Then what about His Lord, the Unholy Destroyer?

The Destroyer on the other hand was perfectly perfect

There is nothing more horrifying than Perfection. When you are truly met with Perfection, truly understand it with your heart, you would understand that perfection is horror.

And then His Lord become His Lord.

The Creator knows the backstory of the Destroyer. The current Destroyer is not the same Destroyer that came to annihilate the Etherna.

Though….it is also not quite right to say that. It is not perfectly accurate. It is more like; it is one of the same…. but not quite.

Rafah sighed.

"My Lord, give me guidance" he prays in his heart. The Creator would hear it and the Destroyer would hear it and even the One would hear it

They don't discriminate.

The one they do personally grant, that would be called a miracle. But mostly they let the rules and laws of the world that the mortal lives in to operate normally. It is when they interfere that some wacky shit happens.

When a Divine being touches you, and grants you your wish, then certain laws are being rewritten. The more absurd the wish that is being granted, the larger the ripple

But right now, Rafah believes there is only one who would grant him his wishes.

He also met Arno.

Arno in this timeline has quite a different fate.

But when Rafah looked at him, certain fates did not change. He is the God of Steel. The Ironmaker.

The Steelforge. He has many names.

Yet even though he bears the name of a God, he did not reach Sovereign realm. Only those who have Sovereign realm, cultivation could at least bear such title

But to say he is not capable would be a lie. And that title was worthy. People that Rafah pays attention to, how could it be normal?

Who is Arno that he would gain such mention and such consideration by Rafah who have seen everything there is?

Because Arno in the Battle of the End, chained the Darkness in the final battle. He chained it with his Cursed Chain.

What is the Darkness and what is the Cursed Chain?

The Darkness is his Lord, and the Cursed Chain is his life, his belief, his purity of heart

Rafah had never seen such thing before. Even though it is said that Etherna once chained the Destroyer, that was before his time

But in his lifetime, he had never seen any mortal able to chain or even stop the Destroyer even for a few seconds.

Unless His Lord himself seems intrigued and stops, there is no stopping Him

Even though it was just a few second, a mortal had done that.

There are only a few beings that could stop His Lord and all of those beings are rightfully called gods.

But a mortal.

Not even Sovereign.

He managed to chain the Destroyer.

Arno on this lifetime has quite a smooth sailing life. Loki appearance is like the so called mortal theory of a butterfly flaps its wings, and a storm occurs in the other side of the world

Rafah found out that Arno no longer serve in the African base. Considering that the African Alliance is now trying to assert itself the World Government is pulling their forces out of the world powers that wanted their forces gone

One might think that from this matter, Hirate seems very considerate and benevolent. But Hirate himself is forced by circumstances.

Japan secede itself and World Government lost two of its powerful combatants and deterrent, and many more is thinking of establishing independent power.

This is the biggest crisis of the World Government. Internal problem that if not treated could collapse the entire order

The world is now vast and there is many places to hide.

Unless they find some benefit to stay, they would have the thought to secede.

Of course, not everyone dares to secede and not everyone can do such a thing.

Some forces under the World Government did try to secede itself.

Some American lodges and guilds try to secede a few states from the control of the World Government the moment Hirate centralize and erase the name of the old nations.

There would only be the World Government and no distinction between the old states and nations of the old regime before the Fall

It was truly the destruction of the old order in every sense of the word.

Then they rebelled.

Hirate simply sent the Golden Army and the rebellion was put down in only a day. All those who resist stubbornly was killed and their head put up on a stake, and for those who have mastered some kinds of laws, Hirate made sure that their body was obliterated into oblivion

Hirate was quite ruthless. All of them were imprisoned. Death would be preferable. The kind of prison that Hirate brings them is a prison of the mind.

Hirate, himself is the master of this kind of method. There is nothing more terrifying than the prison of your own mind.

Not everybody is worthy and powerful enough to secede. Hikigaya and Oreki dare to do it because Hirate alone could not contain those two.

Even one would be a stretch.

For example, Hikigaya method of confusing reality and illusion could even probably trap Hirate in his own trap.

Using mind methods against someone like Hikigaya who master the application of reality and illusion could backfire easily

And Oreki is like thunder personification. Erasing all evils, smiting all confusion, shaking the earth and startling the heavens!

His own power disallows such mind method to even penetrate his mind.

But common rebels?

It was a fortunate timing

Hirate wanted to punish someone, to kill the chicken to warn the monkey and some American guilds just handed their neck to be slaughtered.

It is like someone handing him a pillow when he was just about to sleep.

But such method could never be used indefinitely.

Fear is a powerful tool.

But it could always backfire.

Sometimes fear makes people obedient.

Sometimes it makes people crazy.

And crazy people don't care about the consequences.

And the World Government is not the only world power, and they are not the strongest.

There is still Pandemonium

Pandemonium rarely meddles with other world powers.

But that did not mean they could not.

One of the clauses in the World Council rule is that no world power should use mind torture

This is because psionic force could warp a person's mind and changes people personality….among other things

It is also because it could confuse the people of who is guilty and who is not.

Hirate falls under a person who uses psionic forces.

Theoretically he is the head of one of the world powers and should not fear repercussion even more so in this new era where the law about everything is vague.

But Pandemonium under Death Monarch cares not about that.

The rules of the world conduct that has been established in the World Councill is so that people could recuperate, could live in this new world full of countless untold horrors.

Loki said it best.

If you broke one of the laws that you yourself set, then all convention would be off.

And all that would lead to is another period of chaos. Loki warned the world powers that Pandemonium would not care if they were plunged into another period of chaos….where there is no law at all.

But can you all bear it?

That was his warning.

And Hirate knows this and the world knows this. People in this era are not as powerless as before. Some could rise and become a god; some could be blessed by luck and ascend to the sky with one step.

Without order, this world would fall into chaos. Some powers could withstand it but you also need to assess whether you could withstand it

As for Arno, even though he is no longer in Africa, why was he here?

There is a delegation of the World Government coming and knowing Hirate, he does not have any intention in meddling with this internal matter of Pandemonium

"The White Witch? No, no, she is already settled. Is there another hand behind this?" he mutters to himself

Suddenly a song playing in the tavern, but Rafah ignored it. He met so many familiar faces today. And he needed to sort it all out before he could make another plan

He was confident before because everything was on track and all follows destiny and fate

Now, things had got out of hand, the ripples of time echoed all over the Omniverse.

Great changes is coming and he needs to formulate a new plan. Some old plans that he had made had to be abandoned.

And some new plans had to be made

"Maybe I should enlist Mimic" then he thinks about something else and then he shook his head.

"He's on the Republic side right now. Doing Boris a favor" he shook his head

There was one plan he had made before and abandoned it was the plan to sneak into the World Government and destroy the Cerebral device that Hirate had uses. It is how he uses to track many people in the world.

If he had done it, certain actions that he fears to do could be done. But the security of that room is too tight that Rafah had to abandon that plan.

Now, that he is in need of a new environment and a new plan, he wanted to open up more grounds for him to pick his chess pieces and if he could destroy that cerebral device, he could have a new ground to start with.
