Lord of Myths: I Can Summon and Fuse Divine Powers.-Chapter 81: Enclosed within Fantasies. (2)
Caligo entered through the crack, but what she saw wasn't freedom, but quite the opposite.
A large purple space extended before her, in it, hundreds of planets floated calmly.
In the distance, a great star illuminated all that reality.
"I suppose I should have seen it coming," the Ashura said with irritation, seeing that new reality, as she absorbed the Azoth from the sword she had used to open the crack.
It was quite obvious there would be more than one fantasy to deal with, it was very likely even more scenarios awaited her after this one.
"Though I'm not that worried about it either, after all this suits me well," the demon goddess of tyranny commented with a smile on her face.
She had seen the flaw in Anansi's plan, though she wasn't going to take full advantage of it.
For now.
"Huh? What the hell?" the Ashura then said with surprise.
She, who was floating in that purple space, felt how a force began to attract her downward.
Just like a gravitational force.
The Ashura lowered her gaze, seeing where she was approaching.
It was a kind of board with black and white squares.
On top of it were black armors and silver armors, each armed with some type of weapon.
"Wow, so those are my next enemies," the demon goddess of tyranny commented as she descended and landed on the board abruptly.
As soon as the Ashura landed, the armors began to move, as if they had come to life.
The first to move was a silver armor, which threw a thrust at the demon goddess of tyranny with a spear.
However, the Ashura dodged the spear elegantly while grabbing it by the shaft with one hand and breaking it in two with the other.
The Ashura turned while making that gesture, taking advantage to throw a kick at the armor, so strong it not only dented it but also made it hit more armors.
The next attack came from a black armor, which threw an axe blow against the ground with the intention of cutting Caligo.
However, the Ashura easily dodged the attack by giving a quick jump to one side, bouncing off the ground toward where the axe was, to be able to lean on it and give another jump and thus throw a flying kick at the armor's head.
The living armor's helmet went flying, bouncing off multiple armors of the same color causing more casualties for the armors.
"Heh, I have to admit this is fun," the Ashura mentioned seeing the helmet bounce off multiple armors.
But she didn't have time to remain distracted, as at that moment a silver armor attacked her with its sword, throwing a descending diagonal cut aimed at her back.
But the demon Ashura reacted quickly.
She simply stretched her arm and caught the sword between her fingers with barely any effort, to then turn and give a powerful punch to the armor in the chest.
The armor was sent flying backward, hitting multiple silver armors that were behind it, making them lose balance and fall backward.
"Ha! How pathetic, is that all you have!?" the demon goddess of tyranny asked arrogantly, as she saw the armors fall like dominoes.
Another armor attacked, it had a mace, and tried to crush her with it. But the Ashura only raised her hand, the metal mace hit the Ashura's hand, without scratching her, and the Ashura squeezed her hand, making the mace explode into pieces.
Then, she chained giving a punch to the helmet so strong it ended up caving it in.
Quickly the Ashura moved to one side, dodging another spear, which she caught with one hand, to then push with it the armor that had attacked her backward.
"Tch, though having so many is quite annoying," the demon goddess of tyranny added as she had to dodge a sword cut from another armor.
With speed, the girl gave a thrust with the spear to that armor, piercing it, to then move the spear with force and send that armor flying.
Subsequently to this, she propelled herself toward the group of shining armors, while spinning the spear around her with precise and lethal gestures, which cut a dozen silver armors in an instant.
Just after that feat, the Ashura leaned to one side, while holding the spear forcefully, and stretched her arm.
Then, employing all her arm's force, the demon goddess of tyranny threw the spear with brutal force, so strong it caused an explosion in the air.
Several black armors were impaled on the spear and pushed backward, leaving the board.
The Ashura smiled with satisfaction as she began to run, grabbing two swords from the ground and heading toward the group of black armors.
She moved gracefully among the armors, dodging attacks with ease and counterattacking with precise cuts that separated the black armors' limbs.
The Ashura began to laugh as she massacred living armors.
She was a creature of chaos, which was destined to create chaos and destruction, it was obvious someone like that would enjoy combat.
The best of all was that by massacring the armors that way, she wasn't spending even a bit of Azoth, quite the opposite, she was gaining it.
It was something the demon goddess of tyranny had noticed.
While she could no longer create Azoth naturally with her core in those "crystallized fantasies," she could create Azoth artificially.
It wasn't exactly creating Azoth, but absorbing the chaos around her turning it into Azoth.
For example, when the serpent went mad and attacked its "allies," chaos and destruction were generated.
A chaos from which the Ashura could feed to increase her Azoth.
It was a simple trick, but it had its logic. After all, the Ashura destroyed entire realities not only because it was their function, but because it also fed them quite a bit.
They weren't only creatures capable of invoking chaos with their mere presence, but they were also capable of feeding on the chaos they caused.
That's why, that situation favored the demon goddess of tyranny quite a bit.
Though it wasn't in her style to limit herself to a single form of attack.
"Well, now let the real massacre begin," the demon goddess of tyranny then said. "[Massacre]."
