all, she wouldn’t be drinking, and God couldn’t drink since he drove, so it would be alright to go in, stay for a while, and then leave.
Xu Chengyang’s group had just arrived not long ago. Su Wan and Fu Weiheng walked in one after the other, and from a distance, they could see the group sitting on the large booths in front of the dance floor.
They were probably the last to arrive, and when the others saw them coming, they all stood up to give Fu Weiheng a seat.
Su Wan was surprised, feeling she had benefited from his presence.
Fu Weiheng nodded slightly at them and led Su Wan to sit in the corner of the booth.
Xu Chengyang and Yao Ye immediately switched seats with others to sit next to Su Wan, each holding a freshly mixed glass of foreign liquor, placing them in front of Fu Weiheng and Su Wan, the intention clear.
Su Wan looked at their mischievous smiles and said grumpily, "Not drinking!"
"Oh, oh, oh, got some attitude, I see." Xu Chengyang turned with his drink, aiming at Fu Weiheng, "God, have a drink, won’t you?"
Tonight, Fu Weiheng, for once, was surprisingly easygoing. He raised an eyebrow, lifted his hand to take the glass of amber liquor, but Su Wan reached out to stop him, raising her voice, "Don’t drink, you’re driving!"
"Wanwan, don’t cause trouble," Yao Ye leaned over to press down Su Wan’s hand, "Are you worried? Just hire a driver if you’re driving!"
"Exactly, he’s my senior brother, he must have a drink!" Xu Chengyang insisted seriously, emphasizing in a solemn tone.
Fu Weiheng chuckled softly, leaned in to Su Wan’s ear, his deep voice magnetic, "Don’t worry, my dear, your husband... stays sober while others are drunk."
As he finished speaking, he raised the glass and drank it down in one go, his Adam’s apple moving up and down with the swallowing motion, exuding extreme sensuality.
Su Wan blushed: "......"
At this moment, the lights flickered, illuminating the DJ on stage already sweating, who shouted into the microphone with a cigarette-roughened voice that skillfully heightened the atmosphere. The background music had switched to a highly rhythmic and hot dance track, and the crowd on the dance floor seemed injected with adrenaline, swaying along to the deafening music.
Xu Chengyang and his group had already moved with the waves onto the center of the dance floor, engaged in wild, carefree dancing. Su Wan felt a mix of emotions, never expecting this seemingly proper group of music students to also have such a wild and unrestrained side. It seemed like they were pent-up too long in the rehearsal room—unable to hold it in any longer.
Looking at the two women standing on the sides of the stage with daring postures, Su Wan inexplicably felt a bit bashful, feeling like an old-fashioned lady from the 60s—unable to accept it...
Then she looked at Fu Weiheng, who was quietly leaning against the leather sofa, lazily lifting his eyelids to gaze at her. The moving LED lights cast shadows on his handsome nose bridge, and his deep, dark eyes were as clear as a spring, unfathomable.
Su Wan suddenly felt a dry mouth, turned to pick up the mixed foreign liquor with green tea, and took a big sip.
Hmm, it tasted pretty good.
Fu Weiheng noticed her actions, silently curved his lips but didn’t stop her.
Su Wan kept sipping, and in the end, finished the drink. The bartender, seeing her empty glass, came over proactively and refilled it halfway. This happened several times, and unknowingly, Su Wan had downed five or six glasses.
On top of the soy milk she drank earlier, her stomach was now full of liquid, feeling bloated...
"Neil..." With the alcohol getting to her, Su Wan felt a bit dizzy, squeezing his hand. Due to the deafening music, she had to lean close to his ear and raise her voice, "I need to go to the restroom."
