Alioth had put his hand in his pocket, his fingers then came into contact with a flask.

The flask with Abzu's remains.

It was time to end all that madness, and for that, he should give everything and use the best myths he knew.

"I see, so that's how things are, what a shame, I really thought I could convince you, little brother... But I suppose I'll have to be a bit rough," Tomas commented as he stood up from his seat. "You know, even if I lost my powers, I still kept my knowledge. I was the one who invented the Devastra, I also know how to steal them, just as I could create large reserves of Keter. Though I suppose you already know how dangerous I can be."

Alioth didn't respond, he did know how powerful that man was. However, he intended to fight anyway.

"[Abzun]," Alioth responded.

He didn't reply, didn't answer, simply invoked his power.

Nun was the chaotic and primordial sea according to Egyptian mythology. An Egyptian equivalent to primordial chaos.

That name combined very well with Abzu, which was the name of the primordial sea according to Sumerian mythology.

It could also be considered the first principle, since it was the first mythological origin humanity had recorded.

The first conception of genesis.

Tomas raised an eyebrow at those words.

Was Alioth going to use the remains of a simple spirit as a catalyst?

Well no.

Tomas realized it too late.

What Alioth had done was very different.

Abzu's remains fell to the ground, were poured at that same instant onto the darkness.

Alioth had fused that dimension with Abzu's remains to achieve his objective.

"Shit," Tomas cursed, as he jumped backward quickly.

Suddenly, all the space's darkness began to tremble, and become more liquid.

Tomas remained suspended in the air, surrounded by a golden aura.

"[Sammohana]," he conjured quickly, as a tattoo glowed on his skin.

Sammohana was a Devastra that invoked madness, his intention was very clear, finish off his enemy's psyche before he could continue acting.

No mantra was needed, Tomas invoked the Devastra's power emitting sound waves similar to a scream, with the ability to tear his enemy's mind.

However, Alioth wasn't affected.

When his mental realm was attacked by that scream, he didn't even flinch.

The truth was his mind had strengthened all this time thanks to the Ished tree.

A mental realm so powerful couldn't be disturbed so easily.

"What? Tch, I see you have your tricks," Tomas commented annoyed.

He had lost a unique opportunity to quickly finish the combat, now it was too late.

From the ground began to sprout a dense and dark water, which began to spread through the darkness.

"I don't know what you did but it was useless," Alioth answered as he observed his enemy. "Engulf!"

The boy ordered.

And the cosmic ocean obeyed.

A large number of tentacles emerged from the primordial water's surface and lunged at Tomas, intending to catch him.

The latter hurried to invoke two keter swords to cut the tentacles easily.

"Tch, don't get so cocky, brat, you're still a novice," the man affirmed. "[Parvatastra]."

The man pointed upward with his finger, accumulating an extraordinary amount of divine power above his head.

Then, another tattoo glowed on his skin, golden this time.

Suddenly, a gigantic meteorite began to descend toward Alioth.

It was the Parvatastra, an Astra with the ability to make "mountains" descend from the sky, or rather meteorites.

However, Alioth didn't worry.

"As below so above," the boy commented.

In Sumerian mythology, it was believed the sky was another type of ocean.

A cosmic ocean.

And all that was part of [Abzun], the definitive incarnation of the primordial sea.

The darkness began to change, stars began to shine, as if it were a starry night.

The "sky" deformed, transforming into the mouth of a giant worm, which descended and devoured the meteorite in one bite.

"What do you think for a novice?" Alioth commented with a smile, as he raised his arm, only to lower it again.

After that gesture, the stars in the sky began to shine more intensely.

A rain of stars began to fall from the sky.

Hundreds of energy projectiles flew at full speed toward Tomas.

"Tch, this is nothing [Bhargavastra]," Tomas answered calmly, though somewhat annoyed.

Suddenly, hundreds of light glows began to fall from the sky, even faster than the artificial stars.

The light glows moved at great speed exploding against the stars making them explode before reaching their target.

He had used the Bhargavastra. A Devastra with the ability to make weapons fall from the sky.

A Devastra lethal enough to destroy entire armies.

The "sky" filled with light explosions. That seemed like a light show.

It was beautiful, but dangerous.

"How the hell does he have so many Devastra?" Alioth wondered.

According to what he understood it was only possible to obtain one Devastra.

However, that man had used a few, and it seemed he still had more divine weapons to use.

What was his secret?

Alioth had never heard of a Devastra capable of replicating others' Devastra, however, perhaps it was possible.

Another possibility was he really was the creator of the Devastra, and that's why he had so many, though Alioth preferred not to yield to that idea.

After all, assuming that man was Prometheus was assuming he was going to lose the combat.

Alioth didn't think he had a chance of defeating someone who was capable of facing the gods and emerging victorious.

Even if he was old and weakened.

The idea he was facing a crazy Prometheus fan was much more attractive and welcoming.

Though then, how was it that man seemed to be from his world?

The things the supposed "Tomas" knew indicated he had not only rummaged through his memories and mind, but also had experience living on Earth.

That was concerning, a bad sign, because it could also mean he really was his brother.

Alioth didn't want to believe it, but he couldn't deny it entirely either.

After all, if he was in another world, why not his brother too?

Of course, Alioth didn't want to believe his brother was capable of such atrocities.

But he knew pain can change people, and perhaps his brother had lived experiences that had traumatized him.

Alioth shook his head, pushing away those thoughts.

It didn't matter if that was his brother or not.

He had to stop him.

It didn't matter if that was his brother Tomas, even if it was, Alioth wasn't going to allow him to continue committing madness.

There was no justification for the acts he had witnessed, there never would be.

"I notice you're very quiet, what are you thinking, little brother?" Tomas asked in a mocking tone. "You shouldn't get distracted, as you well know, your body is your greatest weakness. [Nagastra]."

Tomas announced, upon doing so, Alioth felt something coil around him quickly.

"Shit..." the boy cursed, as air left his lungs and his bones began to creak.

The boy didn't have time to react, a serpent had been invoked and already coiled around him.

It was the Nagastra, also known as Nagapaasha. A Devastra that materializes as a deadly serpent that wraps around its enemies.

Some would think it was an unfair weapon, and not without reason. That weapon appeared directly on the enemy's body without giving them time to react.

Alioth barely saw how the serpent closed its fangs on his neck, however, and luckily for Alioth, [Abzun] did have time to react.

Quickly it had slid up Alioth's leg and had climbed just in time to cover the boy's neck.

The teeth collided against a layer of the primordial ocean, a liquid so dense that even occupying such a minimal volume it was capable of blocking that attack.

Quickly, the liquid entered inside the serpent at full speed, beginning to swell inside it, making it explode.

"Phew, that was close," the boy commented in pain, while the serpent hadn't managed to kill him, it had done quite a bit of damage. "I must find a way to increase my resistance and strength."

Alioth commented as he endured the pain and looked at Tomas.

Quickly the primordial sea trembled, from its surface hundreds of tentacles shot out with the intention of hitting or catching Tomas.

The latter without much problem, cut the incoming tentacles with utmost ease, almost bored as he did it.

"Mmm, perhaps it's time I get serious," the man commented, as he made the swords in his hands disappear, making a huge bow made of silver and golden mosaics appear instead. "It's time to use [Pashupatastra]."

Time seemed to stop the instant Tomas uttered those words.

In one of his pupils, a tattoo glowed golden, activating the Devastra.

Alioth felt his chest tighten, when on that majestic bow an arrow made of golden flames manifested, brighter than any star.

All his instincts told him that was dangerous, and not for nothing.

That weapon was [Pashupatastra], a Devastra with the ability to annihilate any entity in the cosmos.

Tomas had taken out his most destructive Devastra.
